Selene Davis from Absolute Granite is a delight to work with. I had a hard time with getting my kitchen granite installation done in time with another installer. I was introduced to Selene by my neighbor and she got the job done in a week! She is a true «get-​it-​done-​quick» and «get-​it-​done-​right» kind of person. She is also very good with design ideas w.r.t picking aesthetically complimentary backsplash and flooring. She refused to allow me to put in 4″ inch granite backsplash :), but instead pointed me to some extremely good tile options that would look great with my countertop! She truly cares about the final outcome of the project and customer satisfaction. So if you want your job done quick, and done right, you know where to go.

The process of choosing and installing new counter tops for our kitchen, dining area and hall bathroom was new to us. From start to finish Selene was tremendous. All of her design suggestions were welcomed and with some thought, each suggestion became a wise decision for us. She stepped us through the process and it was a fun experience. She really knows her business and the final price was well within our budget. Selene promised a lot of things and delivered on every one of them.
I would make one suggestion. If you can do take out your counter tops yourself, I would do that or get two bids on it.
Also, Georgio, who did the exact measurements and Sergei who did the install were outstanding! We have a large area and needed two slabs of granite, but the finished product only had one seam and it was smooth and nearly invisible. Thank you Sergei. You are the BEST. This also required meticulous measurements and installation. Thank you Georgio for two visits to our home to make sure everything would fit — sinks, stove top, etc.

We recently decided to re-​do our bathroom countertops, and the only person we even considered talking to was Selene at Absolute (after having worked with her on our kitchen last year). Selene met with us on multiple occasions, always working to find a time and location that was convenient for us. She is excellent at staying in touch during the process and answering any questions or concerns. Even though we didn’t think it would be possible with our budget, she helped us find gorgeous marble slabs for both bathrooms. Absolute cut and finished the countertops beautifully, and the installation process was easy and professional. I have only posted a few other Unilocal reviews in my life, but was SO pleased with this place, that I had to do another one. We recently did a kitchen remodel and decided on marble countertops in our kitchen. I was not sure where to even start. Our contractor recommended Absolute Granite and Marble. He told us there is no one better around and he has seen a lot of kitchen remodels in his day. I was told Ann was great to work with, so I called and drove down and met with her. She walked me through the process in a matter of minutes, told me where to go to find the marble (Meta Marble which ended up being the ONLY place in Georgetown that had a decent supply to pick from), informed us of the price, which was substantially lower than the other bid we had gotten from another fabricator, and booked the install in a timely manner exactly the week the cabinets were complete as we requested. Ann came over when the template was done and gave us some good ideas regarding edges, etc. She invited me to the showroom to plan which parts of the slabs would be used in which areas of the kitchen. She was very hands on and I felt very much a part of the process. And there was no stress whatsoever. The installers were equally amazing. The seam is nearly invisible. When requested, they came back once to polish a few areas again with no questions asked. I just cannot say enough. Five stars is not adequate! Look no further and don’t waste your time with other fabricators. We love our marble, and these guys, along with Meta Marble, are the way to go!

We used Absolute Granite and Marble for our kitchen and I was very impressed. I’ve remodeled a number of kitchens and this was by far the quickest turn around on a VERY complex design. My sales person Graham was incredibly helpful fine tuning the design.
Measurement and installation was straightforward and I was impressed with the technology used — no more cardboard templates. Highly recommend.

We had the luck of finding Selene Davis at Absolute Granite & Marble when we decided to renovate our kitchen and laundry room and install granite counters. I called around various fabricators and stone stores and was frustrated because I couldn’t find anyone who was willing to explain the process to me and with whom I felt I wanted to work with. Renovating a kitchen and laundry is stressful and time consuming and believe me, you want someone fantastic to work with and not who will take your business and then just disappear when you have questions. We wanted to bypass using a contractor because we knew the look we were going for (and it ultimately saves you a ton of money). When I called Selene, I knew within the first five minutes that she was the «one». She is responsive, motivated, and extremely detailed, and the professionals she works with – the people who create the template, to the people who install the granite were top quality.
We scheduled an appointment to meet Selene in Seattle. She set aside her entire day to take us around to see slabs. She wanted to show us what we wanted and then she listened to our feedback and showed us more options. We set out desiring white marble but quickly learned that might not be our best option with a huge kitchen and a small baby. She showed us White River granite that looks a lot like marble but has the durability of granite. We knew we loved it right away and the next task was to find our slabs. Don’t underestimate the fabricators relationships with the suppliers. Wherever we went, Selene knew everyone. If we needed to see a slab, within five minutes the people that worked there would have it moved out (which is a ton of work & requires crane like machines) for us to see. She worked on price and I have no doubt if there were a slab tucked away somewhere that would work perfectly for us that she would know about it and show it to us… nothing was overlooked & that’s what’s so great about working with her.
Absolute also has a bone yard filled with remnant slabs located in Kirkland. It was worth the drive and if you have a small project and/​or budget this may be the way to go.
Selene wants you to be happy and she goes through all the steps to make sure you’re a satisfied customer. She was in constant contact and flexible as to how we communicated. We live on Bainbridge Island and on the day the template was placed on the our slab, she used FaceTime so we could essentially be there and have a say in how it was laid out. I asked her if she would be at our house for installation and she said «no, I completely trust my guys». She was right and having such a great crew to work with means that she doesn’t have to micro manage everything, and in my opinion that’s the way it should be. The installation was a breeze, and as I mentioned earlier, the professionals who installed were beyond good. They worked from around 10 a.m. until after 7 p.m. to install everything and were meticulous. We couldn’t be more happy with the work they did, and our overall result.
We have two more bathrooms to renovate where we want to use marble and we will only work with Selene. If you can’t decide with whom you want to work, give her a call and you’ll see that she is amazing!

My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our house; we received a recommendation for a fabricator from a granite vendor, Selene at Absolute Granite & Marble! She was fantastic– engaging, knowledgeable, and detail-​oriented! We were on a tight time frame — she sprung into action to consult with us on different granite options, help make a selection and was able to quickly arrange for installation. Selene went above and beyond to track down a remnant to match our larger slab we purchased to ensure continuity in our kitchen… seriously!?!
She has a knack for design and was extremely helpful in providing input and design perspective for coordinating back splash materials. Selene’s focus is 100% on the customer which sometimes can be lacking in the industry.

Absolute Granite was on the list of fabricators my husband and I received from a granite showroom in Seattle. We needed a small slab for a counter-​top to a built-​in buffet we were having built in our dining room. We worked with Selene Davis from day 1 and she went over and beyond! She wanted to save us money so called around to find someone that had a smaller slab that would suit our project. We had a whole slab on order and she was able to locate a small piece which saved us a ton! I would give her 10 stars for the level of customer service if I could! She accommodated the install given that we needed it installed the day before Thanksgiving. She had a «can do» attitude, which was so appreciated and not something you are accustomed to these days. The guys that installed it did a beautiful job and they were very polite.
We would not hesitate to refer Selene and Absolute Granite! They will be the first we call should we need granite for a future project. Thank you Selene and team!

I have worked with Seline Davis for the past 6+ years on several of my remodeling projects that required marble, granite, travertine, glass tiles etc. All along Seline has proven to be highly informative, responsive and knowledgeable. Seline offers excellent design choices and guidance, helps negotiate fair pricing with installers and has always displayed high level of professionalism. My latest project (the kitchen) looks fantastic, thanks to Seline’s great advice and suggestions on material, coloring and layout. I have no hesitations in recommending her to anyone looking to take on a remodeling challenge.

I was referred to Selene Davis by a friend. She had extensive granite in her home. Her sister had referred her and both were very pleased with their installations.
Our granite kitchen island and countertops were installed and they are beautiful! Selene was extremely helpful during the process. She suggested places to look for slabs and even negotiated prices with them. She worked with us from day 1. She was also very responsive to my calls and many emails and the turnaround time exceeded my expectations!
The seams are very well done and match nicely — virtually invisible! She helped us pick the very best the piece had and avoided using the less than perfect parts.
She also did a bathroom vanity top from a remnant I chose from the pieces she had in her shop. It was a less expensive alternative to buying a generic looking top from Restoration Hardware and looks fantastic!
If I had more things that needed custom stone work, I would used Absolute Granite and Marble again. Highly recommended.

I contacted them because on their website they claim to have online estimates. Turns out it is 4 years old. They have since taken it down and are re-​doing it.
Pros:
It started off quite well, I had a large slab which needed supports and their main guy worked with me to put in u channel steel to support the large overhang since I did not want corbels.
The pricing was per square foot and they do break down the pricing by stone cost and installation cost. This is very helpful if you dont know which stone you are going with and you can tweak your budget accordingly. Other places typically just give you round figures and its gets very tedious going back and forth with different stones to get different quotes.
They allowed me to be there for template placing, although I had to squeeze between two slabs to get to my slab and place the template!
They also supported the sink quite well and left the place clean.
Some cons:
1. they dont take credit-​cards, was told this only after I had decided to go with them
2. get your measurements for the area absolutely right, if the area is smaller when they template nobody is going to go back and revise your estimate and reduce your bill. If its the otherway around you can be sure it will go up.
sealer dont not seem to be holding up, I have oil stains already on the countertop
3. they dont caulk the edges
4. sales person tried to charge me extra to make the slab conform to the walls, which everyone knows is never perfectly straight !
5. appointments got moved around and they did seem to take my time for granted. For instance my appt was changed twice before and then they showed up anyway after I had rescheduled everything else. I had the unpleasant task to apologize cancel on someone who was waiting for me.
The thing that ticked me off was this: when I complained, she said «what do you want me to do? I can only offer you an apology». An apology offered in that tone is no apology.
6. They typically dont give you the remnants, but you might ask– after all you paid for it. They let me have mine which was a rather big piece.
All in all I’d say they are pretty good, reasonable though not great pricing, the guys really do good work (it was a very big slab) and are conscientious. The owner is knowledgeable, they just need to brush up their PR skills a little.
