I’m not sure how this store has such a poor rating. I can only say good things about my experience. I was looking for diamond sofa «bella» bed, and I found it on another website for less. I decided to test out the
price guarantee, they match the price and then beat it by 10%. Negotiated this without too much trouble using the online chat.
My item arrived about 2 weeks ahead of schedule, securely packed and shipped. An excellent experience with this online site. I guess the poor rating is simply because people are more likely to voice their opinion when they are having trouble. But you should note that this site is a «google trusted» store, and a website can only achieve this certification if a great majority of shoppers are happy. So take all these negative reviews with a grain of salt, imo

This was my 1^st time ordering from ATG Stores. I was looking on the web and in stores for a sky blue futon cover in micro suede. ATG store was the only showing it had close to that color and material for a full size futon. I took a chance and ordered from them.
When the ordered arrived, it was a steel grey, denim material futon cover. This was not what I wanted. I filled out the return form and returned it.
About a month later, I received my credit card bill showing the purchase but no refund. I called ATG Store and spoke to a polite customer service rep. He informed me that I was supposed to call ATG store in addition to filling out and sending the return. I had no idea I was supposed to do that too. So the rep took care of logging it in. He said he would check to see if item was received at original vendor, «Surefit».
I gave it a week and then checked my credit card account to see if credited back.
It wasn’t. So I called again. A different rep answered. Again she was polite but said showed no record confirming with «Surefit» that slipcover was received. Now I am upset because I don’t have the slipcover any more (since I mailed it back) and it cost $ 49.99! She said she would call them. Had me on hold a bit but came back that she couldn’t reach Surefit.
I then received an email the next day stating they couldn’t confirm receiving the slipcover. Now I like to point out, this was returned a month ago, so I am not sure they would even have the records or be able to track it.
I purchased from many places, particularly Amazon online with no issues, even with returns. Needless to say I am NOT purchasing from ATG Stores again. The order was not right to begin with and in my eyes, they stole my money!

Don’t do it! Horrible customer service when your item comes damaged. It takes ATG forever to reorder your replacement order. Waited 6 weeks for the item, now waiting 8 weeks for replacement item. They have your money so there is no rush on their part.

Arrived quickly and as described. It’s just what we were hoping. Will use again. Very happy!

My fault! I should have read these reviews before ordering my two Hinckley exterior light fixtures! Their website promised 1 – 2 days for shipping. I picked these lights because of that short lead time — I had an electrical contractor scheduled to come out ONE TIME to my house. Anyway, they didn’t even ship for over two weeks, and when I finally received them, one of them had broken glass. They were packaged poorly to say the least. I’m still waiting for the glass… and waiting… and waiting… I do not recommend this company. Needless to say, I’m having to pay the electrician for another trip charge — thanks ATG Stores! Thumbs downs.

Ordered RT1226. ATW By Legends Furniture, Size: 44-​in, Finish: Antique White and when opened the top was obviously damaged, gouges, stamped in holes and now they are saying this is what «distress» look entails. Wish I could include pictures so you could have a laugh as we cry:-) What a hassle. Will never use again and suggest you think long and hard before doing business with this outfit.
Thanks to great support from customer service, Cotye Hoffman, Christa Davenport, this has been resolved to our satisfaction.

I made use of ATG Stores’ Sample Knobs and Pulls program. I ordered 1 of every cabinet knob I was interested in. I selected the best one for my tastes from that order, then ordered the rest of my knobs. I sent both order numbers to ATG, and within a few hours, ATG began the process to credit my payment account (PayPal) for the first order (the samples). The money showed up instantly in my PayPal account.
The sample program has the added benefit of identifying which of the merchants that participate in the ATG program has the fastest shipping.

Stay Away!!!
I totally agree with all negative posters here. I was so disappointed with outdoor wall light — maybe my fault that I did not check dimensions but this thing was like three inches square — ridiculously small. When I got package, no return instructions given. Called 800 number — got immediate busy signal — three times. Got on instant chat. 24 minute instant chat with unexplained delays and non-​response to my simple request for return instructions. Told me they have to get manufacturers approval for me to return my brand new item still in original packaging. I have to wait 4 – 6 business days TO GET AN EMAIL TO TELL ME IF THEY WILL LET ME RETURN AND GET INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAID RETURN. This is scam-​like behavior. Will NEVER NEVER NEVER come back to this store. Cannot believe this is associated with Lowes.

WARNING
Do not order through ATG Stores, a subsidiary of Lowe’s. They merely act as a 3^rd party vendor of other companies’ products. If you need to return a product, the process is beyond convoluted, expensive, and designed to make you give up and keep the product. In sum, ATG is a shyster in my opinion.

Terrible Customer Service! Stay Away! I ordered an item on their website on June 3^rd. It said the item was in stock. They debited my credit card immediately A couple days after I received an e-​mail stating that the item was on backorder and would not ship until the 16^th of June. I called on the 16^th to confirm that it had shipped and was then told the item would not ship out until after July 10^th. I cancelled my order. Stay away, this is one of those companies that take your money even though they do not have an item to ship and do not tell you it is out of stock until well after your payment transaction… let’s see how long it takes them to apply the refund to my credit card. I wish I had read all the bad reviews before placing an order with ATG. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

WARNING! THIS STORE IS A CREDIT CARD SCAM TRAP! I read all the bad reviews, but decided to roll the dice anyway since the item I was buying was less than $ 30. So, last night, I went through the process of adding the item to my cart and selected Paypal as my method of payment. I was taken to Paypal (which is normal) and did what I needed to do there. Then I was taken back to ATGStores (and here is where it got sketchy). The site was asking for my shipping and billing information. That is obviously not normal since I opted to pay with Paypal. Somehow, the site managed to populate some of my billing information automatically. Not sure how they did that (perhaps somehow they managed to grab it from my Paypal account when I logged in??) but I just deleted my billing info and clicked the COMPLETE ORDER button but the site would not proceed UNLESS I added my billing information. At that point I just abandoned the transaction altogether and called Paypal customer support to describe what happened and to find out if any money has been taken from my account. The Paypal representative explained to me that one of the main purposes of Paypal is so that you DON’T give your billing info to anyone since it’s all in your Paypal account. The representative explained to me that it was a good thing I did not complete the transaction and she told me nothing was taken from my account. BUT this morning I got a call from the fraud prevention department at my bank. They went on to describe over $ 300 in charges to my card (same card associated with my Paypal account). My card has been cancelled and I will have to wait 5 to 7 business days to get the replacement. Lesson learned. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

This many complaints cant be good. Got a flyer in the mail from Discover card giving me 15% off if I shop at ATG after seeing 95% negative comments here I think i’ll save my money and disapointment and shop else where!

Wish I had checked the review prior to purchasing from ATG Stores. I ordered a coffee table from here. The shipping date was listed as four days later, however, after not receiving the table two weeks later, I went back to check on the order status of my purchase. The shipping date that been pushed back, but even this time stated the coffee table would ship within a week. Yet again, I did not receive the table, but this time received a back order notification two weeks later. This notification came a month after my original order which stated the product was in stock and would ship within four days. So began what has been almost three months of waiting, new ship dates listed and multiple back order notifications. I have still not received my product which was purchased and charged to my credit card on March 3^rd. If your company does not have the product do not list it as in stock. If you company does not know if a product will be restocked, nor when it will be restocked, do not list it as in stock. It’s simple logic and good business practice.
After crossing the two month mark, I also went onto their website and left a review simply to warn other folks interested in the coffee table that they should not expect the table any time soon. That was three weeks ago and the review has yet to be posted. Do not be deceived by their website’s positive reviews. Clearly they screen all reviews and only post the good ones.
I will NEVER be shopping at ATG stores ever again.

This online store is thee most unorganized place I have shopped thus far.
I ordered a set of spa bath mats. The manufacturer only sent out one mat. I went back online to reassure what I ordered. Called customer service, after speaking with someone the 10^th time (I kid you not!!! 10 darn times) someone finally contacted the manufacturer and ordered a replacement to be sent out.
After the replacement order was submitted. I thought the process was complete. On Day 15 Still haven’t received any mats… I called customer care, explained my issue, once again!!! This time I spoke to 3 people. The 3^rd representative I spoke to, informed me. «Your replacement order was placed, but your items were never sent out. Wait! Huh your order haven’t even left the ground. Can I give you a call back» I replied; sure. She called me back, gave me a tracking number. I checked the number. The Items has been shipped. It has been approximently a week. So I’m still waiting!!! overall this process has been about one month in a half… I’m so over it … Never will I shop here again!!!

I ordered a shop light that was on sale, next day I rcvd. a confirmation email that said it wouldn’t even ship for another 30 days! I went to the chat line which was very slow in operation & was told I cannot cancel the order!
I will cancel the charge if it shows on my credit card.

Wanna get ripped-​off? Deal with ATG and you will. It’s been over 45 days since I placed a purchase for 2000.00 and still haven’t received the merch. It arrived once after a month, but was all damaged and therefore refused. Danger-​Danger!!!
Don’t mess with this organization. I called executive customer support at the parent-​company, Lowes. Hopefully they can help me get my money refunded without a jerk-​around from these losers. Buyer Beware!!! Truly not worthy of any stars.

DON’T SHOP AT THIS WEBSITE EVER
Purchased a coffee table for my 80 year old mom who is in an assistant living apt.
and when we determined that the size was just too large for mom’s walker to get around, we tried to exchange the table but didn’t like any of the replacements offered.
The table arrived in a carton box that was so damaged that it was discarded.
Both ATG and Basset said if we couldn’t return the table in the original box, not credit could be made. We offered to purchase a new box and pay for restocking so the glass table would be returned in good shape but both ATG and Basset refused
to allow us to do that and denied any other options.
Don’t spend even one cent on this website or you will regret it as my 80 year old mom and I have.

Treating a cancellation as a regular cancellation when your company is the one at fault is incorrect and unfair. You should not list an item as available on your site, charge the customer’s card for the order, and then inform the customer a few hours later that the item is out of stock. This is just plain dumb and grounds to taint your reputation online due to bad reviews — which is obviously the case here.
FYI to customers thinking of buying from ATG… When you chat with them online and click to let them them know how they are doing when the chat is over, they automatically show you their last 100 feedback ratings via their chat software with a green happy face («great»), yellow («ok») and red («not so good»). Out of 100 feedback ratings, they had 29% great, 11 just ok, and 60% not so good. That is perfect proof that these guys are not in the game of satisfying their customers.

Highly disappointed. Never buy from here !!!
I hope below mail from me to ATG customer care help you understand how much a customer is being made suffer in this site. With multiple calls since morning from ATG to Lows to ATG all I was told that we made a mistake in content of our website. They didn’t even had curtsy to give me call back at first place, I still have to wait to see if my money is returned. Wasted all my time and energy here to receive their big boxes in my third floor apartment, living with their ugly box in my living room and again with their return process with no fault of mine.

On 6^th of July I ordered «Darie Sectional Sofa» by Coaster Furniture with you.

To make sure everything is alright I called up customer care next working day and double checked with the executive about the order. «She confirmed me it will be full sectional sofa as shown in the picture but without Ottoman.»
Today morning (12^th July) I received one box with a big text printed «box 2 of 2» and partial sofa picture. I called up customer care about it and even executive there was not sure about partial picture and asked me to open and check. I told her firmly to confirm and then she told she will call me back and then later she told, may be it’s not full sectional sofa. She told me she will call me on Monday to let me know what all my options are and not to open the box.
My experience so far has been really bad. Inspite of double checking with customer care, I did not receive what I have been told. I am not sure who in the world orders partial sectional sofa and how to buy the other part of it.
I lost all other deals of 4^th July, I spent my time and energy on this and I should be getting what I have been sold.
P. S.: I had difficulty in the beginning convincing myself for ATG Stores as it has two star rating in Unilocal but then Lowe’s logo, Google trusted site badge and BBB ‘A’ grad made me think it should be all fine.
Please fix this.

Their own site filters out negative reviews, so don’t trust impressions from there.
Wishing I had visited Unilocal before ordering from these guys, they give online retailers a bad name. Check my other reviews and judge if I am one of those over critical Unilocalers.
Here’s what you can expect:
*Poor communication from their customer «service,» they will drain every ounce of patience you have thinking the occasional «sorry» is all a customer needs when their company royally screws up. Whoever the manager of that department is, I nominate them for an Irony award.
Free shipping that will only cost you a month of your time, and expect a rescheduling or two (hope you don’t have an office job, because their contractor has the timeliness of your stereotypical cable guy)
Pray to god your furniture arrives as ordered, otherwise you get to play the waiting game for them to get their act together on sending another.
Pray to god your furniture isn’t defective, my futon broke after just 2 weeks of use. After a «we’ll get a replacement to you» I get told 5 days later that I only need to wait another 10 days for it to start the shipping process (which only took 2.5 weeks the first go around).
So here I am, $ 400 poorer, and being told that in just another 3 weeks I should be able to own the couch I paid for 2 months ago (after I disassemble the defective one they sent me, repackage it myself, and assemble the new one).
Their terrible service and communication have led me to ask for a refund so I can stop sleeping on the floor. Can’t wait to see how streamlined and comforting this experience will be.
These folks have no business attempting to be a national retailer, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who isn’t local.
