I would like to take this time and give MONA RENNER at Coldwell Bain a top notch 5 star review because she deserves it and I have only just begun working with her in the early stages of prep work before placing my house on the market. I can tell you not knowing her but feeling from my heart she is 100% trust worthy for sure. She came recommended to me by my sister Debbie St. Marie with very high regards about Mona and I have to admit my sister was exactly right on.
Mona is very professional, extremely knowledgeable in what she does, so thorough, very prompt in responses, and communicates honestly with recommendations in order to prep my house. She also has provided me with so many great references for roof contractors, inspectors and city ordinance/​permit contact information too.

Jon Anderson did an AWESOME job facilitating our home purchase. He worked hard finding properties that met my needs and the needs of my husband. (NOT an easy task) Jon was fantastic every step of the way. Answering questions, submitting offers, keeping the mortgage broker on track, and working with Escrow to make sure everything was done on time. He is knowledgeable, professional, hard working, and great at what he does. I HIGHLY recommend him — he is the best!

I just ended a rental lease with this company, and there were numerous incidents that demonstrated how poorly managed the company is. From not getting 24 hour notice of entry, to getting a rude call from my property manager telling me my rental check bounced when it had not (she meant to call a different client). The worst was the process of getting my deposit back. They took out a carpet cleaning charge even though I paid for it (it was in my lease to do so). They’ve sent additional checks but they have not gotten it right. I moved out over 2 months ago. I have rented for over 10 years, and I have never experienced this level of mismanagement.

If I could give zero stars I would. You’d be better off finding a home for rent on Craigslist. I’m not bitter, because we found a much better house with much better terms than the one they were shilling, but their business practice is horrible.
Don’t walk, run from these people.

Took me 14 months to find a place. Thanks to Dallas Hurricane Wilson (second agent), I have a lovely new home. He took my «wishlist» and found the right place for me and helped me through the process. Very on top of how the process works and what would and should happen. Special mention to Landover Mortgage — David Henn for making my financing happen when I really wasn’t very well prepared — having given up on finding a place. These guys make a great team! If you are a renter, beware of entering into a lease agreement with C.B.Bain in Kirkland. Their lease agreement states just enough infornation to allow a tenant to get trapped into paying an extra month’s rent upon moving out. Our lease was up on the 31^st of the month, and it clearly stated that we were to give 20 days notice before we plan to move out. We did just that, not realizing that in Washington the law says the notice must be given 20 days prior to the next rent payment or the tenant is responsible for the following month’s rent. In other words there is no prorating rent. This was never disclosed to us, and we gave notice so that 20 days later would be the 3^rd. C.B. Bain would not budge. They told me it was too bad for me that I did not understand the law, basically, not their problem as they cash my check. This was after being ideal tenants for 4 years.
When I asked the director about the lease agreement and suggested they include one more sentence in the future to let people know what is actually expected of them when they enter into a contract with CB Bain, she told me it was a courtsey that they even included the language explaining the need for 20 days notice. It really seems to me like they are a shady business hoping to make money off of people who move here from out of state, or are not up on Washington’s rental laws.

i work with agents in this office on a regular basis and am always impressed with their knowledge level and expertise. The best in the business as far as i am concerned.

I recently let Paula Sepanski at Coldwell Banker Bain sell my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service I received. C. B. Bain is known in the area for having fantastic service, both for selling and buying, but Paula simply knocked my socks off. She chased every sales lead, fought for a great price, and ultimately got me my asking price when there was every reason I shouldn’t have gotten it. Her personal ethics and her work ethic are phenomenal… phone calls were answered or returned any hour of every day. What amazed me most is just how hard she worked for me when I know she was selling multi-​million dollar homes as well (my home was worth… less… :). Use CBBain, and be sure to ask for Paula; wether buying or selling, you won’t be disappointed.
