After an initial hiccup with the scheduling, Dominic and Mario perfectly completed a tile repair to our kitchen backsplash. It looks seamless with the existing work. They were both careful and conscientious workers who left the site clean when the job was done. I’m very happy with the tile work and we will use D. Ciulla Flooring for future projects.

We contacted Dominic after reading his great reviews on Unilocal.For months we’d interviewed several tile guys and we hadn’t found anyone who we trusted enough to be in our house and tile our upstairs bathroom floors. We were getting a little discouraged by characters who low balled us or didn’t want to help us.
Dominic was the most professional in meeting with us and quoting the job. He offered good suggestions to improve appearance and save money. We decided to have him tile our master shower as well.
Dominic and his assistant, Mario, were hard workers and craftsmen. We were impressed at Dominic’s organization. He even cleaned up his worksite at the end of each day. He was methodical and did not take shortcuts. Throughout the job, he kept us aware of progress and suggested changes that might be considered
The result was beyond our expectations. The floors and shower are beautiful. We never envisioned that our bathrooms would look this nice. Dominic completed the job within budget! He even came back after we installed toilets and fixtures and finished the job.

Set up a morning appointment and Dominic didn’t show. I called next day and set up an evening appointment and he didn’t show. He made no attempt to call either time. With all this positive reviews I have to assume they are fabricated. HE IS NOT A RESPONSIBLE PERSON

Dominic just completed over 600 square feet of tile on our basement floor. Since the concrete subfloor was painted, he remove all the paint before laying the tiles perfectly. He did a fabulous job! From start to finish he proved to be a diligent worker and a quality craftsman. We highly recommend Dominic for any tile job in your home.

I found Dominic on Unilocal and am so glad I did! I was lucky enough to catch him between jobs and I am totally pleased with the outcome. Our kitchen floor was water damaged due to an old dishwasher leak. It needed a complete overhaul — layers of old linoleum removed, layers of particle board removed and new cement laid to level out years of wear on an already improperly installed floor. Dominic knew exactly what needed to be done and worked diligently to make it happen quickly. He is thorough, efficient, affordable, communicative and a really nice guy. I highly recommend him.

I had Dominic tile a kitchen counter, foyer, kitchen and bathroom in a rental house that was 3000 miles from me. I got his name and reviews from Unilocal and was happy I did. He is an excellent tiler and had great communication throughout the job. He went above and beyond to help me with issues that arose during the repairs and I felt I had someone I could trust to help me with other things on the job site. For those who are looking to have tile work done on a house but you are not local to supervise, Dominic is the perfect choice. He was trustworthy and and expert tiler. I am very pleased with his work. I will add pictures to this review at a later date.

I needed master bath remodel, for my home in Sammamish, and I reached out to Dominic based on Unilocal reviews. Dominic responded immediately and came to provide quote. His quote was very reasonable and I ended up hiring Dominic (not just because of his quote but also based on his communication — I was trusting he would do great work for me). He was upfront about his availability and was willing to work with me and put extra effort to make my project complete in time. All through the process, he was very professional, and most importantly his work was superb! I am so happy with how my bathroom turned out. Due to results, I ended up remodeling another bathroom. Was very happy with the work and services that Dominic provided. Soon, I will have him remodel another bathroom for me :).

Dominic came recommended from a contractor we know personally who works with Dominic regularly. Dominic came out to size up the job, gave us some guidance on where to get tile and we were on our way. Dominic provided us an estimate and stuck to it. Dominic is a perfectionist. A perfectionist who stays on budget is who you want doing your tile work.
It is hard to tell from my poor picture but he made the subway tile line up perfectly on all edges, and even made the corners look like some bent the tile perfectly and maintain its dimensions. Super meticulous attention to detail. Great job on building the shower pan, installing shower subway, penny rounds for floor and back of nooks, quarter round, bathroom tile and grouting. I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with Dominic and would definitely work with him again. The only recommendation I would have is to sit down with Dominic with the final plans and get the measurements on tile firmed up before ordering. We had to go back and get some additional tile, but Dominic was so flexible and even ran back to the tile shop to pickup the extra order of tile needed. Dominic is a master tiler and you will not be disappointed.

I get picky when I look for a tiler. I do not want a single spot to have the grout too large or the lines not perfect as you see that flaw every time you look at it. I work with subcontractors all the time and have worked with several tilers over the years and I know what you can ask of them. I predicted Dominic would be good when I talked to his references and without asking they said he was a perfectionist and one person talked about if there was one flaw you would see it forever and you wanted to make sure your tiler didn’t create any flaws. I knew his references didn’t accept a mediocre or average job by their comments and the level of work they were asking him to do.
Dominic was hired to install tile in a bathtub surround. It was a more simple installation, 8×10 ceramic tile with matching bullnose and some corner shelving. However, it did have a accent tile making a horizontal line towards the top and this tile was thicker than the standard tile. This is where the basic tiler has problems. I was not sure that the accent tile could be included as just laying the tiles next to each other, the accent tile showed part of the raw side (further down than the finished edge of the side). Another tiler said they could not put it in as it was too tall. Dominic was given the choice to put the accent tile in if he could but if he couldn’t that was ok. He thought it would be fine.
Dominic did a good job and was efficient in his work and he was willing to use the smaller grout line we requested and put the accent tile line in. It all looked great. He did the work in a timely manner.
We had him come back for a second bathroom — this one installing a pre-​made tub surround (the thin kind that gets glued to the wall). That job went fine also.
I would hire him all day long and recommend him to others. You will see that tile forever, so it is worth it to have it looking very nice.
Update, We also hired Dominic to do a floor installation (floating vynal planks). There were parts they did well such as scribing the floor to get it close to an uneven stone fireplace. But they didn’t plan the layout well enough and the other side of the fireplace had a ½″ plus gap. Impossible to put a small strip of flooring there. They said they would handle this and put grout in and it would look fine. However, they came back to do this without letting us know they were there for final things (just showed up when nobody was there and used the garage access they had) and never did that. They said they could not use grout but never fixed up that area. We had to hire someone else. If they would have planned the layout better they would not have had a small strip in that location. They were hired rather than someone much cheaper as the flow of the flooring went around fireplaces, flowed into several rooms, down hallways, etc. Lowered them one star for this issue. I would think twice about hiring them for something other than a tile job.

We found Dominic on Unilocal and Angie’s List, and had him quote retiling 2 bathrooms and a fireplace. Dominic did an absolutely terrific job — my wife and I were super impressed!!! He was professional, punctual, and very, very clean! Everything was cut outside, and tile chips or grout were not left behind for us to clean up. Best of all, he stayed within our budget.
Based on our experience, I highly recommend Dominic to anyone who needs a true tile professional for tile work!

Dominic is a perfectionist and the beautiful work he completed in our home reflects his meticulous nature. Our General Contractor hired a company to complete tile installation in a guest bathroom. The work was so poorly executed that all of the tile had to be removed and redone. Our contractor claimed the selected tile could never be installed properly because of our designer’s layout specifications. Dominic was hired to redo the shower and with his knowledge and great expertise, he was able to install the tile as specified. His work exceeded all expectations. Dominic was subsequently hired to tile our master bathroom shower, repair improperly installed tiles in another bathroom and tile kitchen and utility room backsplashes. All work was beautifully executed and he was both courteous and professional throughout the project. I would give Dominic my highest recommendation.

I brought Dominic into a Master Suite Addition with short notice and then multiple delays. I will first say that he was very accommodating and ended up working the weekend to meet my deadline. He worked with my other contractors to facilitate a seamless installation.
Now getting to the work, nothing short of professional. He met every one of my needs even though it meant more work. I was shocked by the amount of cuts that were needed as I never laid tile before. I just wanted what I wanted. The final product met every one of the needs and wants by myself and more importantly my wife. He cleaned up every night and kept me in the loop with every decision that was needed.
I can say that the project met everyone of my expectations. I will have Dominic back in the future for other needs as I continue my remodel project. I cant say that about all of the contractors I have had out.
