I’ve been getting my haircut by Diana for years. She always does a great job, is a very nice person and has affordable prices. Excellence Barber is a beautiful and convenient studio.

Diana is excellent! I’ve been going to her for almost 4 years, from Weldon, to downtown Bellevue, to her own space in Kirkland. She consistently delivers a high quality cut. She remembers your style, makes suggestions, and is good at dealing with tricky hairline and cowlick issues. She takes her time and doesn’t just rush through a quick buzz. The hot towel on the face and scalp massage go a long way to providing a relaxing atmosphere.
The space itself is quite cozy. It’s easy to find, and there’s plenty of free parking in the garage behind the building (a rarity in DT Kirkland). Scheduling on her website is a breeze.

I would recommend Excellence Barber to anyone who enjoys a relaxing environment. Diana has been cutting my hair for a while now and she is always positive and I enjoy a good conversation with her as well. Her studio is great because it is a private space so you are not sitting in a big room like some salons having to listen to other conversations/​noise. Her prices are great and offers different services than just a haircut. Hot face towel, neck shave and scalp massage are just a few things that make it great and she offers a line of men’s products which is convenient. Parking and access is easy as well. I don’t plan on having anyone else cut my hair. If you want a great atmosphere and a relaxing hair cut give Excellence Barber a try.

This place is THE best, specifically Diana V. She started cutting my hair at Weldon and I followed her when she left to start her own business because of how good she is. Diana is a true professional and very accommodating in terms of scheduling an appointment (which is nice if you have a demanding job). Not to mention she is a really fun and sweet person.
She really does care a lot about her clients, which is why I felt compelled to write a Unilocal review (which I almost never do). She is definitely someone I will stick with for the rest of my time in Seattle. I highly recommend you do the same!
