A friend recommended Al Namazi to me for the installation of a ductless AC/​heat-​pump system in my new house, and I’m glad he did! Al and his team did a fantastic job… and did it in a rather timely fashion.

I could not be happier with Al and his excellent team. I found Al through an energy consultation that the city of Seattle was offering; the consultant came in and recommended the product to heat our home — goodbye old wall heaters! The team came on time, early in fact, the electricians and the installer of the units wore booties, respected my home and all their work was very well done and they cleaned up after themselves. Al came by to answer all my questions and ensure I was happy before and after. I LOVE our split pump wall heater/​AC unit — it’s been a life changer.

These guys did just an amazing job installing a ductless A/​C system in our condo in Kirkland, WA and its working perfectly.
We had gotten estimates from two other companies for nearly twice as much as what we got from Energy Technologies before we contacted Energy Technologies. The other companies also gave us a lot of incorrect information (such as how it would take 6 weeks to get a permit when it only took two days for a permit and how the installation would take two full days when it took just 4 hours) and outright lies about the actual prices of the A/​C units themselves, all this obviously to try to justify overcharging the customers.
The guys from Energy Technologies did all the work in just 4 to 5 hours, and did a beautiful job, even vacuumed and swept the tiny bit of dust was left after installing the unit on the wall, and left leaving the place looking spotless.
The owner is true professional, he personally came and inspected the installation the day of the installation to make sure everything is working perfectly and even offered to come by and personally show us how to operate the unit the next day.
It’s such a pleasure to see that there are still companies like Energy Technologies out there doing professional work at fair prices. If you need a A/​C or heating system, I would strongly recommend you call these guys and don’t even bother with anyone else.

we used this company to install a heat pump system as part of our remodel last year, and our experience with them was somewhat mixed. Everything went great during the planning and installation phases. But a month or so after our job was completed, we started to run into trouble when we began the process of refinancing our mortgage, based upon the new value of the home as a result of the upgrades and addition we added, we discovered, much to our surprise, that there was a ten thousand dollar lien on our property that we were not aware of. It turns out that Energy Technologies put this lien on our property, even though we had paid the bill in full for our heat pump. Energy Technologies was sub-​contracted through another contractor who we used on the job, and we paid them in full, but they never paid Energy Technologies the money they were owed. Hence, a mixed experience. Who is really at fault? The contractor who we paid who did not pay Energy Technologies the money they were owed. Nonetheless, we were upset, and felt that Energy Technologies could have at least given us a phone call to let us know they were not paid, and that they were putting a lien on our property, which almost cost us the ability to refinance after all our hard work (not to mention over 100k we spent during our remodel). I felt like a detective trying to track down the source of the lien. Everyone involved was surprisingly mum about it. We were indeed the last to know, which is disappointing, since we were the customer. Energy Technologies sat silent for weeks about their lien, rather than just call me directly to find out that it was the other contractor who had not paid their bill, yet we were the ones (in addition, of course, to Energy Technologies) to suffer for it. Overall the service and equipment installation went smooth, the problem with the lien could have been avoided, or at least handled sooner, with a little better communication. It was awkward between us and our mortgage broker, who we have a great relationship with, to encounter a lien we were not aware of. Whether this also damaged our credit is not clear to me.
