Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented a Dodge Dart over the Thanksgiving weekend while I had family in town. The staff at my Kirkland neighborhood Enterprise were very knowledgeable, fast and friendly. The car was ready and clean, it was an ok car for a few days. Hopefully not Dodge’s best effort. The car was a no smoking car, but someone apparently thinks that rule applies to others as it smelled like cigarettes. Nonetheless I certainly would rent from them again just not that car.

I was promptly picked up/​dropped off then given a nicely cleaned car. No hassle, no confusion, no delay, no nonsense. I wish renting a car was this easy all the time.
I will be frequenting a bodyshop near this location and will not hesitate to use this Kirkland Enterprise branch in the future.

Absolute lifesavers! I needed a last-​minute rental car when my own car was waylaid by an unfortunate accident (compounded by an inept tow truck). It was a summer Saturday, and the other rental place nearby was out of cars.
Enterprise helped me. No reservation? No problem. They found me a car and gave me an upgrade just to be nice. The car was new and clean, and even with no reservation, I was out the door in under a half hour. The clerks were all friendly and helpful. Since I wasn’t sure how long I’d need the car, I mentioned that — and was told it was no problem to return the car early for a prorated price, or to extend my rental if need be.
Fortunately, I was able to get my car fixed relatively quickly, and I was able to return the rental quickly. I forgot to refill the tank and they cut me a break on the gas, and offered to drive me to the mechanic.
Having your own car in the shop unexpectedly is stressful, but the guys at this Enterprise made it a little easier. I’ve used them in the past and my experience was similar then. Recommended.

Day one at Enterprise Kirkland. Guys there were very kind until the guy in charge showed up and gave me the car he wanted to, giving me no option to get an economic or a different price rate. I really needed the car so I accepted and insurance it as it was mine. That day I had an accident and my car was at the body shop across the street and I live very far away from kirkland so I took the car.
After many days driving the car the same guy called me (first call) to charge me for the days i have had the car telling me the reason that my insurance wont cover any more days so he called me because my card got declined. Fair enough, I paid in full with my debit card and he asked me if my car still in reparation, i told him yes and i will use it till my car is ready.
Then after that call finaly i realize i can drop the car at a nearest enterprise which was at University District. They were REALLY kind and understood my situation. Bryan, the guy in charge helped me and gave me the car back and gave me a better low rate and didn’t charge me for anything in that day, also i want to point it out, he undestood my needs as a persone who needs a car to go to work and any other emergency. THATS A COSTUMER SERVICE.
Second call was the worst (Kirkland’s manager). He told me that my credit and debit card got declined and so i have to pay NOW. I got upset the way he treated me, i told him i will pay and drop the car at University District but also ask him why he was so starving of payment. Bryan at University didn’t charge me a dimme so why he was like that so his quote was «I need you to pay NOW or I’ll report the car as stolen and also make a repo and charge you an additional 300 dollar». This is outrageous.
After he quoted that I told him why is he treating me like that. He insisted on it and then i told him I will drop the car at University and he told «better hurry up, store close in 10 minutes»
Now I’m riding a bus, my car still at bodyshop and i feel very disappointed.

Worst company ever! I would recommend never renting from this branch and/​or company ever. They hit my own personal car in their parking lot and now they are taking me to insurance saying I hit them… AFTER they apologized and said sorry they hit me and don’t worry about paying for your rental car. I’m frustrated, disappointed, spending many hours on the phone with my insurance company… very angry!
ZERO STARS.

We needed a rental while our car was in the shop across the street and Geico sent us to this location. Not only were they super nice, but they upgraded us to a much nicer car at no charge. The car was extremely clean inside and ran just fine. The only issue with the location is that depending on the time of day the parking lot can be quite full and is very tight to turn around in.

Worst. Experience. Ever. Never in all the years that I have rented with enterprise have I been treated like I don’t know how rentals work or how to drive! I rented a larger truck for a couple days because it was cheaper than a uhaul. The kid (and yes, he was a kid) that got everything ready was nice enough and promised that I would get the full 100 $ deposit back. Never mind that he and his manager FORCED me to take their insurance. I got a call today from the branch manager Andy who told me «you don’t know what you’re talking about. No one told you that.» My roommate was standing right next to me at the time.
I explained that I have family that work for enterprise and I am well aware of how the system works. His employee promised one thing. He told me «Fine I’ll refund the full deposit but don’t expect to rent here again» absolutely rude. Below expectations for a company that has a better rep then this.

Amazing customer service. A HUGE Thank you to Ben, Jen and Chang for helping me get a comfortable car for my long drive down to California for a family emergency. You guys really stayed positive and made the car rental experience easy. I will definitely rent a car from you again and highly recommend your store as the go to place to rent a car!

Picked up a rental this morning while my car is getting worked on. The guy that was helping me out went over everything so quickly and started saying something about paying $ 18/​day (I think for insurance?) instead of going through my insurance company. I told him I was already paying a bunch to get my car fixed and he kept arguing with me!
It was clear he wouldn’t take no for an answer, but he offered me a «special rate» of $ 12/​day. I left pretty upset that he wouldn’t listen to me at all and just wanted to make more money. Are you guys that desperate that you have to lower your customer service standards?
I also had to call in what I thought was a check engine light on my Jetta, but was told over the phone it is a tire pressure light.
Not thrilled with this company at all, and will avoid at all costs in the future.
UPDATE:
Spoke with my insurance company, and was told I do NOT need to pay for additional insurance coverage through Enterprise, as I will be covered through my company. They told me Enterprise should know better as they work with American Family quite a bit, but that they get a commission if they can convince someone to sign up for it. I’ll be going back to Enterprise to sign a waiver to remove this.

I ended up renting for one day while my car was getting work done .
3 stars for customer service & ease of reservation.
–2 stars for the type of car I ended up with– I asked for the smallest car available, I ended up getting a mini van which is all that they had that was clean & available. Im 5’2″ and a huge/​heavy minivan was extremely difficult for me to drive. Also — when I rented w/​a debit card they put an extra $ 100 deposit, and asked me a bunch of personal questions– who my employer was, 2 references, etc. I get they are trying to cover their bases, but it just seemed extremely unnecessary for a one day rental.

Great customer service. Pick drop off, upgrade and special wkend deal… they are the best rental car agency.

Just want to say thank you for going the extra mile. I had a problem with Rairdons Dodge dealership not performing the service. The representative at Enterprise was very helpful. It was just before closing when the problem occurred. The agent took me to the dealership after Enterprise was closed. Then my car was not ready and he took me back to enterprise and reopened to get me another car. I’m sure he had better things to do but he did it all with a smile on his face. I apologize but I’m writing this review weeks later and I forgot the agents name that helped me. Great job regardless.

While my car was in the shop for a blown headgasket, I found myself in need of transportation. The cool people over at Enterprise made renting a car a breeze, and gave me an upgrade when the one I’d reserved was gone.
–1 star for giving me an upgrade that was actually a downgrade in terms of gas efficiency.

I had a wonderful experience renting a car while mine was in the shop. Everyone there treated me very nicely and they were extremely efficient too. They had me in and out in no time at all. They picked me up from the repair shop and dropped me off again after I returned the car. I’m very pleased with their kind service and would definitely rent from them again! :)

I’ve had to use Enterprise through insurance; this time for my daughter. Andy is the branch manager. He’s friendly and efficient. Ryan took us to the car and he was personable and helpful. I’ve upped the rating by a star. I guess there can be good and bad days.

They were very nice and the customer service was perfect. There was some miscommunication on the price, when it was time to pay, but they remedied the situation in my favor. I would definitely use this location again, while my car is in the shop.

Ditto about the bad customer service. I booked online a car for this weekend. Enterprise is known for the pickup. So i called the Kirkland office to arrange it. However, the person whom I talked to was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. He said they couldn’t pick me up since they do not do pickups on Saturday. He also said they tried to contact me but I didn’t give my phone number, which is not true, since i see my phone number on the receipt. Maybe their ordering system doesnt send it over to them, i don’t know. I ended up cancelling the rental car.

I had a very bad customer service experience today at this location. it’s surprising to me that company like enterprise has a very poor customer service at this location. You would think that bad economy calls for better customer service but I guess enterprise doesn’t care about losing customer’s travel at less two times a month and I will never ever go back to enterprise.
