I went here expecting a healthy drink, maybe thats my problem. Putting ice-cream, energy drink shots, or whatever into a fruit drink makes it more of a smoothie or a treat instead of being a fruit drink. I had bought a juicer and have been making my own pure fruit drinks, I was wanting break so I stopped in. I suppose it’s just not any comparison for the real thing. The staff was nice and helpful, I just was expecting a healthy drink especially since this location is attached to the hospital. I’m sure if you love ice-cream smoothies and such you’ll like it here.

This is the first review that I ever wrote and I had to write a review for this place because this is the worst fast-food restaurant I had ever gone to. I strongly recommended everyone NOT to go to this place, or you’ll be just as disappointed as I am right now. So my brother and I were thinking of where to go for dinner on a Friday night and we decided to try this place because its right next to our apartment and I saw some reviews that said they have smoothies that’re better than Jamba juice. It turned out that this place has super expensive sandwiches, for 5 dollars you can get a foot long sandwich at Subway, but at this place, for $ 5.99 you get a half-foot long sandwich with a piece of ham and 2 pieces of onions in it(I am not exaggerating). And their smoothies suck! I cannot believe that a smoothie with strawberries, banana and pineapple could taste so bad, taste exactly like those cherries flavor medicines… I had a few sips but couldn’t stand the taste, its basically a mixture of syrup and powder and ice, no real fruit or anything(not that I could taste of). And they are VERY expensive too, I would say jamba juice is a million times better, at least they use frozen fruits… The worst part of this place is, they have super BAD customer service, I couldn’t believe that there could be such bad customer service nowadays! I paid 20 dollars for bad food and bad service, I had to work for 2 hours just to earn 20 buck and there goes the money… I had never received such bad customer service in my life, it’s like that girl didn’t even pay any respect to me and my brother as a customer. Not to mention that we are really the people who are paying her paychecks. I would never ever go to this place again, so disappointed at their workers.

In short — Avoid this place at all cost Horrible customer service(don’t even want to mention the detail, you know how to define the word HORRIBLE) Thier so-called smoothies are disgusting syrup mixed and blended with ice(taste like chewing gum, no joke, and at some point some dude on the YP review section stated this place is better than Jamba Juice, he must be on crack) and the food? I don’t even want to talk about it … I see no reason why am I paying 6.99 for a so-called«regular» size wrap(you won’t believe how tiny it is…), which in Subway I can get a foot-long for 5 bucks This place DOES not provide food with a reasonable quality and quantity and FFS this girl has to learn some manner to talk to customers

I love froots! Such yummy, fresh food and smoothies! A great place to go on your lunch break if you are in the totem lake area. The girls that work there are all so friendly and prompt. I am always greeted right when I walk in! Good job froots!

Not at all a bad place to go – they have good food and, as a bonus, there’s a Tully’s inside this location. Working close by, it’s nice to be able to phone-in an order and then walk over and get it, because sometimes they get backed up and it takes a while to get your food. The employees are pretty nice – the one problem I have is with the owner. One day, I went in there, and he went full-on sales pitch on me. It was really overwhelming. I felt like he was trying to sell me a used car or something. He was very pushy, but you could tell that he at least was genuine. His behavior kind of turned me off to the place for awhile. I’ve been back a few times, and he’s been there, but it’s like he’s a different guy altogether. He’s gloomy, short, kind of rude, and he gave me an even worse vibe than his all-out sales pitch. I don’t know why his behavior bothered me so much, but it does prevent me from heading over there more often. I like the food, and it’s not super pricey, but when the guy on the other side of the registers stares daggers at you, it’s kind of hard to get excited about going. I know everyone has their personal demons, but I think his is hurting his buisness, which is a shame.

Quick service healthy* food — wraps, smoothies, paninis, etc. Reasonable prices and frequent coupons in mailers and at — also accepts Passport/PrimeCard(20% off and/or buy-one-get-one-free type deals) My turkey wrap was great as was the strawberry smoothie(free with a coupon) — my total was 7 bucks. Right south of Evergreen Hospital in the DeYoung Pavilion building. *healthy meaning less preservatives in the meats and things like that
