Jerry Woodfield, DVM

Dr. Woodfield is an amazing cardiologist and has been wonderful to work with. My Shiba Inu, Petey, was diagnosed with a heart problem a year ago. Dr. Woodfield gave me straightforward explanations and gave me hope that it wasn’t a death sentence for him. I cried the entire time in the office and he even handed me the Kleenex! :) We will be seeing him again soon and I know that he will take excellent care of Petey again this time. Can’t say enough about how great he is and how much he loves and takes care of pets with heart conditions.

Dr. Woodfield has literally been a lifesaver for my Labrador Retriever, Lucy. Diagnosed with a heart condition at 5 months of age, her previous owners gave her up and I ended up adopting her. Other veterinarians said she would not live to see her first birthday and that she should be euthanized despite the fact that she was an otherwise happy, healthy, playful puppy. Dr. Woodfield examined her and gave us hope saying that he had seen dogs with her condition live to 6 or 7 years of age. Earlier this month, Lucy turned 6 years old. I absolutely, completely, credit Dr. Woodfield for this happening. I am certain that without the EXCELLENT care of this Board-​Certified Cardiologist, Lucy would not still be with us today.
Dr. Woodfield continues to help us manage Lucy’s heart condition, and has gone above and beyond to help us in times of concern. As a client, I cannot recommend him enough. And also, as a veterinary assistant myself, I can only offer double the praise. I have on numerous occasions seen him provide excellent care to other patients as well.

I take my cat to Dr. Woodfield for his echocardiograms. My cat has HCM and I have total trust in Dr. Woodfield. He is a very kind and caring vet cardiologist.
