He was wonderful! I’ve had two dents on my fairly new car for 6 months because I didn’t want to spend the $ 1000+ to fix them and be flagged me down on the freeway and offered to fix them. We got off the freeway together and he fixed the dents in 15 minutes for an incredible price!
Dents fully came out and car looks great. Great customer service!

John was very helpful when our rental got a ding in it. The auto body shop wanted $ 830 to fix it and John gave us the estimate of $ 300 and he can come to you. Very friendly and fast. Got it done in less than 45 min! Def recommended

John is simply the best. He completed the repair on my vehicle (3 door dings) for a reasonable price in a fast and efficient manner. He even provided some touch up paint to complete the job. I highly recommend John. I had a small dent in the door of my Challenger, John met me at a convenient location, explained the process and went to work. He is very polite and professional. The work he did was excellent! Not a trace of the dent is left. He is a craftsman and quick, efficient and nice.

I used Unilocal to find a business that could come to my house and get a dent out of our black Mercedes Benz (a ladder fell on the car in the garage — oops).
Based on John’s reviews here on Unilocal,I called him. He requested that I send him some pictures of the dent, so I did. Based on the pictures he quoted me $ 325, which I thought was very reasonable. We set an appointment the following week based on our schedules.
John is not only one of the nicest people I have ever met, he is a true professional and craftsman. John showed up on time at my house, and went straight to work. When he was done, you literally could not tell where the big dent had been. Amazing, amazing work!

Wow! Super talented guy. Took several dings out of my wife’s Lexus. John mentioned to me that the tools to remove dents are fairly inexpensive so there are a lot of inexperienced and unskilled dent removal businesses out there that do poor work. He’s been in the business for a long time so he is a master of his craft. Wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend him for Ford’s to Ferrari’s.

One word — awesome! Called John in the morning and he came to my house after hours to accommodate my work schedule. He pulled out two dings in my Lexus RX (thank you to the jerk in Whole Foods parking lot who dinged my car and ran) and one on my husband’s Lexus IS. Took him about 30 – 40 minutes. Super fast! Amazing results! No dings! Would highly recommend him and use him again.

John is not only a meticulous craftsman, he’s a nice guy. He’s been doing this for a very long time and watching him work is fascinating. He studies the surface for even the smallest imperfection. I had a dent near the crease line in my black BMW. It was ugly and difficult to fix. I had an estimate of $ 800 to get it fixed by a body shop which would have meant leaving my car for a few days while they pulled the dent, put in some bondo and repainted it. He saved me $ 500!!! Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Had a 4 inch dent on my rear passenger side door right on a crease. Talked to a couple other PDR shops who couldn’t promise they could get it 100% back to normal, and couldn’t fix it before I was going to sell the car. John scheduled me in immediately, had the best price, and did such a good job you could not tell there was ever a dent in that door. I was incredibly satisfied with his results and will be going to him in the future.

I had a nasty dent in the side of my 2011 Sprinter van thanks to a mall parking lot hit-​and-​run. John took a look at it, told me that he probably couldn’t get it out without the paint cracking, then spent 15 minutes brainstorming other options with me. Super friendly and knowledgeable, and took time out of his day to talk through the options and repair process with somebody he’d just said he couldn’t help. John knows his stuff, knows exactly what his process can and can’t do, and is totally upfront about it. This time the dent couldn’t be fixed without painting, but I’m absolutely going back to John the next time I get a ding.

John took a terrible situation and turned it into a positive one. I had gone to an auto body shop and they said that I would need a whole new door because the dent was so deep. That was going to cost me about $ 2k and that didn’t count the amount of time I’d have to rent a car. John asked me to come over to just see if he could do anything about my rather large dent. He used his super high tech tool to pop out the two major spots and it was already 90% better, the window could now roll down and the door lock would easily engage. He did mention that we got lucky with this one because the body was flexible and in a «good» spot. He was able to get it out and I truly can’t tell unless I look *VERY* hard.

John in one word — is superb. He not only fixed the dings I knew about but others that I hadn’t discovered. He is very friendly to talk to and did a great job. I’d recommend him any day. His pricing was competitive with others I talked to.

Called up John two days ago to look at a nasty door ding on my Audi. He called me back yesterday and fit me in between appointments. Fixed the door ding and two others that I hadn’t even noticed (yet). John is an artist at pushing dents out, and just generally a nice guy. I recommend him without reservation.

I selected John because of favorable reviews on Unilocal and it really worked out well. I had a $ 1,500 estimate on a dent/​scrape from a body shop on a 11 year old luxury car. John got it so in looked almost perfect/​not obvioulsy raunchy anymore for $ 325 — just what I wanted. Plus he rose the the occasion, went and bought a big buffer pad and fixed a subsequent car-​length scar that I had put in for an another hundred bucks and gave me a lot of other good advice and knowlegable recommendations on car-​related aesthetics. Good customer experience.

John was friendly, and responds through phonecalls and texts. His service is a wonderful alternative to body shop repair. I had a combination of scrapes and a dent. A local body shop quoted me $ 730 and a mobile scratch/​dent repair service quoted me $ 650. After much research, I decided to call John to fix the dent, and to do a home repair on the scratches using touch up paint and a Quixx kit. He found another small door ding and my total cost was about $ 300 for TWO dent repairs. He came out to my office and fixed it over lunch! My beloved car would have sat all day in a body shop to fill in the dents and refinish the paint. Now it looks good as new. No wobble in the reflection!

I needed to get a small dent taken out of my car (fortunately I caught the dent-​maker) so I took it to a couple of body shops around town. The quotes came in between $ 400 – 600 (yeah, I could’ve stuck it to the people who dented the car but I’m nice and thought that was a crazy amount of money to fix a little dent). Fortunately, one of the shops suggested that I look into paintless dent repair. I called around and was referred by a different body shop to John the Dent Guy.
I spoke with him briefly on the phone and he had me send him some pictures. A few minutes after emailing him a couple of photos, he came back with an estimate of $ 150, +/​-​$ 20. A few hours later, he was at my house with an actual quote of $ 125 + tax. He took the dent out in no time and it looks good as new!
The Dent Guy came to me (in Seattle) but according to his website he serves Seattle and the Eastside.
John was very friendly and professional and worked quickly. I don’t wish a dent upon anyone’s car but if you have one that you need taken out, give him a call.
