Grass Lawn Community Park

Very nice park with soccer field, basketball court, tennis court and even a kids water area and regular play area. Large grassy areas and also a covered area that you can reserve for private parties. A very well maintained area with little trails around.
There are two different parking area, one off of 148^th st and the other from Old Redmond Road. During soccer games, both parking lots fill up and everyone starts parking in the residential area. Other than that, there should be enough parking for everyone.
My puppy and I had a nice time walking and hanging out around here.
Next time I’ll check out the women’s bathroom as other reviews say it’s a clean area.

I love this park, and so does my daughter! It has two beautiful playgrounds and lots of paths to ride little bikes. Plus, is so close to home. Every time we can, we go and have fun there!

Although I was only here for about an hour or less, I was impressed by what I saw! I happened to drive by it one day on my way to Redmond and heard about it from some people, so I decided to run here after work to check it out. Very clean park with a playground and a small water area, two baseball fields, tons of tennis courts as well as a wall you can hit on, soccer field and grass field perfect for picnics and playtime! I guess sometimes vendors will come by sometimes to promote their business, Shoes-​n-​Feet and a chiropractic clinic were just packing up when I got there. I can tell it gets busy here, especially since all of the tennis courts were taken and there were people waiting! I have yet to park here or use their bathrooms, but I read that there’s a fair amount of parking and the bathrooms are clean. Hoping that’s true for the next time I come here, definitely want to bring friends next time to show them around!

Awesome local park with tons of multi-​use turf fields, a playground, gravel walking trails, tennis courts, actual bathrooms, and basketball hoops.
The turf is well-​maintained and still springy. Typically all of the fields are taken over by soccer players, but I have also seen lacrosse and softball set up out here.
The best part? Clean bathrooms. With hot water, soap, and paper towels to dry your hands. This is so huge for a park with so many people coming in and out of it. Women’s bathrooms are always clean and well maintained.
Actual grass field coming in from the parking lot is typically a soupy-​muddy mess, so stick to the paved paths for walking.

Our daughter loves coming here. She always makes a friend and has a blast on the various park equipment.

Grass lawn park! This is THE PLACE our family visits atleast twice a week… Couple good facts abt this park:
1) great running track in soccer field — it feels like having layers of rubber as cushion… The soccer ground which is towards southwest of the park…
2) great for summer party’s… We did my daughters birthday party and the guests response was great…
3) Great play area for kids
4). Very well maintained grounds — soccer, baseball & tennis.

Went to this park to shoot around with my boyfriend, arrived with kids having their practice, and families playing in the water fountains and huge areas to relax in, I have to say this is one of the nicest parks I’ve ever seen, but the basketball flooring is weird. Makes the ball bounce at an angel

This is kiddo’s favorite park. The kids area is something else with distinct play structures for all ageS. She has been going there since she was one year old and still asks to be there every chance she gets.
The park offers plenty of grassy and picnic areas for families. There is almost always a softball, soccer, or tennis game you can watch.
Parking is difficult, not not impossible with a little bit of patience.

This park has everything for the sports junkie. Baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, an amazing soccer field with brand new FieldTurf. Fantastic park.

This is the best park for kids in the greater Seattle area. I bring my toddler here a lot.

I heart Grass Lawn. My dog loves coming here too. Every time we pass by, her little tail wags as if she’s recounting all her happy memories at the park. It is impeccably maintained and always has some kind of organized sport happening. If I had a park like this in my neighborhood growing up, maybe I would’ve played a sport or two… The park has 7 – 8 tennis courts, baseball field, soccer field, an extra large field that can accommodate any sport, basketball court, water fountain play area, jungle gyms and separate play area for smaller children, an awesome play area for bigger kids, another jungle gym and finally a BBQ area with a gazebo. Seriously, an award deserving park. A+++ thanks, Redmond!

Love this park i have been going since i was a kid! There are different areas for kids to play throughout the park 2 parking lots huge fields and places to bbq and relax and the best part now is the remodeled sports area (tennis courts, baseball fields) and there is always some slow pitch league, city league playing on the weekend so if you are in to watching some local games this is the place to go!

This place is fantastic. Lots of play structures for all ages. There are two parking lots that can accommodate a large volume of visitors. I’ve been there when it has been very busy and I’ve always managed to find parking.
Bathroom: SO clean. Love it!

Not only is this the best park in Redmond (by far), but it’s the best park on the whole eastside, hands down. My family has been going to Grasslawn for years, before it was revamped and remodelled about 4 years ago. As it is now, it’s a park paradise, the «gold standard» of parks. Let me describe why:
First, there are 3 separate areas for the kids to play, and the play apparatus and facilities and amenities are age-​appropriate for very young toddlers, up to teens. So you needn’t worry about 14 year olds playing more roughly with your 2 year old, as the kids stay in thier more-​age appropriate area (for the most part). For the very young set, there is a ground level water play area, where waters shoots up from the ground and it is semi-​controlled by the kids themselves by touching a pole. There is a carousel and big, plastic «disc» swings. There are climb-​through «logs» with cut-​out holes with big plastic racoons on top (ideal for cute photo shoots!).
For older kids, there is a HUGE play area with climbing apparatus, suspended walkways and rubber-​tire hammocks and plastic-​pipe slides. I’m talking, huge and high! Plus swings. Plus a sandbox. Plus ladders, ropes to scale, and all sorts of climbing/​swinging stuff. This area is very large, and on sunny days, it’s very busy.
There’s another area with a huge, large climbing dome structure, set apart in a field.
There are three or four separate climbing rocks, for different stages of climbing abilities.
There are plenty of sport fields (baseball diamonds and soccer fields), picnic tables, a bathroom, and a beautiful meeting building that you can rent out for events. This building has a huge garage-​door wall that can be totally opened up, and it’s very «lodge-​like» in its overall aesthetics.
The park has lovely sculptures and ample drinking fountains, too, as well as lighting for night games. The only drawback is, in the summer months, there often isn’t enough parking for everyone. So be sure to go early! It’s definately worth it.

Very nice park and so close to home! I took my 10 month-​old son today and he loved it. We tried out the baby swing. I can’t wait for him to get older so he can play around with other kids.
The park is usually very crowded during the summer especially on the weekends so I try to go during the week. There’s also a path so I’ll stroller him around sometimes. Plenty of grass to play on, benches to sit at, playgrounds to play on… overall it’s a great park with plenty to do!

Took the kiddos to this park for the first time, and it’s a pretty great park. They have different fields of play area where there’s swings, slides, rope bridges, little rock climb, sandboxes, etc a couple of soccer fields, softball dugout fields, tennis courts, some covered/​uncovered picnic areas, plenty of benches, lots of shade…
We didn’t feel the play area was overwhelmed with kids/​parents, and my kids got a chance to play with most of the equipment without kids who tend to hog everything and rude ass parents who don’t seem to know how to teach their kids manners, like the one in Bellevue Park in downtown.
We’ll definitely come back.

Lots of sports fields and play fields, and whenever the weather is nice, the soccer moms and little league moms clog the parking lot with their minivans and SUVs. The facilities are nice, and well-​maintained. It’s a nice, green, neighborhoody spot to come read a book and relax (or pack up your lunch picnic style) when the weather is good. Very glad this place is here. They’re really making sure the kid sports leagues have a venue.
