Juanita Creek Dentistry

We love Dr. Coluccio and staff! My whole family (6 in all) are patients of hers. This is a new location for her and we would follow her anywhere. I would and have recommended her to anybody and everybody. Dr. Coluccio and her staff are always professional, caring and so friendly. While no one really enjoys a dental procedure, I truly enjoy Dr. Coluccio and all of her staff.

Completely love this dentist and her staff! I’m so glad that I landed at Juanita Creek Dentistry and met Dr, Rose.
Last Holiday Season, my family and I were in the Seattle area on a family vacation when I (of course) had a major dental emergency. I called for an emergency appointment and landed at Juanita Creek Dentistry.
Dr. Rose took so much time to explain what was going on with my teeth (so even I could understand it), what needed to be done, how much it would cost, gave me options, etc., etc. Not only that, her staff worked with my insurance and my dentist back home to work out a schedule I could live with.
Next spring, I’m going to be back in the Seattle area, and I’m going back to her for some follow up cosmetic work.
Thanks so much for giving me my smile back Dr. Rose, Randie and the entire staff of Juanita Creek Dentistry.

Agree with one of the previous reviewer. She recommended a lot more dental work than I need as compared to consulting with other dentist. The charge is quite expensive. Especially I have to visit her the second time for one cavity filling because it gave me a lot of pain. But she told me she found another cavity in the adjacent tooth which she did not mention in the exam just a month ago. So I ended up paying for 2 cavity filling. Almost forgot to tell about my experience with the hygenist. She recommended a special cleaning procedure to make my teeth very clean. (it was unltrasonic or something). I had a terrible headache from it after I got home. Since I take care of my teeth pretty well by brushing and flossing every day, I really didn’t need it.

I never thought I would write a review for a dentist but given the negative reviews I almost feel a need to defend them. My husband and I both go here and have had wonderful experiences with all the staff.
Hygienist — Very professional, always the same woman and she not only does a thorough amazing job but is nice, remembers me and my teeth and she LISTENS. I went for a deep cleaning (I REALLY needed it) and after she injected me with local anesthesia I hated it so much we did the rest of the mouth without it. Why do I mention this? Because I felt every single prick and scrape and can tell you she is amazing, not clumsy at all. She listened to my body language and would ask me if I needed a break just when it was getting to be too much. After the deep clean session she explained to me in detail how to take care of my teeth. No other hygienest has ever taken the time to do this. Oh and the gums were back to normal in hours after the deep cleaning, days or weeks as has been the case for me at other dentists.
Insurance — I have excellent insurance (I am so grateful for this) and they have only done procedures that were necessary. No «Extra» ex-​rays. They keep increasing the number of months between cleanings as the teeth look better and better and they give me a TON of free dental care goods such as toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, picks etc. They also did the deep clean in two sessions instead of the four another dentist suggested when I called around.
Dentist — She is soft spoken and courteous. She does not force anything on you but she is knowledgeable and she cares enough about her patients to remember what you told her last time, or she takes great notes and reads them before she sees you. Either way, one of the kindest, gentlest dentists I have been too.
Procedures — My husband had his wisdom teeth pulled and a cavity filled. Both procedures went very well and he recovered quickly. He got all «weird» on the laughing gas and thought he was dead and the staff were really comforting and helpful during that experience. He recovered from the extractions in a few days with very little pain medication and then only advil.
Overall, if you are someone who likes being informed about what is going on during your cleaning, who needs to learn how to better care for your teeth and who wants a knowledgeable dentist and stellar staff this is a great dentist. My only complaint is that they don’t have bubble gum flavored floride ;)

I have to disagree with the previous reviewers. Dr. Kirovski has been my dentist for four years and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with her and her staff.
The staff at the practice is competent and professional. They always send me reminders about my next appointment and are very accommodating when I need to reschedule.
At times I’m confused by the dentist-​speak, but the staff are always happy to clarify and explain to me in detail (with diagrams!) about procedures and the health of my teeth.
I’m not sure what the other reviewers meant by clumsy and not confident as I’ve never had such an experience.

I agree with the previous statements about being clumsy and not confident.
I had cavities filled here, they were painful for 6+ mos. afterwards and felt rough on the surface. The work was not very professional feeling and they have substitute assistants come in so they don’t know how to work together not to mention that their mannerisms are just poor for carrying out such intimate procedures (they’re messing with YOUR teeth).
All in all I skipped going to a dentist for almost 2 years because of the feeling that this experience left me with.

Clumsy is the word that comes to mind when I think about the Dr Kirovski. She is not confident and it is very obvious. Try at your own risk.
And by the way, this clinic boasts to be conservative but as soon as find they find out about the insurance coverage they try to make the most out of it.
