I went there to meet a friend for apps & drinks. 1st I ordered a drink that requires 3 different liquors, the bartender made NOTHING like the drink and I asked him to remake it. He refused and still didn’t take it off my bill. The bathroom(toilet) looked like someone got sick in it, so I mentioned it to him, and he shrugged it off and said«Not my problem.» Ok– maybe a «Thanks for the heads up, I’ll let someone.» When we went out for a cigarette, I literally saw a small rat or large mouse run up along the outside wall towards the kitchen area. Yep… didn’t finish my fries when I went back in. When they gave us the bill, he OVER charged us by $ 52. When my friends asked him to fix it, he still over charged us $ 22 but when I tipped him(because I dont know why, I just felt bad for him because he works in a dump like this, maybe that’s why he acts likes this), he looked at me and said«$ 10…that’s it?» Why a smirk on his face. SO, I’ve been there 3 – 4 times before that… and won’t go again. I can say that. There are plenty more places around here with much better service and cleaner environment than this!

Do you like going to «pubs» where 21 year old jerkoff kids go to black out and cant hold their liquor? Are you 30 and still go to High School parties? Then this is the place for you! The handful of times ive been, it seems like the scum of Kirkland/Juanita always flock here. Every dude in this place is your typical Kirkland douche bag… Fireball drinkin, flannel wearin, beer muscle asshole that will puke and piss all over your bathroom floor. Most of the females ive encountered here are usually blacked out trash cans that try to twerk/dance, while spending daddy’s money and buying all the fireball shots. In my opinion, this place is pretty much a ghetto, Kirkland/Juanita version of «Jersey Shore»… The only positive is their food, ill give them that. The food is pretty damn good. Just your typical bar food, but its consistent. Get the Totchos(tater tot nachos). SOLID. Anyways, long story short, this place sucks. Go to Bishops around the corner. WAY better people and better vibes.

It’s a dive bar. It’s not a great bar nor is it a bad place. It is exactly what it is. The food was alright. I really liked the natural cut fries, but the chicken strips were some Tyson frozen chicken strips. The inside was way too dark for a nice day, but luckily they have plenty of outdoor seating.

The quintessential neighborhood dive. Nothing particular special, but a relaxed atmosphere and you know what you’re going to get-a pub. Highlights: summer time horseshoes out back, large outdoor patio for summer, and HALFPRICE Sunday and Wednesday nights from 9 pm on! Cons: I didn’t have high expectations for the food, since I usually get just drinks here, but the two times I’ve ordered something besides their nachos I was sick for the rest of the night. Service is also a hit or miss, often times a miss.

I’ve been going to Juanita pub(Jpub) ever since i turned 21… I am 25 now and have definitely grown out of this scene. Its your typical dive bar. I normally would only go on Wednesday and Sunday nights since it is half off your tab night. My friends and I never had any problems here. I haven’t been for awhile but still will go on occasion. I do really like the staff here, some better than others. The good thing about them is yeah sometimes service can be slow, but they get to you as soon as possible. You do need to keep in mind they get very packed and cannot just drop everything to make service faster for you. I’d say they do the best job that they can. The drinks are good. I’ve never had a problem with my drink being to weak. I saw some reviews that people’s drinks were short. I mean maybe sometimes that will happen but not often. I normally always order a vodka soda and let me tell you that vodka soda is amazing and strong! The food is freaking awesome!!! I love going there just to have some beers and bar food. Yeah, its not food you would want to be serving to your family. Their wings are super good and i even get them plain and dip them in ranch!!! The wings are not the only thing that are good there. Basically their whole menu is pretty good. I definitely recommend their bar food. There are only two problems that i have with Jpub… One, their bathrooms are pretty foul… Every time i use the restroom i am basically holding my nose the whole time! DONOT i repeat do not sit on the toilets. Use toilet seat covers every time!!! Second, never get on their bad side. I have had a lot of friends 86’d from this place. Some deserved it but some did«something» out of their control and still are banned from this bar. Overall i do like Jpub and still will come here but not as often as I have in the past. Maybe for seahawks games but i just can’t do the Sunday & Wednesday thing anymore!

Location: Serves the Juanita community well. Walkable for most residence in Juanita area with minimal options for dive bars. Atmosphere: Good on Seahawks games, lots of TV’s and projectors. Any other day, go elsewhere. Food: Did not try but based on sites, would probably stick to the deep fryer and not trust anything that should be properly cooked. Drinks: Pathetic when measured by hard alcohol drinks. When ordering just straight double vodka on the rocks they use a tiny glass. Thinking maybe the small glass and ice was working against me, with my next drink, I ordered neat. Upon first sight I asked the waitress if this was really a double, she confirmed, I was shocked. See picture. After my third Titos vodka, I was out $ 27 and left for Bishops up the street. Stick to beer here, even so, not a good deal on that end. Plus they change their menu frequently so regulars can’t keep up with what the deals are, buyer beware. Service: Employees need to remember they are in the service industry, positive attitude is preferred. Last thing that I need to know is how long they have been on the clock, how many people have quit this week, and seeing them spend more time on their phone when I am in need of a new cocktail. Overall. I will be back due to limited options within walking distance of the area, but will proceed with a plan. The plan will involve Bishops. If ownership reads this review, contact me, would love to discuss my experience further.

First time coming here on a Sunday it was pretty live. After 9 o clock it becomes happy hour and its suppose to be half off on everything, and the prices are already cheap to begin with! I had the tater tacho’s(i actually forgot the real name of the dish was lol) which were really good especially when you are already buzzing and have the drunken munchies. The Tot’s came with meat on top with cheese and sour cream and all that good stuff, they were delicious. There is a lot of available seating and tables, they also have pool tables and even had a beer pong tournament going on. I would definitely come back here whenever I am in need a drink or some bar food on a Sunday night!

They kicked my girl out. Said she was fucked up after we had one shot and went and smoked in the parking lot. She moved for a guy as he was coming out the door and they said she couldn’t come in like something had happened but she was not drunk at all. The guy who she moved for saw us leaving and was, «like what the fuck!?» When he saw us leaving and we explained it to him… I don’t usually swear or even write swear words on things like this but I, as well, am «like, what the fuck???»

Most fun at a low key local bar that we’ve had in awhile. Beer pong. Huge jenga. Pool tables. What’s not to love?

Cool bar, great staff! My issue is tonight, my buddy and I hung out cause they were supposed to have karaōke at 9 as advertised. 10:15 came around and it hadn’t started yet so we left. The drinks were good and the wait staff was fantastic. Just a bummer they aren’t on schedule.

Juanita Pub had great sandwiches and the pub feel, lots of gaming going on. Good Beer Selection.

I’m a little biased because this place has kept me up every single night since we’ve moved. I guess it’s not their fault that they are super noisy pub with a backyard patio right across the creek from our apartment. From the noise, it sounds like a very popular place. We finally escaped our children one afternoon and decided to see what the noise was about. Because it was 4pm and hot, the place was very quiet. There were people sitting at the bar and at a couple of booths. We chose a booth but this may have been a mistake. It took quite a while for anybody to come over. Once they did, they were super chill and took our orders. And it did take us a while to choose exactly what we wanted. Once we ordered, it took an even longer time for the drinks to make their way to the table. We almost got up and left(on the clock with the kids you know), but my husband spied the drinks sitting on the bar and went and got them himself. LOL. Drinks were $ 8 for standard cocktails, but I suppose that isn’t considered pricey anymore. And they weren’t running any specials. The drinks were pretty good. Not amazing and not super strong, but ok. Now we’ve seen it for ourselves, we prefer Bishop’s Ale house. They seemed to have more local beer/cider on tap. And service was better although to be fair we did sit at the bar there.

This place is great! Yea, it’s divey and loud, but it’s exactly what you would expect for a sports bar/pub. If you’re looking for high end and fancy, then look elsewhere. But if you want good greasy bar food, cheap drinks and just somewhere you can show up in casual comfy clothes, you’ve hit the jackpot! There is tons of seating, friendly service and their burgers are massive and delicious. Their hot wings are crazy spicy and awesome. Food isn’t cheap, but it isn’t ridiculously expensive either. Best part is that they show the UFC fights, for free! No cover! That’s almost unheard of anywhere now days. I’m a Bloody Mary snob and they’ve also got spicy, tasty bloodies here. Wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time!

The bartenders don’t even know how to make a black opal and other simple drinks but great for beer! ½ off everything after 9pm on Wednesdays and Sunday’s.

Your eyes do not deceive you… this is a 5-star review. Juanita Pub is exactly what it should be– a sticky, noisy, fun non pretentious pub. Whenever I see chics drinking wine here I have to have a laugh. J-pub is not really a sophisticated wine drinking kind of place. But there are options if that’s your go to drink. I prefer their awesome Moscow Mules for about $ 6! Bar staff is fast and friendly. What’s not to love? Beer and cocktails are cheap and the bar food is grub. Add in some massive Jenga blocks(all written on and heavily used, which is added entertainment) and some beer pong and you’ve got yourself a fun night out. Birthday parties and Seahawks games — done and done.

Bomb ass tater tots XD. Haven’t been there for a while but I’m pretty sure they need a dance floor where the jenga and beer pong table are. Then it would be like… walk down the ramp and boom your on the dance floor dancing. The smoking area out back is a cool part of the place too.

Juanita Pub, formerly known as Juanita Bay Pub(J-Bay), is a decent spot to hang out most nights. The food is quite pricey for the kind of place it is, but the food can be quite good(and almost properly portioned for the price). The drinks are good, sadly they got rid of a cool random drinks wheel that could land you great stuff for $ 5(or just water). With pool tables, big-block jenga and water-pong tables indoor, there’s plenty to do. In the warmer months, check out the horse-shoe pits(they’re free, just need a license to take a bucket of shoes to play with). Wednesday & Sunday nights are ½ tab(9pm-close), Thursdays are karaōke(Tuesdays are added during May-October months I believe). I like J-Pub, but it’s nothing special unless you live close.

J pub is an awesome place I don’t see why people are always ragging on it. It’s better then most bars on the east side … They got fun games and the tachos(tatter tot nachos) are out of this world good… Yeah it’s a little loud but it’s a bar get over it. At least here you can actually socialize with people rather than standing in an overcrowded place shouting at someone two inches from your face

Oh J Pub, the shining jewel of pubs within walking distance from my house. Where to begin with this gem? You want food? Oh they have food. There’s bad bar food and then there’s bad bar food. This is bad bar food — but bad in the sense that you know you shouldn’t be eating it, but you just have to keep shoving it into your gaping maw. Can’t stop wont stop! If you’re into day drinking or morning drinking, check out the breakfast burrito. Oh my, yes. You want drinks? Oh they have drinks. They don’t have anything fancy. But, really? Come on, you knew what this was and they know why you’re there. You’re there for alcohol, pool, beer pong, and giant drinking jenga. Basically you just want to get the liquor into you liver, so why mess around? Try your luck at the Wheel Of Shots, or just enjoy a nice draft beer — of which they do have a nice selection. Watch out for those Chivers though, they can be pretty cool.

Cool bar. My husband and I came here to watch the Seahawks game on Sunday. We got here about 45 minutes before the game. We were able to snag one of the last open tables. There weren’t many tables for smaller parties(football party of two, wah wah), but larger tables for bigger groups, which is cool — if you’re in a group. We were smashed in a small two top in the back. It wasn’t really a huge deal and I was glad we got a seat. Service was good, servers were attentive and quick even though it was a busy game day. We got our cheesy tater tots really fast. It was a huge order. They were yummy. OH, and it was Bloody Mary Sunday, so they had a Blood Mary bar. The husband indulged in a few Mary’s with bacon, olives and salami, a whole meal. Many TV’s to watch the games on, pretty spacious, good for groups. Ample street parking(small lot, I avoid it).
