I used
for dog boarding at my home. Unfortunately when I tried to sign up with my credit card it declined. I let my sitter know and she said writing a check was fine. Never got an email or any response that my card was actually accepted. Therefore I paid by check. Which was cashed. And apparently also paid by card. Never received confirmation of that either. It just says you booked a stay. So of course now the sitter j used is not responding. When I called rover they stated that’s the only way to get my money back. To have the sitter call them.
So, unfortunately I am not using again. It was a last resort to have my animals taken care of anyway. Hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Finding the right place to board your dog can be stressful. The last thing I wanted to do was leave my pup locked up in a kennel for days — she needs affection and cozy living. Luckily, Rover was there to help me find warm, loving homes for her to stay at. The entire process was easy, streamlined, and the app was really helpful. From now on I will definitely be using Rover to fulfill my dog boarding needs!

I originally signed up for
when I needed to sit my dog for a few weekends while out of town. It was a great experience and soon enough I was trying different sitters for different situations. Its such an easy system! Soon enough I realized that since I work from home maybe I could start sitting dogs myself since my dog could use a playmate during the day while I work. This is now my 2^nd month on Rover as a sitter and I’m currently sitting my 6^th dog! Such a great and easy extra income and owners love it when you’re with their dog all day long! And I don’t have to do any advertising besides set up my profile! The good reviews speak for themselves:)

Have used this website multiple times for stays for my pup. The website is user-friendly and lets me enter a lot of different. Their Iphone app is not very good. I love how this website connects me to my neighbors interested in taking my pup in for stays because I don’t really enjoy boarding my pup with a 100 others where he may pickup illnesses and/or bad behavior, but this is a personal preference thing. As for the stays themselves, you have tor really pay attention to the postings, and make a meet&greet visit to ensure that your host family and your pup are a fit.
