This store is just big enough to make it warm and inviting. Everything has a place and is wonderfully displayed. I feel like I’m in someone’s living room looking to see what new and interesting items I can find. What I like most is it’s not run of the mill. There’s interesting soaps I hadn’t seen before, Christmas ornaments that are exquisite and modern but bring back a sense of nostalgia, pillows with fun statements, designed jewelry, wall hangings and amazing books that you would find in boutique-type shops. There is also an upstairs with larger pieces. So glad this store exists. There’s always something new to smile about.

Such a cute shop to come and visit just to browse but certainly the place to go when you need a gift for that difficult to shop for person. With so many quirky little things to choose from there will certainly be something for everyone. I love the treasure hunt of searching the store to find the perfect gift. The staff are all great and so attentive and chatty if you want it but they leave you alone if you prefer that! The owner A is super friendly and you don’t have to go into the store too many times for him to consider you a regular and treat you like a friend.

Unique, fun, trendy and random– all the fun qualities that make shopping at Simplicity a good shopping experience. Jam packed with goodies that range from excellent gifts to larger contemporary furniture pieces and art. Every corner has trinkets and cards and jewelry. I’ve been shopping at Simplicity for years now. I always come up with an excuse to buy something new and fun. An essential and delightful Kirkland boutique.

Love this store! I live in the downtown Kirkland area and stop in about once a month. Its one of those places when you walk inside, you want to go home and redecorate! Its a great place to shop for unique gifts– they have décor and gifts in a variety of price ranges. They always have really neat furniture pieces similar to West Elm and perfectly sized for condos and apartments. It feels good shopping here knowing I am supporting a local small business, which helps keep downtown kirkland a great place to live!

They have reid diffusers. Can’t believe my luck finding the fig fragrance to replace the ilio brand that no longer exists. I love that fig fragrance in my home. Bought two containers but the downside is that they want you to purchase the reids that diffuse the scent. Not like the diffuser oil wasn’t cheap or anything because here. it was spendy. The least they could do is give some free reids with the purchase. That shows me how they do business. I don’t like that much. They are making the money here seeing the price tags on some of the stuff there. I can go to Pier 1 Imports and buy 2 bottles of their brand name oil for the price of one of the bottles I bought here. It is a cute shop for Kirkland. can’t argue that one. I’ve never been to the town before so it was a fun find but that’s about all I can say to sum it up. Good for window shopping now that I know how they operate.

I definitely love this shop. I stopped in when I came to visit Kirkland over two years ago and I was excited to be able to go again this week. This shop and their kid’s store front are full of a bunch of cool objects that are pretty reasonably priced. Even if you aren’t in the market for some fun knick-knacks, you can stop in and get some inspiration.

I was walking around downtown Kirkland and was surprised that I had never seen this store before. They are celebrating their 5 yr anniversary this week. If you are a huge fan, you should go as they are offering a great promotion right now. I could have spent even more time in this store, as it is full of interesting and unique items. There are so many things I wish I would have had room in my suitcase to take back to Switzerland with me. I loved the gurgling fish pottery pitchers, the stone mats, and great Bagilini travel bags. This is definitely the place to go if you are trying to find a unique gift for that one person in your life who has everything. They also have some great items for kids. I loved this store!

I have purchased about a half dozen gifts here, and really like it because it’s a great place for unusual things, and at really good prices. The staff have been super helpful and accommodating. I’ve also purchased some stuff for my house there, and get a lot of complements on table and pillows I bought from them. I wish there was a shop this nice in Seattle — as I come across the Lake to go to Simplicity. Worth the drive.

I love this little boutique. Lots of beautifully designed wood furniture pieces that are classic yet have that modern touch, pieces made of wood, glass, other natural elements like bamboo, seashells and silk cushions covers. It’s less catalog-looking but similar quality as West Elm or Crate & Barrel but has the looks to compete with Design Within Reach. There’re also little humourous items such as the knife block that looks like a little person got stabbed in the stomach, chic step-stool that’s also foldable, solar-powered radio, solar-powered little flash light for the key chain, baby items, little coffee table books, dinning sets and more. The owner A and the staffs there are very friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to shop for gifts.

Modern, sleek, simple and rich colors. This place is like Crate & Barrel meets Fireworks, with a touch of imports from Thailand. Lots of dark wood furniture and lush fabric upholstery. The owner focuses on furniture made for smaller spaces. They also carry fun games, greeting cards, prints, and accessories.
