Starbucks

Another Starbucks location for the Kirkland neighborhood. This one is small but a good place to work if you find a spot compared to he Juanita location. I typically go hear as it’s less noisy than other coffee shops near by. This location also has a drive through which is often used instead of walkers. This doesn’t have the beer and upgraded food menu so if that’s what your into then head to the Juanita location!

I been coming here regularly now… I like the staff, brandy is super nice and friendly, and coffee is good.

This has been my to go Starbucks for a year as I’m living nearby, and almost weekly I either get a wrong drink or an awfully made one and it was ok to me until today. After ordering my usual tall white mocha, I got a cup of pure milk and nothing else. It took me 15 mins in traffic to get back to them and all what I got is another awfully made drink with a cold face without a word of apology.
That’s probably will be the last one, so I thought it deserves a review

I tried to reload my Starbucks card at the drive thru. The staffer swiped my debit card three times for $ 60 instead of $ 20. The staff attempted to void some of the transactions. When I called the next day to say I’d been charged $ 20, but no credit had been issued to my Starbucks card, they directed me to their 800-​line to get rid of me; apparently the manager was off and was mad at her staff for bothering her. So, now I’ve been charged $ 20 for a credit that’s never been applied to my Starbucks card. A bunch of inept staffers. Hopefully, a district manager can help.

Went to this Starbucks with my boyfriend and was totally miss treated. The barista who served us… Her name started with a K I believe refused to make eye contact with me and only wanted to serve my boyfriend. She continued to take HIS order and waited for him to tell her mine. When she went to make my drink she proceeded to make it wrong and when handing it out gave me a dirty look and handed it to my boyfriend instead. I refuse to go here again this barista was out of line and made me feel so uncomfortable. Not a good experience definitely sticking to my regular drive threw Starbucks on 85^th.

I don’t know why every time I come here I get charged more than I do in West Seattle for 4 shots of expresso they charged me 3.01 and in West Seattle it comes up to 2.27 almost $ 1 difference also this location is usually always packed and takes forever to get your drink mine has been messed up plenty of times I only come here because I work close by and don’t have time in the morning to make my own not impressed don’t really recommend like I said unless you have to or need to

This Starbucks seems chaotic and not well-​run. For whatever reason, their chai tea drinks do not taste like all the other Starbucks. When I inquired one time, I was told they add water to their chai teas and perhaps other Starbucks don’t. What? Location is tough, no parking and drive-​up is slow compared to other Starbucks. Worth driving a few blocks down to the one at Juanita Village, but that one does not have a drive through.

I love having a SBUX so close to home. I really hate the drive thru situation, the parking situation, and the entrance. Poor planning and terrible execution in our family’s opinion. We tend to come to this one early in the morning or late evening. It’s not so bad then.

Unfortunate that this location it’s so close to my home and yet so not up to the standard I expect coming into a Starbucks location. Employees seem frazzled, everthing needs replenishing & work flow confuses patrons & partners.

Hit or miss wit the coffee here most of the time, nice staff

Ive never had any issues with this Starbucks. You know what you are getting coffee-​wise and if you don’t, give it a try. It is pretty good stuff, but I think they over-​sweeten everything that has sugary stuff in it, so you may want to ask for half the syrup. This location is a little better than the drive thru on 85^th, from my experience.
They do have a super tiny parking lot, but I never actually go in. The drive thru is fine… sometimes when it is really busy, it can be awkward, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Weirdly, the busiest time to go on the weekends is like 9:30 — 10:00am.

It’s Starbucks so you know what you’re getting but the staff is quick, friendly and professional.

I have always been a very loyal customer at Starbucks I stop there almost daily and this one particular store there is a young man who is always very rude to me. He never smiles just talks to me in a monotone voice and seems very annoyed by everything i say and its not very warm or welcoming. This stood out to me because I am used to receiving excellent customer service from Starbucks. I live right up the street from this location and I now dread going there everyday because I don’t like dealing with him.

SLOW SLOW SLOW! It was 15 minutes in drive through line. Get your act together, especially in the mornings.

I go to Starbucks more than I should and most places are great. This one, however, is one of the places I won’t go anymore. I’ve tried every few months for the last year, thinking it must be certain staff or times of the day. Nope.
In addition to a terrible drive through location, I always find myself in line for about 20 minutes. The drive through line probably holds 7 or so cars. By comparison, the Starbucks across from Home Depot a few miles away has a morning line of at least 20 cars and I’m through it in 15 minutes.
The coffee itself is hit and miss — usually miss — and they seem to be out of things a lot. The people are friendly, but the least professional of all the Starbucks I visit.
I can’t figure it out. Is this a training store or something? I’ve never been to a Starbucks with such consistently low standards.
At any rate, when I’m in the mood for coffee, I will either go to the one in Safeway (one block away) or keep driving down 100^th for about a mile and go to the one at Juanita Beach.

This parking lot + drive through + traffic light make me so anxious!!!

Pretty much status quo at this Starbucks. Place was very clean and staff was very friendly, which always makes for a great experience. The only interesting thing was there was only half & half available at the counter.
This Starbucks conveniently has a drive-​thru for those cold days where you don’t want to get out of the car, or for those individuals who seem to think it’s faster than going into the store.
Only adding the review because I found it this morning without it being listed on Unilocal,so I felt the need to add the business.
Hopefully this will help others who may not be from around here now that it’s listed on the map.

Argh why even review a Starbucks. It’s Starbucks right? I should know what I’m getting in to. The staff is super friendly and awesome, however…
All I want is a latte that isn’t too sweet that I can A) drink before baby wakes up or B) not worry if I end up spilling it on baby when he does wake up. Because of that I order a 1 pump sweetener latte and specify 120 degrees. I’m a former barista, I’ve even worked at Starbucks. I know this isn’t an unreasonable request. I know they have these fancy things called syrup pumps that portion out the syrup for them. They even have thermometers that tell them when the milk is going to sear off your tastebuds for the next week. Unfortunately 4 times now I’ve had my drink messed up. Today they even labeled it a caramel macchiatto but reassured me it was the right drink, nope.
On top of this even before I had a baby I didn’t want to wake up getting him out of the car I would end up having to use the drive through because there is no parking. It is a tiny lot and most of the spots are reserved for other businesses in the strip mall.

I love the newer employees. I get a peppermint white hot chocolate with non fat milk, iced decaf caramel macchiato with extra caramel sauce, green tea lemonade, or a vanilla bean frapp and Kevin (cute guy with glasses and blonde curlyish hair is a newer guy) and andrew (hes usually in drive through, he has brownish shorter hair, taller, and a great friendly smile has been there for a while) make the best drinks I’ve ever tasted from Starbucks.
The drive through can be hectic at times and the parking lot is very small. But if you park behind the albertsons and walk a few extra feet, the inside service is astoundingly quick.
All of the staff do a great job talking to you and keeping you busy while they quickly make your drink.
I’m a talker and I love the excellent customer service they provide at this location.

More often than not, I find myself going back roads to Kirkland because I’d rather poke my eye out with a fork than sit in morning traffic on 405. Since I drive up 100^th, this Starbucks provides an ideal location from the outside. It’s right on 100^th, it has a drive-thru…perfect, right? Wrong.
I’ve been coming here for a few years now and there is hardly ever a time where there isn’t a backup. Sure, the Starbucks on 85^th wraps their drive-​thru line around the entire building, but I spend much less time wrapped around the building at that location than I do waiting just a few feet at this location. It’s in a horrible location, so if they are running even slower than normal, there’s a nice congestion area backed right up into a busy intersection. I also agree with other reviewers in that the drinks are inconsistent. On a few occasions, I’ve ordered breakfast sandwiches just to have them cold in the middle still. Oh, and most recently they translated me asking for a soy caramel macchiato w/​extra carmel as a nonfat, extra hot caramel macchiato. I could care less about not getting the extra caramel but soy vs. nonfat? Very different things!!!
I really don’t get it. Most morning traffic is usually one, maybe two people getting their regular order, so why does it take so long?
On a few occasions I’ve though, «ok, I’ll stop complaining and get my convenience-​craving ass in the store to see if things go faster». Nope.
I’m not saying it has to be fast-​food super-​fast, but if this is a reoccurring problem, shouldn’t there be made a way to fix it?
