CASHEWMILKLATTE. On a cold day, a hot cashew milk latte is incredible. Today it’s hot, so I tried it iced and it is delicious! The staff makes the cashew milk from scratch with cashews that have soaked overnight in water and blends it with water, a touch of maple syrup and vanilla. It is lightly sweet, so I don’t ask for any added flavors. Cashew milk also makes an incredible foam! All of the disposable products are compostable. I have tried it one of their scrambled egg breakfast burritos with salsa on the side, and that was good. Everything they sell, including homemade pastries and snacks, is homemade. A friend gifted me a bag of their espresso and I thoroughly enjoyed it at home.

My favorite coffee spot — great java, great barista, and lots of super gluten free, vegan and healthy snacks. Always a super experience! Thanks Deanna, Casey and Cheryl!

We passed by this place several times while going on our walks. We finally decided to try one day after going to the grocery store. We were on foot, so we went on the walk-up side for pedestrians. We ordered an iced coffee, Dirty chai, and an English Breakfast with cashew milk. It is on the pricier side, comparable to Starbucks, but the quality is superb! They also offered our furry kids treats as well.

How have I not reviewed my favorite coffee shop! Not only do we love to drive thru, we love to walk thru! Most drive thru stands don’t have a safe place for cyclists or walkers to come to, but this place does! I love to take a walk with my kids, as I know they always have drinks to please everyone in the family. Where do I start with drinks? From the best selection of alternative milks(my fav is the cashew milk) to the yummiest, unique, not too sweet, organic syrups… I really have never gone wrong with a drink from here. If you like chocolate in your coffee, this place is a winner! They have high quality chocolate and many to choose from. On top of great coffee and many in-house treats to accompany it, the baristas are patient, invested in their work and friendly. Because of their dedication to your order, you may have to wait briefly, but the baristas are always thankful for your patience and remain calm no matter how many people are waiting.

I love the Green Beanery. The food is great and the service is as well. It’s so hard to find great coffee and great treats. I LOVE their home made almond cake. I will drive out of my way five miles just to get it. So good. Their pumpkin spice can’t be beat in the winter months too! They also have an amazing vegan version. Just wish they would bring back coconut milk egg nog this Christmas season. They didn’t have it last year.

I’m super impressed with this place. All the reviews rave about the mochas. I was a bit hesitant since most times mochas as just too sweet for me, but the barista made a recommendation and made some adjustments to make it less sweet. She made this white and dark chocolate combo mocha for me that was just perfect. The best mocha I’ve ever had. Definitely a sign of someone who is an expert if their product. I’ll be making this a regular when in the area.

This place is the best drive-thru coffee shop(or any coffee shop) I’ve ever been to. There are three other coffee shops in a 1-block radius(Starbucks, the Red Apple, and Downpour), and the coffee and extras selection is the best. For example, they have something like 5 different types of organic chocolate you can use(I’m addicted to the Oh Fudge, myself, as I find it a bit more mellow than Theo’s Dark). Their prices are pretty darned good, too(especially for an organic only joint). Their food selection is great on the days that it gets delivered(I know they get fresh scones — with actual gluten! — on Friday mornings, for example), but since I typically just get a mocha, I can’t really say when they get other things(like breakfast burritos, almond bread, etc). The walk-up window works out great for me. They alternate car/walk-up orders, so you might feel like you’re cutting in line if you walk up and they have a line of 3 cars. That said, they seem to handle the traffic well enough that I’ve never had an very long wait. They’ve got dog biscuits out there too(though I can’t comment on them, as I’ve never sampled any).

Are you a coffee lover and a real/whole food junkie?! This will be your heaven! Not only is there coffee bomb, they have amazing options to satisfy any cravings while sticking to a clean eating lifestyle. HOUSEMADE cashew milk!!! Thick, creamy and absolutely delicious! No weird ingredients and NO refined sugar. My regular drink is a double shot, cashew latte with honey and cinnamon(paleo, vegan, dairy free). Such a treat without any guilt! They have lots of other options and refreshing summer drinks as well. Staff is super sweet too and hard working. I am SO lucky this place is walking distance from my house, and also super convenient to drive thru on my way out. Side note: ordered my usual with a couple cars behind me. They couldn’t said they were out of cashew milk and I couldn’t ordered something different. Instead, they made a fresh batch of cashew milk on the spot! Love this place!

What else can I possibly add to the already fantastic reviews? The Green Beanery is the best. The menu selection is fantastic, the products and ingredients it uses are of the highest quality, prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly. This drive-through stand really go the distance with quality and being socially responsible. Deanna, the owner, is the best! Everyone come here!

Hands down the best coffee stand ever. I feel so lucky to have this place in my neighborhood! The boss cares more about quality of food(local and healthy options) then easy options, and I love how far their green impact goes, I am always happy to pay a few cents more for compostable cups and paper:)

A true gem. I actually just hopped on Unilocal,to make sure I let everyone know how much I appreciate this place. I drink a lot of coffee. I love the stuff… but it’s important to me that each cup is made well, and with quality ingredients. There are the bigger coffee shops that Seattle is known for… and then there are the boutiques. I have a short list of locally owned shops that I truly prefer… but there is only one coffee spot that can boast organic ingredients, and drive-thru. I have kids. which means I need more coffee. but also means I shy away from unbuckling and re buckling car seats. This is where the Green Beanery surpasses all others. They are by far, the best drive thru coffee you will ever come across in this city. It’s like an added bonus to the fact that they only use the best ingredients, have caring and kind baristas, well prepared drinks, and a huge menu. I can roll through here and grab the kids an organic breakfast sandwich, if we’re trying to get somewhere quickly(and early)…I can count on local, raw, organic honey… I can quiz the ladies on the ingredients in the hemp milk… or even discuss the latest raw milks! One of my favorite drinks is The Elizabeth. It’s a hemp milk yerba mate refresher – with a bit of raw local honey. No syrupy sweetness there… just good, clear energy, with clean ingredients. Hemp milk lattes with honey, are also delicious. As are black and white mochas with raw, organic milk. Just writing about this, makes me want to drive the twenty minutes that I go out of my way, to attain a little green bean!

We love this place. It’s a drive through. The staff is friendly. Coffee and milk is always organic. They offer lots of healthy food options and many gluten free ones too. They have a designated walk up window. Which is truly only for walk ups. Prices vary fair too.

Best coffee! Love how committed The Green Beanery is to local and organic products! Everything used is made from the best organic ingredients! Love their house made goodies too! Be warned, there usually is a line in the mornings, but they get through the line pretty fast because they usually have someone come outside to get the next customers order. Give them a try!

Obviously the organic and fair trade coffee and milk options are great. But their barristi are also top notch and they have a great variety of food options. Ask about their house made cashew milk, various house baked goods or quiches(I highly recommend their dunkers). They also carry Fancy Free Bakery gluten-free baked goods so if you’re looking to support two local small Kirkland businesses in one shot, that’s a great way to go. Stop by their drive-up or walk/bike-up window depending on how you get there.

Without a doubt, my fave coffee on the eastside!!! I love the variety of milk(dairy/non-dairy) options, as well as the tasty chocolate sauces and unusual syrup offerings. It’s so nice to know that no matter what delicious beverage or food option you order, it is going to have wholesome, organic ingredients. Plus the baristas are all so sweet! Tasty treats + peace of mind =green beanery magic :)

This is another place right by my house that I just refused to go to all these years because JUSTSAYNOTODRIVETHROUGHCOFFEESTANDS. So the same friend who told me to give Down Pour a try then told me I MUST go here. She raved about it but really, she had me at «They use Theo chocolate» and«organic». This is a person who has never steered me wrong so I stopped by this morning. And again — OHMYGOD. I had no idea! I had no idea all the fun«trimmings» they have(drink trimmings, that is) and that it was so adorable. I always thought, from afar, that it was some bland little drive up place. It’s adorable and the two women who were working when I was there were just so genuine and sweet. I am eager to try the mochas which use actual Theo chocolate(I’m a bit of a Theo junkie). My latte was good — better than Mercury(which, I’m sorry, I just find their lattes kind of blah. I know everyone LOVESMERCURY but I’m over them.) It was not the greatest, most amazing coffee ever(But I hand that description out rarely) but it was very good. I will definitely be frequenting this place, also and feeling really good about supporting the awesome people that serve me my drinks!
