Adam was recommended to me by a friend that has been seeing him for 2 years now. I could not be happier with my sessions and progress so far. Over the last ten years I have been in physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractors and to several doctors for neck dysplasia, nerve impingement and damage that runs from the base of my neck into through my shoulder and down to my fingers. I have been misdiagnosed from doctors over the years and they are always quick to jump to surgery.
After seeing Adam the first time I knew something was very different about the way my body responded. I would say my pain has lessen at least 50% from where I was on a daily basis. Now after a couple treatments I can feel my body getting stronger and I am able to do more things that I have not been able to for years because of the pain. I met Adam through a friend during my senior year of high school. I was being recruited to play college volleyball, but I didn’t know if I could play due to back pain. Adam not only helped my back feel better, but he helped me be able to be recruited to play college volleyball, and be able to play all four years and I just finished my senior season. What I’ve learned from going to Shiatsu with Adam Hewitt is that Shiatsu feels great, like massage, but its effects are much longer lasting. Shiatsu calms me, refreshes me, relaxes my muscles, relieves my pain, and helps me sleep better — and those effects continue for weeks after each session.
