Denise Ragnone

I had my first appointment last night with Denise. She explained how things were going to work which put my mind at ease. I was asked to disrobe and given the option to remain in my underwear if I wished. She then left the room and gave me ample time to get ready and get under the warmed blankets of the massage table. There was relaxing music playing and nothing distracted me from focusing on the massage and the healing work.
I felt the Denise was very attentive to my response to her massage. If needed she would increase or decrease the intensity of the massage. I really appreciated it. For the 90 minute massage time stood still. The next day I could tell that my body’s natural cleansing pathways had been opened. There was visibly less edema in my ankles and feet, which are my trouble areas.
Overall Denise was very compassionate, attentive and professional. I will definitely be going back!

My wife has been going to Denise for back pains during pregnancy. When my shoulder pain came back (from working at computers excessively), she asked me to go see Denise.
Previously I have tried other massage practitioners and chiropractors, and even acupuncture — nothing helped. I don’t think it is their fault to be fair. I simply cannot stop using keyboard and mouse. Occasional break taking and moving around help a little bit but there is no magic.
Denise’s office is conveniently located in downtown Kirkland with plenty of free parking nearby. I have seen Denise for like 20 times now. She is very good at it, and, caring. She detects stressed muscles by herself and applies different routines depending on the situation. It feels so good every time.
Another thing worth mentioning is that Denise is very fair. She for example does not charge you for the time to get dressed etc. And one time when I accidentally missed an appointment she was pretty cool about it.

Denise has been my primary LMP for over 10 years. I can’t say enough about her. She is very knowledgable, caring and an excellent practitioner. She takes the time to interview me before every appointment, tells me what she finds as she is working through my session and is really in tune with my needs for comfort and results. She is a delight to work with, the appointment is about your needs, not hers. She is a fine professional and I do recommend her.

I was unlucky enough to be rear ended on the freeway one afternoon but was then lucky enough to be referred to Denise by my chiropractor for massage. I have absolutely no doubt that Denise has been completely instrumental in me recovering as quickly as I did. I went through four months of excruciating arm and neck pain but due to Denise’s skill and expertise as a massage therapist I was able to keep my sanity through this difficult period and also keep working. Denise is a genuinely warm and caring individual which comes through during her massages and she has an innate skill at knowing where your body needs work and how much pressure to apply. I am especially picky about massage practitioners having been through the training myself and can honestly say Denise is one of the very best out there. Do not hesitate to see her if you are looking for a quality massage by a talented caring practioner.

Denise Ragnone was recommended to me through a friend who sees her. I was able to get a same day appointment by phone due to a cancellation that opened up her schedule that evening.
She took time on the phone to ask me questions to learn of my ailments and what type of service I would need. She also provided her address, directions, and options for parking. Street parking is free for a limited time, but long enough for an hour of massage service. There is also city center parking which is free during the day and only $ 1 per hour after 5:00pm.
Her office is located on the main street of the city of Kirkland, in an upstairs suite of offices with a shared lounge by an acupuncturist and homeopathic. We met in the lounge area, discussed and settled on the service and time period.
After our initial meeting, I was invited into the massage room, which was warm, with dimmed light and soothing music playing in the background. She was smart to warm up the room for her clients who would have to disrobe, but she offered to adjust the temperature to my liking. I was invited to disrobe and place myself face down on the standard massage table once she left the room. There was a chair in the corner, small table next to it, and hooks on the wall that made it easy to remove shoes, hang clothes and place a purse or other belongings. The massage table was inviting and comfortable due to the sheets and blanket that she had in place. It didn’t have that cold, clinical feel, yet all equipment and the surroundings were obviously clean and well organized. She took the time to adjust the head rest for my comfort as well.
The massage treatment was wonderful. The pressure throughout was adjusted based on the area being worked. She was conversational during parts of the massage when I engaged her, and she explained at times what she would be doing. Denise was conscience of keeping the sheet on top of my body parts that were not being worked on at the moment, which would leave the most modest of people feeling at ease. Upon completion, she clearly communicated that she would give me the time I needed to get dress and asked that I meet her in the lounge when finished. Once in the lounge, she offered me a paper cup of water which I was welcome to refill at my convenience. We discussed payment options. She accepts credit cards, checks and cash, but additional fees apply when using credit. The one hour, full body massage cost $ 90.
Overall, a very positive and relaxing experience. I have no doubt that I will be returning in the future for a full body massage.

I continue to drive down from Lynden, where we moved in 2008, to see Denise because I’ve come to realize how much I get out of these visits. Not only is her massage therapy the highest caliber, I know that she’ll take the time to really find out what I feel is most in need of her attention. Then… she makes me feel like a new person.
