I am a huge fan of this company! I grew up on the east coast, where screens on windows are the norm. Moved to Seattle and discovered that most houses here are without screens. Who wants bugs and birds flying into your house every time you open a window? I have hired them twice to put screens on windows. Their prices for custom screens are unbelievably reasonable, and the work is meticulous. He even made complex screens for a few windows that open outward instead of inward(he made a little door on the screen that I could use to access the window when opening and closing it. Thanks to them, I have a cool breeze in the summer without the bugs!

Due to the previous homeowner’s inability to read a tape measure, we had window screens, but none fit properly. There were small gaps everywhere. Emailed Screen Specialists on Monday night, and Shelly responded the next morning. Scheduled for Jim to take measurements. He was quick and precise. He gave good advice on which windows he could get a tighter fit on and which weren’t worth replacing. He also advised on the color and screen material to use and actually advising us NOT to take the higher priced options because of our particular window styles. He treated us like it was his own money instead of other companies that try to upsell, upsell, upsell. 5 days later, Jim was back with the screens. He went through the house installing them quickly and even compensating for the warp that our wood windows had. The screens should last 15+ years, but if I needed to do them again, I’d wouldn’t hesitate to call Jim and Shelly again.

Six screens installed, quick and easy. Jim was easy to work with. The measuring appointment was last weekend and it went smooth, so I scheduled the install for today(could have done it during the week, but it’s easier for me on the weekends). Jim came around 10:30 and was done in 10 minutes. I only needed a basic screen to keep bugs out, nothing fancy. The price was great and I can now leave the windows open to let the breeze blow throughout the house. Woot!
