I recently visited Lefty’s new secret location in Park City Utah. Wow, what a revelation! The food and the service were both top notch. The menu was surprising broad — surprising to even the chefs I think. The food flowed liberally and continually from the excellent kitchen. I started with the salad and French onion soup, both of which were excellent. The kale/bean/sausage stew was the highlight entrée, just the perfect thing after a long day of skiing. The kitchen can even top any dish with a perfect fried egg — a trademark of only the world’s finest dining establishments. The waitstaff were very efficient and attired in smart matching outfits. I will definitely be back if I can get a reservation.

Me and my two children dined at Lefty’s and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service impecable. The menu had a wide variety of choices and the food tasted like it had stewed in its marinade for days. The waiters seemed to just want to please. They even brought us multiple bite size creative free dessert samplers and mad libs to our table. We sat at a long table with other patrons which created lively conversation. My children had such a great time, they pleaded for us to return the next night. It was even better the second night.

I recently dined at Lefty’s, a hidden gem at Kirkwood. The 2 managers, Ronin & Nico, have created a unique menu that is always changing. We started with a sausage and kale soup, then sampled their ‘make your own’ tacos, fusilli with pesto and linguini with marinara. They also have a novel option where you can add a fried egg to any dish. And best of all, their prices are amazing! All the main courses were $ 8 or less — quite a bargain for a meal that reminds you of home!
