Walk into sammysoap to be greeted by warm staff and all of their goodness in the store will fuel you for the day! Their essential oils and bars of soap are influenced by the delicate care put into each individual detail. Their ceramic soap holders are created with love and express genuine character to show off in your home. You also can’t ignore their humble mission, and if you show sammysoap some love, they’ll give the love right back.

I love this store! My husband really enjoyed all the shaving stuff! My 98 year old grandma bought several items in your store, she loved it! I will be back to buy soap! Great location and I love the accessibility for wheelchairs!

My husband, two-year-old, and I were not planning on stopping in Sammy Soap, but after leaving the Bug Store a few doors down, I couldn’t help but notice the amazing aroma! Despite my husband’s protests, I HAD to check it out. Both of us couldn’t be happier that we did! Not only were we greeted warmly and given detailed answers to all of our questions, our son got the opportunity to cut some soap in the back with a cookie cutter. All of the staff members were extremely kind and patient. But the soap!!! My husband is African American and has suffered from extremely dry skin for years. We have tried every natural product on the market, from small-batch entrepreneurs at farmers markets to Lush. As soon as he started using Sammy’s products, he didn’t need to use lotion at all. I wish I had before and after pictures of his feet, not that you’d want to see that, but seriously the difference is amazing. Additionally, the soaps get great lather, smell wonderful, and leave you feeling clean but not dried out. What more can you ask for? I wish I would have stumbled across Sammy Soap years ago! (One suggestion I would make is to label your bags if you buy more than two soaps – which you probably will! We didn’t label ours and had a really hard time telling some of them apart once we got home.)

Such a fun little store! I love exploring kirkwood and finding specialty stores with such friendly faces. This store has a huge variety of soaps to check out. Next time I’ll be sure to ask to see how their soaps are made. It’s always a wonderful thing to see quality, handmade products made with a smile. Can’t wait to visit again!

Was walking around Kirkwood afternoon with my wife and son. We came a crossed Sammy soap. All there soaps are made in the back with all natural ingredients and essential oils. You can go in the back and look at how all there soaps are made and see all the ingredients they use. They also make laundry detergent with the same all natural ingredients. They even let my son make he’s own bar of soap into a duck shape. Using cookie cutters. They have all different kinds of cookie cutters to use and I’m not sure if everyone walking in with a kid could do this. They also let Girl Scouts and probably any other kind of kids club come in by pre registry. To watch them make soap and help grain oats for the soaps. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. They’ve only been in business for two months so there new. So check out a local business trying to get off the ground. Looking for a Valentine’s Day gift they are making heart shaped bars of soap.

I had the great pleasure of meeting this crew before they opened. From their site, sammysoap is «a small batch artisanal soap factory and natural apothecary, creating jobs for adults with developmental disabilities.» If that weren’t impressive enough, I was pleasantly surprised to see their retail front! Much more than only soaps and designed by an award-winning artist from San Diego. Check this place out.
