I love Target Kirkwood. My neighborhood store! People here are friendly, the management is helpful and they run this store right. I love Cartwheel! If you haven’t tried this, well you are missing out on some good discounts. My fav store with my fav employees.

The store in general is fine, a regular Target. The pharmacy however is POOR. They close for 90 minutes in the middle of day. I suppose it is to save on payroll but it surprised the heck out of me. Then, the young guy who gives you the RX announces what your prescription is loudly enough for everyone within 100 feet to hear. Not just mine but everyone’s. a friend told me the loud announcement happened to her as well. Switched to Walgreens…

I have a love/hate relationship with Target. I love it because I can almost always find what I need there. I love it because the staff is friendly. I love it because the store is easy to navigate. I dislike it because they don’t tell you that they will delete your wedding registry after a mere 3 months. So people who are registering there, the best advice I can give you is print yourself a few copies or you’ll never see it again. Besides that little glitch in their service, I enjoy Target.

I am not only a fan of shopping, I am also a fan of Target, so combine the two and you most definitely have a happy camper. my preference is for the Hampton /Chippewa location however this one is surprisingly right up on the list near my home store. I have hit this one a few times, it seems mainly when I am just in the area, and like I do at my home store, found the items I went in to the store for which amounts to me as a satisfying visit if I may say so myself. this particular time I didn’t find what I was looking for, however it was easy to find its location and I like the store’s layout and its cleanliness. The few times I have had to deal with an employee other than a cashier, I found them courteous and helpful each time so no complaints there.

This is the closest Target Optical to me, so naturally I will give at an extra star for just having an optical center. By that logic, ought I deduct a star from the Brentwood Target because of their LACK of optical center? Hehe. I dunno. The staff at this Target optical is pretty nice, and the doctor is pretty good too, although my prescription keeps staying the same which naturally makes me suspicious, but oh well *shrug.* Otherwise, this store is pretty much the same as any other Target aside from the fact that it’s in Kirkwood, which may or may not be a good thing for you depending on where you live. I’d much prefer to go to the Brentwood location simply because it’s closer and more convenient but the lack of the Optical center sometimes causes me to go to this one. It’s also right next to a(really disgusting) Tj Max store if you’re into the whole discount shopping thing. Kirkwood is a nice area, so I don’t mind the occasional drive. Also the dude in electronics section was friendly & helpful. I prefer Target to Walmart most of the time because it’s usually just cleaner in there. Yeah. Cleaner. Clean shopping environment is all takes to get me to spend more money!

I absolutely love Target — but this time I want to talk about their Pharmacy. Like many other people when 2012 came along we had to find new pharmacies to work with beside Walgreens. Since I am in a Target atleast once a week I figured this would be a good solution — A BOYWAS I RIGHT! I have only been with Target Pharmacy for 8 weeks now — but I am head over heels! They refill some of my meds as fast as 20 minutes, that’s enough time for me to try on some new clothes or shoes and then go pick them up! Everything is always right the first time too! They have taken amazing notes on how and when I like my medicine to be ready and always abide by them. Yesterday I needed a refill ASAP — and of course I called during their lunch break. I left them a voicemail and within 10 minutes I got a call back from a perky girl saying my medicine was ready for pick up right now. Great service with a smile, and they are very eager to help! Pharmacy gets an A+++ with me!

This is a decently-kept Target in the St. Louis area, but it also has the smallest selection of what I need. The juniors’/women’s department is a gem. The section typically is pretty clean, and the clearance racks are clearly labeled and organized well. This department is a bit smaller compared to the Brentwood location, though. Actually, it’s about the same physical size, but there aren’t quite as many racks and designs squished into the same space. It’s freeing, but it’s also limiting. Clearance prices often are just a tad higher than the same items at the Hampton location. The rest of the departments are generally like the other Target stores, though some are slightly smaller. In general, the store is organized well and offers a lot of space to manoever carts through the aisles and racks. As others have mentioned, parking can be a beast. Target is located in the same plaza as Homegoods and TJ Maxx, so the area is busy. After taking one pass around the lot for a decent spot, I’d recommend parking further toward TJ Maxx and the salon instead of trying to nab a spot in front of Target.

I’m a Target fan. The way I see it you are either a Target fan or a Walmart fan. My mom brainwashed me to hate Walmart. She saw them as the big box mega store that was putting the little guy out of business. I have adopted this view point although I do not emphatically boycott the store. We were in St. Louis and I developed some traveler’s tummy symptoms leading to dehydration. Target was the first place I thought of for relief. I needed something with electrolytes so I went to the pharmacy. I was hoping they’d have some«big people» remedy but they sent me to the baby department for some Pedialyte. Come to find out Emergen-C is of the same composition if you ever need a cure that tastes good and doesn’t bring shame on you for drinking a baby drink out of a quart sized bottle. Emergen-C can be handily added to your favorite bottled water and not bring any unwanted attention to your condition. The Pedialyte did the trick and Target again saved the day!!!

Quick in and out return. NO hassel at all. Crazy parking though. Too many people not paying attention and talking on their cell phones.
