Barefootn’ Resort

This resort gets 4 stars because of the complaints I didn’t tell friends and family.
(1) the sheets for the pull out had blood stains on them, so I had to wash and dry, this was an inconvenience as my 7 year old is rather independent and made the bed himself and I didn’t find out until in the morning (the sheets weren’t in the bed they were in the cabinet in the sheet bag)
(2) upon check in the front desk clerk was rather matter of fact about the $ 100.00 hold that I was NOT pre-​pared for having booked on another site. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t very friendly knowledgeable or welcoming either.
(3) Visible hairs in the jacuzzi tub.
(4) At times it felt like the A/​C wasn’t working.
Would I visit again? Yes (beware of raccoons walking to the dumpster). Even though we didn’t have a full kitchen the room was more than enough.
I got the place for a steal (I probably wouldn’t have been happy if I was a timeshare holder).
It was my three kids and I ages 14, 7, and 2. The playground looked fun even though we didn’t go. The kiddie pool was great for my 2 year old and my 7 year old went a couple of times. The hot tub was also nice.
The dishes are there for your use. They leave dish liquid to wash the dishes and washing powder to wash clothes and sheets (which is why I would stay again, just pre-​check the sheets). My kids wanted to test the tub out so I brought some stuff at the store to clean it out with (remember hair).
It was in walking distance to some attractions and restaurants and from the airport to downtown disney, walmart and some restaurants I was able to keep my gas price under $ 20.00 for a 6 day trip with a rental jeep. That means I brought it back to the airport on full after having it six days for $ 14.00.
All and all under $ 300.00 for six days… I count my complaints as misunderstandings.

Worst customer service experience of my life. The facilities and price were great but no amount of value can make up for the horrible interaction I had with the manager. She was awful.
They over booked and I ending up in a 1 bedroom suite instead of 2 for one night of my 5 night stay. No biggie. I made no issue of this, and a team member (not manager) told me upon check in, that at check out they’d refund the difference of the room. I was fine with it. We made due in a 1 bedroom for a night, then moved out whole family and belongings to the other room the next day.
Upon checkout I meet the manager and ask about the refund promised by the previous employee and all hell broke loose. It was like we were in the hood. «I’m the only one who makes promises of refunds and I don’t do what you’re talking about.» After I explained she said, «you’re lucky we even had a room for you the first night. The alternative would be your family screwed. Over booking happens.» From this point we were at full on argument… no reason to post details. Such a shame, what could have ended up a good stay with us likely returning despite the overbooking incident turned into the worst customer service experience of my life. Never again.

This resort has the worst customer service that you can imagine. The front desk does not care about you at all! When I realized my $ 200 Tempur-​Pedic pillow was missing I called the front desk to inform them. When I explained this to the front desk clerk she basically told me I’m a liar, spoke over me rudely and then hung up on me. Unbelievable! I called back to speak to a manager and was told, nope, no manager here. Really? So I called back the next day and the same lovely woman answered the phone. She again told me that there was no manager to speak to and she was tired of telling me for two days. I cannot believe this is how a resort would treat a guest! It wasn’t even about the pillow at this point. My boyfriend then called to find out what was going on and after not even getting one sentence out she hung up on him as well. Long story short, we finally were able to talk to upper management and reported the incident. The front desk woman didn’t even give her correct name. This resort is a JOKE to say the least. Also, to top it off they have an alligator on the premises. I don’t know which was worse, the front desk animal or knowing there’s an alligator hanging around? Good luck if you stay here.

C’est un bon hôtel bon marché situé entre le centre de Kissimmee et Disneyland, proche des grands supermarché d’Orlando. C’est l’idéal car il est bon marché, des chambres à partir de 50 euros. Des chambres propres, une cuisine. Il y a une piscine et un jacuzzi, un endroit paisible et l’idéal pour y passer plusieurs jours pour aller visiter les parcs de Disney Land.
