We used Marshall’s for my daughters wedding. They were easy to work with. Selecting what we needed was easy to do as they have most everything they rent on display. Everything was delivered on time and ready for use. I would use them again!

I had a lousy experience with Marshall’s and was very disappointed by their customer service and communication. After paying my $ 1000 deposit I never received my contract and had to call twice to get it. About a week before the final payment was due(inexplicably 5 weeks before the wedding) I called to see if I could have an extension until I got our rsvps back so I would have an accurate head count for them. They said no problem. When I called back to let them know my final numbers they refused to change the figures! We wound up paying for a TON of stuff we didn’t need, didn’t even take out the packaging. I was really upset and asked them to work with us because they had given us an extension but they kept saying they wouldn’t be able to rent them again so tough luck. I was shocked they wouldn’t honor their own word about this! Then they had the audacity to charge me for some missing glassware when I personally went through every rack and made sure it was full. More importantly, they would not give my planner, who called on several occasions, an idea of when they would be coming to set up the tent and restroom tent. She tried to find out so we could be there to ensure everything was set up correctly. They kept putting her off and when she called the morning of the delivery day she was told they had already set up and left! And the restroom tent was in the wrong spot! Really poor communication and service. Their prices are good but not worth the headache especially for an important event. Most of the items were nice enough although the linens all looked and felt super cheap

I used Marshall’s for all my rental needs for my recent wedding and I did NOT have a good experience. Their customer service was terrible throughout the whole process, and their prices are high compared with the competition. They acted as though they were doing me a huge favor even though I was shelling out thousands of dollars to their company. On the plus side the tent was beautiful and their were no major issues with setup/takedown.

Wonderful to work with! We used them for our recent wedding(tent, chairs, tables, plates, you name it), and everything turned out very lovely. Chris was very responsive and friendly(despite my multiple updates to the order), and Dick Marshall was the nicest, most helpful man when we visited their showroom in Kittery. Our order arrived right on time, in perfect condition, and was picked up on time as well. And they are much more affordable than other rental companies in the area. No complaints whatsoever.

I have had good experiences with Marshall’s. The only complaint I have is that I asked for matching chaffer dishes and they weren’t matching, not even close. They have a good assortment of items and they are easy to get ahold of. By the way, their phone number is 207−439−3344, this listing is incorrect.

We used Marshalls for one of the tents at our wedding, along with various other rentals. The cooking tent that Marshalls provided was ugly, and the rental ovens did not work. The cook had to cook everything over a little gas burner. Marshalls was unapologetic about the ovens, telling our planner that she should have had a man try to start them instead(about 5 people tried, including the chef and his team). Nice one, Marshalls. On the other hand, our sailcloth wedding tent from SPERRY was gorgeous and went off without a hitch.
