Amazing lobster rolls for a great price. Will be coming back anytime we’re in Kittery.

They have easily the best lobster roll I’ve had in the region and the price is significantly lower to boot. I’ll be sure to come back.

We were only spending a couple hours in Kittery, and I ended up going to Sue’s twice. That’s how good the lobster roll was. And we got lobster rolls to go. The lobster was fresh, sweet, and had perfect texture. The bun itself was perfectly toasted, too. On top of that, she was so nice and warm. She was very thorough in her packing and made sure my seafood got back to NYC safe and sound.

Sue’s is amazing! She makes the best lobster roll I’ve had in my life. The lobster is lightly dressed on a toasted bun– it’s a simple preparation that really lets the fresh off the boat lobster shine. The store is clean, with cute tchotchkes to look at as well as some other tasty looking local goods. I haven’t tried the other seafood as I’m usually passing through town, but it looks good as well. The lobsters in the tanks were truly enormous the last time I was there. Make sure to stop by if you’re in Kittery, and keep an eye out for Donald Sutherland.

I am so happy we stopped here! The lobster rolls were great. We took home scallops and stuffed haddock. Both were great! We’ll definitely stop in any time we’re nearby.

Stopped here on my drive up to Maine to get fish for dinner and the gentleman working there was a gem! The seafood was delicious, so fresh, but his assistance and positive attitude made this place stand out… will definitely return. Well done!

Came in here for the first time yesterday to pick up some scallops. They have a great selection of fresh fish and the prices are quite reasonable. Not to mention, there is hardly a fish smell. The staff was friendly and they even threw in a free lemon! I refuse to go anywhere else for freshly caught seafood!

After trying to go to another lobster shack that was closed, we found this one as we made our trek back to New Hampshire. It did not disappoint and was well worth the stop! The(cold) roll was deliciously toasted and was over-stuffed with a hefty portion of lobster that was super fresh. If you’re in the mood for a lobster roll, stop in and grab one. It’s a good decision.

Had to leave a review for this place because the lobster roll was that good. It’s a little hole in the wall seafood place and it lives up to the belief that those type places are hidden gems. Big chunks of lobster, not too much mayo, and much cheaper than some of the other places on main roads. Definitely worth a pit stop if you’re craving a lobster roll and in the area!

Baked stuffed haddock and lobster rolls from Sue’s are both excellent. The lobster rolls are light and meaty … The baked stuffed haddock is a must, we try to have at least once a week. Everything is spotless and fresh plus Sue is a delight. Highly recommended. This is the real think not like those places on route 1.

Sue seems to be a little happier these days and was cleaning up some fresh lobster tails(swimming-this-morning fresh) that were going to sell for $ 29/lb. That’s actually a really good price for what’s locally known as clear lobster meat, and it’s an even better price if it’s for just the tails. That’s not what I was getting so I didn’t ask for the details, but I stocked up on some other goodies while I was there and it was a pleasure to drop in. I always wish that the selection was a little better, but Sue’s isn’t on the main strip and I wouldn’t want to see any of that good fish go to waste.

A little smallish, pretty standard selection of fresh-looking fillets, shrimp(cooked and uncooked), and lobster tanks. I was looking for whole fish, which, unfortunately, Sue said she(and other local stores) rarely carries, since most of the fishing boats go into Gloucester nowadays. I did appreciate the advice, and since I was already there picked up a few lobster rolls. These were standard-sized hotdog buns but stuffed with chunks of fresh lobster meat, and were well worth the $ 9.99 apiece.

I stopped in recently while visiting my dad who lives nearby. The store is unassuming from outside. The fish all seemed very fresh and neatly labeled, and prices were surprisingly reasonable. Sue herself was there, giving us advice and talking fish. I realized that I’ve never been to a woman-run fish market before, and it was a nice change of pace: no shouting, no high counter, no having to ask prices. We bought tuna, mussels, salmon, and swordfish, and it was all great. We were very impressed with Sue’s.
