Lip stick on a pig. Kfalls’ culture may swing between ranch dressing and Wal-Mart, but this place merely conjures the illusion of something better. A $ 12 burger… topped with mayo or mustard from squeeze tubes? Bbq sauce cut with beef fat? «Award-winning» beers?(Nice try. We’ve never left so much beer in the glass) Plus the server was barely conscious. If you know the difference between crap and quality: avoid.

Stopped here on our way through town with my family of 6. Just a wonderful place to rest on a long drive. The food was good. My husbands food was a little greasiest then he planned. My homemade vegan burger was seriously the best I’ve ever had though!!! My daughters chicken strips were a lil big for a 6yo so she didn’t eat but half of one. For an adult they would have been great. Now we know to try something different for her. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were able to sit in front of a fire on couches with our food! It was wonderful! I would definitely stop by here again through town!

Probably the best find I’ve found in Klamath Falls after four years of business travel to the area. I tried to make it here a few times but it looked like it was in a dead part of town and I always detoured to another sorry bar. Well, this time I go me it early enough and was impressed with everything about this place. Set up is industrial chic as most brew pubs are nowadays. Staff was attentive and quick. I ordered the steak salad and an IPA. Both were fantastic. Steak salad rare with bleu cheese dressing hit the spot. Substantial enough to satisfy but not feel overstuffed. Will be back tomorrow night and every night I’m in Klamath Falls.

We stopped on here after a long trip from Colorado. This was our second time here. Coming from a town with 6 local breweries, which all have excellent beer– we were excited to try this place out. The food was average(pita appetizers, veggie burger, beef burger) — not that great. The beer wasn’t very impressive either. Maybe things will change– I do hope so!

I love this place. Good food. Great drink Orion’s. Really fun boisterous environment. Great for kids, parents, or date night. Amongst my favorite are the steak salad, crab cakes, Mac n cheese bites, and the Philly sandwich. Burgers are also pretty good. Staff can be hit or miss. A few are amazing, and we aim to sit in their area often. There are a few older waitresses that don’t have any hustle, which can suck when your beer is empty for over5 minutes. The rest is great though. The owners are often there and are super cool to shoot the shit with. The locals are very welcoming and will chat with you at the bar about all the cool spots to hit outdoors around town. There’s huge fire place, a great outdoor patio where live music plays during the summer, and a quieter back area for parties. Great place!

I really had some concerns eating here due to the harsh reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. It was a Friday night and it was packed, but 3 spots were open at the bar and we slipped right in and had a great night. They were busy so they didn’t check in all that often, but we ordered a flight which contained all TEN of their beers. That kept us busy tasting. Having visited the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico the day before had kind of spoiled us, so take my beer critique with some salt. The IPA and pale ale were smooth, lacking panache, my associate compared the IPA to being kissed by a dog, but a good kiss. Our favorites were the vanilla porter, the seasonal winter ale, and the amber. The food was probably pricey for Klamath Falls but not for similar classy brewpubs. We enjoyed it immensely. The Oregon Logger burger was a real treat and so big the chicken fried steak was falling off the bun, so I trimmed it up and shared it around. Fries were excellent. We also enjoyed their chowder, steak and potato soup, and a couple salads which were both great! The huckleberry salad and balsamic vinaigrette were the bomb. I brought my Californian friends up here to soak up the best parts of the Pacific Northwest, and Klamath Basin Brewery was the perfect introduction, our first moments in Oregon involved great food and craft beer! Those negative reviewers are silly! Try it!

Holy Wowza! Here’s what you see when you first enter: «NOTICE! If you seat yourself, you may not get service»(or something to that effect). Such a warm and inviting welcome… a sign of what was to come. Umm, we waited to be seated, and STILL didn’t get service. Yeah, this place has a big service problem… read the other reviews for more on that. The beer is very 2002 – the standard IPA, Imperial IPA, Pale Ale, bunch. Pretty much all within style, but only a few standouts. To start with the bad: the Vanilla Porter was like going to the pharmacy and buying a bottle of Cough Syrup – it was down-right, zero-star, disgusting – the brewmaster should be ashamed. We liked the wheat beers, the potato pale ale(just because it was unique and varied from the rest), and a few others, but overall, I would go to the packie first and grab a six-pack before getting beer here… Food? Lots of food on a tiny plate. Get bigger plates so I don’t have to eat my messy sandwich off the table. Food quality? Actually, not so bad. I enjoyed the spicy veggie burger, which was not spicy, but perfectly tasty. Overall, needs work. Not our first time here, but likely our last.

This place has an identification problem. Is it a brewery, a family restaurant or a sports bar? Based on the young female waitresses too young to serve alcohol yet dressed in tight jeans and low cut shirts, I’m leaning towards bizarre sports bar with kids running around, but this definitely is not a cool brewery. First, very little information on their brews is given outside of the chalkboard up front. In this day and age, this is sort of unheard of… People who like beer want to learn about it and every other place out there has detailed info on their beers readily available for customers to peruse. I think this place needs to catch up because they seem stuck in time, about ten years ago to be exact. Food: I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Tiny plate comes overloaded with food and zero open plate space. The sandwich was just OK. The BBQ sauce was of the super sweet variety and I’m more of a vinegar/spice BBQ sauce girl. It was perfectly fine if not too sweet. But the fries! Ooh those poor white, under fried fries were just screaming for one more bath in the fryer. They salted them well and they tasted OK but they were still white fries! White, I say! Brown those skinny pups up to make them even crisper, I beg you. Beer: loved the hefe, which is odd for me and I usually dislike most hefes as they are often too sweet. This one struck the perfect balance. The rest was generic but passable, although their special potato beer was really good too. I hate hate hate their vanilla porter… It is dessert mixed with beer more or less and I never want that combination.

They have live music on a Wednesday night! So, of course, we sat on the patio. Bit chilly with no heating lamps, but well worth it for the music. The place looks clean and the service is friendly and accurate. Took quite a while for our main course to show up though, but when it did, it was piping hot. We ordered a couple of burgers, ribs, onion rings, and a beer. The onion rings were very good — not overly breaded and not overlooked. The mushroom Swiss burger was alright — a bit dry, but not overlooked. The buckaroo burger was delicious according to our friend. He was making yummy noise while eating — it was cute. The ribs were delicious. My husband is a big fan of ribs and also makes them and he approved. My husband also ordered the vanilla porter and really liked it. So why not five stars, you ask? Good took a while to come out and wasn’t the best I ever had. It’s also not cheap — $ 13 or so for a burger with fries should taste a bit more flavourful than this one did. The service was stellar, but the check took forever to come.

I’d actually rate it a 3.5. Good burger, good fries, good vanilla porter(not a big drinker but had to try it – hey I’m at a brewery, right!?). Nice atmosphere, a bit noisy but you could hear conversation if you were sitting right across from person… I will go again.
