Been here a couple of times only because friends wanted to eat there. The service is really, really bad and the food isn’t much better. The last time I went it took us over half an hour just to pay because the machine at the table wasn’t working and the waiter was MIA. My order was wrong and it took his so long to come back to check on us that everyone was about done with their food while I was just sitting there that it wasn’t worth getting them to remake mine and he didn’t offer to take it off the bill. Will never go back.

This review finds me coming in here to visit with an valued friend. I’ve read the reviews on this place in particular and am stunned by the low ratings. So, one night, I decided to come check it out for myself and actually look around. Boy this place gets packed. With all of the negative reviews I’m surprised to see how busy this was. Granted, it was at normal dinner time during the work week but still. Easily a 30-minute wait. Was introduced to the new(to me) concept of signing up to be texted when my table was ready. I received my text and was seated in the wrong section for the server I requested. So, it was another 5 minutes for that section to get opened. Once I finally got seated I noticed that there were multiple tables where no one was getting seated at. Even conversations overheard from other patrons waiting to be seated mentioned plenty of open tables but no one being seated there. Meanwhile, as I started to browse the menu, I noticed more and more people filing in to the point of standing room only at the front door and wait area. When the host walked past after seating another couple I made an inquiry about the rush of customers. He stated that they had been busy like this since 2 p.m. For five hours straight? My server is known to me from other locations and she’s one of those at the top of her game. But even she seemed hard-pressed to keep up. Apparently the staff follow a shared-section function as I had three different people stop by to check on me and my sweet tea refills. My primary server also stopped at a dozen or so tables in the immediate vicinity. I picked up an appetizer of chips and salsa, an easily made dish, to check the reviews that specifically mention how quickly the entrée followed the appetizer. And they’re not far off. I had managed to clean out about half of the appetizer before the main entrée arrived and my small table was almost swamped with dishes. That’s not really a complaint as I would rather get my food quicker than slower where my appetizer slowly digests and I’m suddenly not as hungry as I was before I ordered. I had ordered a burger platter and it was as good as I had hoped it’d be. It was even arranged nicely on the plate which suggested the kitchen wasn’t as swamped as the wait staff. During the meal I continued to watch what was going on around me. And… it was chaos. Servers were rushing everywhere and tables were continuously calling out for staff to address issues. Some were negative issues and some I couldn’t exactly hear what they wanted. Tables took a long time to get cleaned off between guests and the tables that were open when I had arrived stayed open and unused. Even though harried each server I spoke to was polite and friendly. My server, as usual, was as charming as ever. Bathroom was clean, the dining area appeared clean and everything appeared to be ship-shape except the large numbers of uncleared tables. I still never found out why it was so packed that night but since that evening as I’ve driven past at that time the parking lot stays filled. I plan on going back soon but I’ll make sure I had no pressing appointments due to the wait.

Oh wow. I tried and tried and tried again. Let me first say, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the facility or the food here. But if you want to eat and you have to return to work at some point, this is not going to be your first choice. The service can vary anywhere from painstakingly slow to a full standstill. The servers seem to be nice enough but I think the last four or five times I have been there they have all been new/in training. Yesterday I went and ordered an appetizer and a salad with dressing on the side. The appetizer came out, cooked perfectly. I asked for appetizer plates(just a simple something so I don’t have to eat off the table or eat with my hands from the same plate as my business lunch guest) and she seemed confused, but did bring them out. My salad came and the dressing was not on the side as I had requested, which I never complained about. And the dressing was only 1 of 2 that comes on the salad. I waited for about ten minutes. My guest finally asked another server to bring out our server. She finally came and I asked for my other dressing. She brought something out but it was not the one that comes with the salad. I sent it back and finally got the correct one. At this point, I was tired from working for my food. Luckily we were able to check out on the table top device and ditch the place. I think I have finally learned my lesson the hard way.

When I first walked in I saw the places pretty packed so I thought we would stay waiting for a while but I was wrong. A nice pretty waitress came up to us and sat us down really fast. She was very attentive with us. I asked her to hold on cause I couldn’t think about my order and she wasn’t rushing me, which was nice of her. Yes the the food took a while but it was packed so I understand it was worth the wait. Food was hot and rich crunchy in all the right places the only down part is they don’t want you to leave it took forever for us to pay the check so that’s the only down side. The employees were huddle up in a corner asked if I could pay but they gave me a pen like I’m a paying customers want to leave not wanting a pen.

We hadn’t eaten here in several years and tonight reinforced why. We walked in to an 88 sanitation rating. Really? My husband was not impressed by the wide selection of 4 beers on draft, and it went down from there. We ordered dinner and after a long wait, I asked where my salad was. Since I had ordered the flatbread as an entrée, they were apparently going to bring my salad then as well, but said my salad was on the way. Three bites into my salad and our entrees show up. Seriously? Of course, there is no room at the two seater table and we have food everywhere. My husband’s tacos were cold, the paper they were wrapped in had stuck to the tortillas, and the ends had gotten dry, like they had been under the lights a while. My flatbread could have been frozen from a box for all I know, as I have had some decent frozen flatbread. Also, the table next to us sat uncleaned for over half an hour, and they were not that busy. We certainly will not be back.

A 91 sanitation grade? Really? Apparently this restaurant doesn’t care about its reviews or its reputation, otherwise the people employed there would not be there. It’s unfortunate that I was hungry and made this Chili’s location my destination. I called in an order and the girl who answered the phone was as rude as she could be. I was attempting to place my order and she was rushing me as if she had something else to do(at 10pm on a Sunday). When I asked about the soups, she blew so hard in the phone I thought she was blowing out birthday candles. I just told her to not worry about it. The burger we ordered was dry and over cooked, and my «bowl» had about 1 cup of product in it, for $ 10. If you are considering this location, rethink it! Unless of course you like places that lack in customer service, appreciation, and cleanliness. Dear Chili’s: please pride yourself in hiring people who care about their job, not just a paycheck. Your sanitation grade is a reflection of your management… So you might want to rethink that as well. I WONT be going back, for anything. Not even a pit stop to the restroom! Zero stars is too generous.

Worst Chilis I’ve beeb to. While the girl who gave me the food was nice, I got home to realize I had ordered Nachos which comes with 12. I ordered it to split as an appetizer and when I got home there were only 4. I called and spoke to the manager he said he would send a voucher to replace which never came. I’m a frequent customer of chilis from Maryland, Florida, to North Carolina. This is the second time ordering take from here the first I had to have them remake one of the appetizers luckily I caught because I wanted to eat the Texas fries on the way home. I dined here once. Server was unthinkable but friendly. I will not be eating here again.

If less than one star were possible, thats what i would give. My daughter and I went for lunch last week. We were seated in the bar and there were 4 tables. I ordered an appetizer plater as my lunch and my daughter ordered a flat bread. It took 23 minutes to get our food in an empty restaurant and it was tasteless and overcooked. Chilis used to be one of our favorite chains, not anymore. Brinker ruins every great chain they buy out.

Quality of food and customer service has diminished over the the last two years. We will not be returning. Unfortunately it’s not just one department that is gulity of under performing. This entire establishment puts forth a team effort in order to ensure insufficient quality. Management is only good for supplying refunds in place of ensuring team members receive adequate training.

Crazy wait! 30 mins for a table, 20 mins for a drink, we even waited to see who was waiting on us tonight! After waiting so long I will say the food was well worth the wait! A little skeptical at first, we heard a bunch of disgruntled people leaving and even the table seated close to us suggested we leave while we could. However, our small party of three left pleased even after nearly evaporating from hunger! Three stars only because after being seated our 1st waitress said she would be back and we never saw her again… thankfully Shauna(sp) noticed we had been sitting for some time and asked if anyone was assisting us and decided to assist. Although amazing at her job we had been waiting without anything for 20 mins without drinks. After Shauna took over things did get a lot better. Shauna immediately took our full order and we still waited another 30 mins… which she explained to us was on the kitchen. However, the difference is Shauna kept us posted, drinks fresh etc! So because of her customer service and service skills I gave 2 of the stars and the other because when the food did arrive the order was correct, fresh and seasoned well! Nothing to make a special stop for as far as food but Shauna alone on such a busy night was worth a special tip! She was able to maintain focus and please customers without selling false hope… she stayed in contact with the kitchen staff and gave us time counts on when our food would be out!

Dine in good service and price for standard Chilis food. Good friendly bar staff as well. Would rate this place much higher if take out was somewhat reasonable with time service. Have been to this restaurant a dozen times, dine and quality is great. Manager stops by often to check in on everything, wish they would do the same with take out section. Food is often cold and not ready in any reasonable time given. Disappointing given the online app is great.

This place was terrible. Waited about 10 mins before our server finally came to take our drink order. By then we already knew everything we wanted and ordered it with our drinks. 30 mins later still no drinks and the place was seriously not even that busy. We’re told our margaritas were coming 3 times but they didn’t so we finally just canceled them. The guy at the table beside us ordered a Bud Light in a bottle and it was added to OUR tab and then it still took them 20 mins for him to get his bottled beer. We were told by our waiter that the place was going through a «complete meltdown»(his exact words) and that the bartender was«swamped» and did we want to talk to Alicia? I was like, who is that? Turns out she’s the manager. She should have been visible, out patrolling the restaurant, putting out all the small fires, talking to customers or at least helping the poor swamped bartender. Whoever this Alicia is needs to step it up because her restaurant was falling apart on a not very busy Monday night. The food tasted fine and came out at a reasonable time so it seems that the kitchen had their stuff together. The servers seen to spend most of their time hiding somewhere behind that wall that says«team members only.» Must be better in there than out here with all of the complaining customers. Guess I can’t blame them there.

Terrible service. We actually had to get up with out cups and beg for a drink refill. Apparently Chili’s uses a team server approach. Both servers were cleaning tables around us, talking, but not actually doing any serving. The food was alright. The temperature felt like it had been sitting under the lamps too long. When we finished eating we sat there for at least 10 minutes before the server came over and asked if we needed anything else. Sorry, no… we don’t have all night for you to return from wherever else you were hiding.

This Chili’s location is in a free-fall decline, as of the past year or so. Rude, short and snappy staff, long waits for simple items/refills during lunch hour, and food quality is sub-par at best. If you have an extra 10 minutes to spare, you won’t regret choosing the Chili’s by Triangle Town Center on Capital Blvd instead, where the staff and kitchen are friendly, competent and worth the $$. Chili’s in Knightdale is in desperate need of a complete overhaul.

They were ok today. Service was slow and we didn’t get there until 1:30 ordered food at 1:40 and didn’t get food until 2:15. Bc of more slow service didn’t leave until 3:30. :(. Food is always great!
