This particular fast food classic has been a favorite for my teenager no matter the town, city, or state. Unfortunately, he’ll have to request it outside of his own town of Knightdale because this place leaves quite a reputation in the mouths of it’s tasters. I won’t slam the quality of the food. Honestly, the food isn’t so bad at all. In this case, the service is hated by many local Knightdaler including myself! I’ve yet to hear good things from neighbors and even a few strangers in the establishment. Slow… very slow service. I’ve waited at the drive thru without anyone in front of me for longer than 8 minutes for simply a burger and coke. I could handle that on those rare occasions that I’d actually go, but my last visit finished it for me when I found…(brace yourself) a red onion in my milk shake!!! never mind the small fuzzy lint ball that was sitting on the cheese of my burger that I picked off and ignored because I was desperately hungry(don’t judge me!) but to then go on and taste something strange in my milkshake and later find it to be the onion… well this caused an out-pour of words I’m much too embarrassed to share on Unilocal. When I took the shake inside to complain I was belittled when they suggested that I actually planted the onion there myself in order to ask for my money back! Needless to say I was asked to leave because of my public display of anger and after calling the district manager I was given no response. The employee there spoke for him and reiterated that they would not reimburse the ticket. Sadly they didn’t apologize either. This is the worst of many disappointing occasions. Another, an employee/lover fight in the middle of the parking lot, and on a different occasion, greasy chicken tenders that soaked the brown bag, My teen won’t be going there ever again, and I’ll happily enjoy the other quick fix fast food places around Knightdale. I’ve had enough. signed, a disgusted customer
