Great sushi! I called for pick up and was told the sushi was buy one, get one. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Love this place. Very reasonable prices and always BOGO and kids meals for the littles. I am from CA and it’s hard to find good sushi and unique rolls around at a decent price around here and this place fits the bill. A must stop for me around Knightdale

Mediocre counter service from the short guy at the counter. He seemed bored and came across as if we were bothering him. Food was inexpensive and not bad for flavor but the carrots were mushy and overly sweet like they were pre-frozen. I had extremely old onions in my food that were impossible to chew(that’s how I could tell they were old). Dragon rolls were not bad. Would I give them another try? I can’t think of any reason why I should.

Carrots in a stir fry are not supposed to be mushy. Sushi rolls are supposed to have fish in them. Their Japanese beer tap was broken. This might be a four star place for Knightdale. I feel generous giving it two.

I really enjoy a good Sushi deal and a 96.5 score is not bad. The Counter service was great the Sushi was OK, I will try the Hibachi Combo next time but they did have a Hibachi $ 4.99 special until 4PM. I would say its a great place for a nice weekend lunch if your in Knightdale.

Love this place. The hibachi chicken and steak are consistently good and the sushi is awesome! Been there several times and haven’t had a bad experience ever. I highly recommend this great little restaurant.

Pretty good hibachi and sushi combo. The portion sizes are huge, consider splitting a meal and try some sushi. The bogo offer for sushi applies all the time, even in carryout. Don’t let the small sushi glass fool you, probably the best around knightdale. Also, the sobe noodles are fantastic. Never too busy or long call in times. Good quality and price.

Can’t beat the quality and quantity for the price. It’s also usually pretty busy but they still get your food cooked and served in a very timely manner. Great employees and I love the free soup! Also love the 5.99 lunch special that goes until 4 pm

Delicious Japanese food at an affordable price. One of the chefs used to work at Kanki. The portion sizes are very generous.

2 for 1 sushi! Yay! I went for lunch today and got the Sexy Lady roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll. Both were good but the tuna in the Sexy Lady had a fishy after-taste so I didn’t eat all of it. I would eat here again! $ 9 for lunch… I just wish it included a salad or something but I get it — 2 for 1 rolls, you shouldn’t complain. :)

Sushi is very good. Buy one get one free which is hard to beat. There specialty rolls are a good size so you get a lot for your money. The hibachi is also very good. A lot cheaper than Kanki and just as good.

This place wasn’t bad at all. We just so happened to stop in and I was surprised at how good the sushi was. We got two rolls since it was buy one get one free. I got the NC roll and the knightdale roll and they were both good. However, the miso soup was just okay. Nothing special. Usually there’s tofu in my miso soup but their soup only had little pieces of bread in it. Other than that, I would come back here.

I ordered the hibachi salmon dinner and a shrimp tempura roll. Considering price, quantity and quality hibachi express is nearly 5 stars. I would recommend hibachi express especially if you’re looking for a fast meal!

First time here randomly since they are open until 10… we will be back! The sushi chef let me get a roll that wasn’t on the 9.99 sushi hibachi combo. Very good sushi. The hibachi was standard fare but they did have sweet carrots with the meal. Husband got no onions and they still filled his plate with zucchini and chicken. The rice was he only thing we weren’t wild about. Too peppery for us. Peter, the sushi chef, was friendly and so was the other worker. Nice ambiance and clean. Thanks!!!

This is by far one of favorite Japanese restaurants. This food really taste just as good as Khanki. I have been going here since the initial grand opening a few months back. Staff — The staff is always nice and go out their way to make sure you are happy with your food and their service. Food– Every time I go the food is fresh, quality, and tasty. Even when I get the food to go it is just as good. Soup — They have soup that is free to help yourself. It is the clear broth soup but it is good. Atmosphere — Recently they have added a sushi bar and changed the atmosphere to a little cozier setting but still kid and family friendly. Prices — Good price for the money. I recently just noticed a slight price increase, because when I first started going the hibachi chicken was $ 5.99 and now it is $ 6.50 so I am assuming the new sushi bar has raised the price of all other food. However, they do put a coupon in the clipper magazine for $ 2.00 of $ 15.00 or more and they run a special for $ 4.99 hibachi chicken before 4:00 pm. Overall a wonderful place to dine whether you are eating in or on the go.

I love this place, the price is right and the quality of food is there. The chefs formerly worked at Kanki Restaurant in Raleigh. They are presently expanding their Knightdale location the adjacent parcel that was formerly a FedEx packing center. It will be part of their new sushi bar. This place is on fire, seriously good and price is spot-on. They use fresh ingredients and the sauces are great tatsing. Try them, you won’t regret it!

There are a few stores every town has, big or small: Wal-mart, McDonald’s, and fast Asian food restaurant called«Hibachi Express.» Seriously. Pull up Google Map and see how many«Hibachi Express» are in your town? So if you have been to similar Hibachi place, you should know the deal: small store, set course lunch specials, your choice of chicken or beef or shrimp, plus the ultimate decision: do I want the white sauce, or the ginger sauce? All that, and authentic Asian guy behind the plexiglass with paper hat and funny apron making a racket and cooking up a storm. Tell me that I did not just describe your Hibachi place too. One cool thing about this here however, is the fact they keep the soup self-serve, inside a thermo tea dispenser. Sure it’s nothing spectacular, just your standard clear beef broth, but still the fact to be able to getting your own soup, with thinly sliced mushrooms and green scallions on the side, is pretty neat. Besides that deal, this is a decent simple and quick«grab your takeout and go back to work» kind of place, but of course they have seats inside should you spare five to ten minutes away from your work or errands. P. S. I think that Grand Opening sign has been hanging for a while, so I don’t know when the specials will ends, but if you are getting your hibachi on in the next few days, try to get the Manager’s Hibachi Special, complete with drink and soup: veggie $ 6, Chicken $ 7, Beef $ 7, Shrimp $ 8.
