The food was not very impressive. The bar not the best. Great spot if you are looking for a laid back KARAOKE spot.

So impressed! It’s been a while since we’ve been to Latitudes, and let me tell you… They’ve done some seriously good things to improve the menu, the service and the atmosphere. I ordered the carne asada and it was absolutely delicious. My husband(who lived in Colombia most of his life) ordered the Bandeja Paisa. He said it was some of the best that he’s ever had. To say the least, we will be back soon. We have found our go-to spot!

I’ll start by saying I’ve been to Latitudes four times now. It’s rare I give a place four tries to get it right and have it fail in one way or another, each time offering a different combination of questionable service and food. The location seems like it should be something great, or maybe I just want it to be since Knightdale is littered with ordinary chain restaurants with terrible beer selections and bland food. But beer selection, staff, Management(sitting at the bar on his computer each visit?) and food are all average. I’ve tried the calamari, pretzels, tamales and ceviche. All of it was average at a stretch and some left you really wondering. Minor details such as forgotten orders, wrong beers, slow service and a food identity crisis make this a no-go for me. It has a dodgy vibe as well. Beats me what they are trying to be, but they fail at all of it. The food took so long on the last visit, that I had to take it to go, and I should have left it as it was a terrible wet mess that I ended up pitching anyway. That was the final straw. Not my gig and won’t go back.

Not very impressed. Heard from several people how awesome this place was and was disappointed. The food tasted as if it was thawed in a microwave. The service seemed to be short staffed because the guy from the bar seated us. We waited a while to get served and our check.

Best place to eat hands down. Awesome food and great people. The owners are very down to earth and considerate.

Tajadas with ground beef are delicious. Fried savory plantain chips with a crunchy cabbage salad and a creamy cheesy dressing make for a great alyernative to nachos.

This place seems to have lost it’s way and doesn’t know what it wants to be. I tried to order a few things on the menu that they apparently ‘don’t have anymore as they are changing the menu.’ Our food was not very good. The experience and what you see on their website and on Facebook is not what you get in the restaurant. Waitress didn’t know the draft list nor could should provide one or was willing to try and figure it out. I get the feeling the owner/manager has checked out and it’s a free for all. Would be great on bar rescue…

This place is really not that good. We’ve been here 3 times and our experience varied from underwhelming to just bad. The service always seems awkward and the food is worse. I’ve found that a lot of their Latin dishes aren’t bad, but don’t waste your time with anything else. I desperately wanted this place to work. A Quality Non-chain restaurant with beer in Knightdale??! Alas, it was too good to be true. The wait for Oak City Brewing continues…

I ate at this place for lunch around 12:30 in the afternoon. It was pretty much empty except for an older couple in a booth… That had me worried. First impressions were that is was pretty clean, and smelled good. The server was very nice and the food was good. I had a chicken quesadilla and chips with salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa tasted fresh and homemade. The prices are fair $ 7.00 to $ 8.00 range for lunch. Drinks(soda) were pricy $ 2.75 I believe. The only problem I had was there was a kid(4 – 5 yr old i guess) on his ipad in the booth behind me by himself playing with his ipad. He kept turning around and getting the ipad in my ear. I believe he is the child of someone that works there. He didn’t stay in the booth the whole time, he went to the other side of the restaurant so it didn’t ruin my whole lunch.

This place was terrible. The waitress was nice enough; but that’s where the good news stops. Beer was bad; I’m convinced something is wrong with the keg lines. And the food was horrific. My kids both had chicken nuggets, and I almost ate those to offset the taste of the burrito dish I attempted to eat. We won’t be going back.

Waited nearly an hour for my food, meat was extremely bland, rice was barely warm, beans were so salty I could actually crunch the salt in my mouth. I had them return the plate and was not able to wait for them to make another plate. they had the nerve to charge me half of my meal of which I only took 3 bites. absolutely horrible experience, first and last time I’ll waste my. money here. Quick update: After complaining about the experience they discounted my entire meal but only after pressing the issue. our waitress was extremely nice, she was the best part of our experience…

I went for lunch this afternoon and ordered the Cuban pulled pork. It wasn’t ready so instead I ordered the crazy chicken sandwich. It was incredible I am glad I tried it. The waitress was amazing! The prices were great. I will definitely eat there again.

Food was pretty good, bit that is the only reason this isn’t one star. Service was TERRIBLE. Waitress he’d no idea what she was doing, didn’t know the menu, forgot to get my soup and my wife’s salad, didn’t bring it all out at once. It took us over an hour after ordering to get our food, and the place was half empty. Will not be going back here.

There was no AC and the music was 50’s like beach boys… not exactly what i expected for authentic south american cuisine. It was so hot i didn’t want to order much so i got the empanadas. These were clearly frozen pre-made and the sauce was like kraft bbq sauce… not made like the menu described. The staff was nice and the seating looked pretty. Was really looking for a new place to eat and have fun… really sad.

The entire time we were there trying to have a nice dinner a family let their small children scream and run by our table about 900 times. I ordered a burger, well done and first couple of bites were good until I realized the burger was raw in the middle. The waitress never came to check on us until my husband had finished his food. We asked for the check and I showed her my raw burger. While she did apologize she didn’t offer a discount for my inedible meal. We won’t be back

Visited on 3÷7÷15. First, our server was nice enough, but had no idea what I ordered when I said I wanted the tostones with roja vieja! Hello, it is a Latin restaurant, so you need to train your wait staff to know what is on the menu and how it is pronounced. I am guessing she was new because she seemed a bit nervous, which seems weird since there were hardly any guests. Now for the food. The bruschetta was kind of a joke — but why would someone order bruschetta at a Latin restaurant. As a matter of fact, why would a Latin restaurant offer bruschetta anyway. I ordered the tostones off the appetizer menu with the addition of roja vieja. It reminded me of eating in San Juan, bringing up good memories. The rice and black beans were seasoned nicely and the tostones were yummy. Wish I could have eaten them all because tostones really don’t reheat very well. Based on what I have read in the reviews, the restaurant has an identity crisis. I think the owners need to get rid of all the items that are not Latin based. This restaurant should not offer meatball marinara or bruschetta(there are enough restaurants that do Italian food right), and get rid of the burgers(again, there are restaurants right down the street that will beat you on that offering). Why would there be a crab cake sandwich on the menu? People should be visiting this restaurant for the Latin flavor. So, my suggestion is to try this restaurant if you like or are interested in Latin(not Mexican) food.

We just moved to Raleigh from California, and we were looking for somewhere different that would give us a taste of North Carolina. We are in the market for restaurants near our house that we like an would frequent. We were very disappointed in our decision to eat at Latitudes in Knightdale. From the moment we walked in the door everything was a mess… — no hostess, so we had to wait for a busy server to come seat us. — when we asked what beers were on tap our server didn’t know. –our food came out wrong, and it was gross!!!

I’ve been wanting to try this place, since it’s close to where I live. My husband and I tried it for lunch today! They have great food and drink specials everyday of the week — a huge plus! I ordered the BBQ Chipotle Chicken sandwich and my husband got the Ropa Vieja sandwich. We also tried the yuca fries. The yuca fries and the Ropa Vieja sandwich were AWESOME. I wished I had ordered that instead because my chicken sandwich was underwhelming. It tasted fresh, but wasn’t spicy at all. I was expecting more of a kick. Plus, it was supposed to have blue cheese on it and I didn’t taste it at all. The service was friendly and quick. The palce is pretty big and would be great for large groups. Lots of TVs in the bar area as well. We will definitely be back — i want that Ropa Vieja sandwich all to myself. :)

They have an updated menu and also a lunch menu. We have tried a few things from it and love it all. My hubby loves the crazy chicken sandwich and he normally does not like cole slaw. There is a mushroom and Brie soup that is delicious. I could eat the Greek yogurt cheesecake all day! My family eats here once a week and everyone leaves full and happy.

So far not off to a great start. We’ve been here before and sat at the bar, Shane(the bartender) was awesome! We ordered beef empanadas which were amazing. Came back tonight for dinner and so far it’s horrible. Jasmine was or waitress and I’m not sure if she’s new or just not interested but it’s obvious she’s not into our table. Apparently there was a appetizer sampler special she failed to mention to is. We ordered the meat empanadas(or so I thought) and was brought the buffalo chicken ones because meat and chicken are apparently the same thing. I clearly told our waitress that we wanted the meat ones, she offered to fix the mistake but we decided to let it go and try them. They are ok, not as good as the meat ones but whatever. Dinner is the Latitudes Trio of steak, chicken and shrimp cooked with a ‘hint’ of pineapple and black beans… well this was a miss. What came out what the equivalent to fajitas with small chunks of pineapple. By the way fajitas are on the menu. The tails are still on the shrimp, the rice is bland and dry, the dish itself has no flavor. Again, I ordered black beans and it came with pinto. I’m not sure if it’s our waitress or the kitchen. My boyfriend ordered a regular burger — it comes with lettuce, tomato onion and cheese. The lettuce was a huge fan leaf and the onions were so tiny. The fries were cold and a super small side of macaroni salad. He claimed it was just alright. He ordered his burger medium well and it came out medium rare. My meal came out 5 minutes before his. Based on tonight’s service, we will not be back.

Very good dinner. The chipotle chicken pasta was very good. Spicy tender and a large portion. The steak quesadilla was also a taster treat. The steak was a little tough but very good. Service was attentive and polite. What more can you ask for. We would return when in town again.

We had a great experience here on Sunday 6⁄1 at 5:30pm. Our party had 2 adults and 1 child. We were skeptical going in because of the many«long wait» concerns. We were seated immediately and ordered our drinks, which came quickly. Food: Appetizer: Beer and pretzel bites. Tasted good, nothing to write home about. Next time we will order another sandwich or an entrée instead of an appetizer. Entrée: Ropa Vieja sandwich. It’s absolutely delicious. The meat was marinated beautifully. It came on a nice, big hoagie roll, slightly toasted with butter and garlic. Kids Meal: The kids meal was excellent. It came with steak strips which also had an amazing marinade, rice(our choice), veggie medley and an ice cream sundae after the meal. Service: Excellent service. We were in and out in 50 minutes. When we ran out of drinks, the bartender noticed, even though we were in the far corner, and we had three people come up to make sure we were covered. Note: One of the partners came up to us to ask how our meal was. When we told her a friend had come Friday(and loved it), she expressed disappointment over what happened Friday night. Their printer failed in the kitchen and the dining room was packed. She explained that they have since changed the way they seat patrons and will work to make sure the same mistake doesn’t happen again. I’m pretty sure most of the one star reviews were from Friday night. If you’re even a bit curious, give this place a try. It would be great to keep a good, reasonably priced NONCHAIN restaurant in business in Knightdale.

Finally! A restaurant in Knightdale with REAL food! My dad and I work right down the street and were so excited to try it we came twice in one week. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Since it’s only their first week in business I know they will get even better with time… Thank you for giving Knightdale the opportunity to eat some great good! I look forward to seeing you succeed
