I ordered a dark roast last night and was told that they did not have any. I have visited this Starbucks at least three times a week and for the last two weeks they claimed they did not have dark roast. However their display was loaded with two different types. I asked if they could do a ‘pour over’ and the kid told me that I would not like it and he didn’t want me to waste my money. I told him that I ‘wasted a car ride’. I asked again for the coffee and he huffed, waited on two other customers, then made my coffee. I really enjoyed it! However I will no longer be visiting the Knightdale Target Starbucks — I’d rather drive further down the road to the New Bern store!

Yeah, this Starbucks is pretty terrible. Don’t even bother if there are 2+ people ahead of you, you’ll wait at least 20 minutes. And even then your drink will probably be made incorrectly. The only bonus to coming here over a regular Starbucks is that if you have a target RedCard you can save 5%. But honestly, it’s not worth it. Drive another mile or two west to the Starbucks off of new bern in the Walmart plaza.

Shouldn’t have the name Starbucks because they don’t make the drinks anything like Starbucks. If I want a Starbucks coffee I’ll go up the street where they actually follow the recipes.

I would give this place a negative star if I could. Slow service, horrible drinks. Never get the same drink made the same way. Staff never friendly nor able to answer any questions about drinking specification. If your looking to get a drink here your going to have to wait. Slow service and under staffed.

If I am grouchy and thirsty when I walk in, Nat will hook me up with a delicious coffee(he makes it right every time) and he will say something nice to cheer up my previously caffeine deprived monster! I only took away a star because this starbucks is in a Target café area, it’s lacking that cozy welcoming Starbucks feeling. —edit— unfortunately Nat no longer works at the Knightdale Starbucks, but Matt makes great coffee, and is a fast worker with a friendly personality.

Was there last weekend and there were 2 girls working. One was very mean to the other and was pushing her around and saying how it was going to be a long day if they had to keep working together in such tight quarters. She was mean to me, too. I was clearly bothering her when I gave my order and she just slapped my drink up on the counter and did not look at me or say anything. I mean, this Starbucks has very ill people working there(all except Nate). Amazing to me how Starbucks brand could let just anyone work for them. It almost makes me want to drive down to the Starbucks at 64 and New Hope– and that one is not much better!

Holy cow, this is indeed the worst Starbucks I’ve come across. Not only did the staff member act like I was a nuisance, she also robbed me of my $ 6 by making the foulest latte I’ve ever had. I am convinced she used brewed coffee, milk and chocolate syrup to make a cinnamon dulce latte. The drink was done faster than it takes to draw the 4 shots requested. If I didn’t live 3 hours away, I would be at the store requesting my money back and a managers contact info. To the staff member, if you hate your job, quit. Don’t treat people like garbage and rob them of their money. Such a shame.

The staff is super nice. and polite but they are soooooo very slow and clueless. My 9 year old asked if it was their first day. Lol.

Middle of the road establishment. At first I really wasn’t sure where this was located until I’ve seen Target and remembered another location within a Target store. Sure enough, there it was. This place is as sterile as it gets, tile floor, a bar along the window and two bigger, round tables surrounded by a couple of small, seating two. Being entirely too bored of driving most of the day, I’ve decided to stick around. Green tea latte — my Starbucks usual was well made to order. The girl behind the counter was polite, albeit somewhat perplexed with taking inventory and cleaning up. Being the only one there I could see the boredom permeating her existence. I chose to sit at the bigger, round table for the space it had to offer and voila; no wobbles, a stable table! After immersing myself in the digital world of work and play, surroundings became less relevant and all the noise of a retail environment somewhat faded away. In a little while my bladder reminded me of it’s existence as well as the goosebumps covering my arms. Wearing a tshirt here in July was a mistake. Being too cold to sit there any longer I took my leave to the bathroom and attempted to tip the barista, who was flattered and politely refused; «target doesn’t let us» she explained. Well, that sucks. So next time you’re here for that caffeine fix, make sure to tip your barista and stick it to Target!
