Walk in for a beer. Get assaulted by a drunk female. Bar tender seems unfazed, does nothing. Very disappointed, very telling, sad. Be careful that’s my highest recommendation. If something goes wrong you’re on your own far from help with a complacent staff. zero stars, smdh.

Was referred to this establishment by a good friend. He said to ask for Michelle. Was not disappointed. Friendly, attentive, down to earth, REAL! Great customer service. This place rocks. Wish I would have found earlier but glad I know now. If you’re in Knightsen this place is a must! And you can smoke a cigar out back on the patio

Bar wasn’t in best shape (I’m being nice it was filthy)
Drink was just to strong.
I was asked by a patron who later turned out to be a employee if I want to buy some (shit) not sure what he was referring to.
Saw people rolling joints in the bar
Got up
Paid
Left.
Never comming back to this drug den covered up as a bar again.

I have found this place on Facebook. We had a great time with some awesome music and good people. Convenient location, very friendly team, especially Jenna — their bartender with the special of the night 3 $ yummy Yukon jack shots! Definitely recommend to friends.

Great staff, great environment. The new management is making a change and doing everything right. Love this bar. Will continue to bring in everyone I know here for events and party’s. New staff has really been doing a great job!

This place brings in a lot of low life. My father put a marble memorial bench in front of the Knightsen Garden Club in honor of my mother’s service for the community and the Garden Club. This bench is 50 ft from Sonja’s Bar. Sadly, there are beer bottles all over my mother’s bench and who knows what else every weekend from the people who visit Sonja’s. Sonja should respect the community and clean up after the filth. Very disrespectful in many respects.

This was the best place to be on Friday nights when Joey and Trish were bartending. It’s just weird going In there now. Most of the patrons are gone, the clientele is way older and no offense but the customers (and some employees) just look twacked out on something. They did have a decent band the other night. It’s just not fun like it was.

I’ve only been here once, but I had fun: I went with my partner and a few friends from out of town. The staff was really welcoming and gave us a free round of shots! We played pool and monopolized the jukebox for a while.

If you look up Dive Bar in the dictionary, there is a picture of Sonja’s. Totally a local farmer scene. Bartenders and patrons are friendly and smoking is common place inside. The place can liven up on weekends if they have a live band and city dwellers migrate in. There’s a small dance floor and a pool table in the back room. Once in a blue moon Sonja herself shows up in a red dress… Go with low expectations and have fun with it.
