Evergreen At the Bluffs

We love living here! We have renewed our lease twice. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they treat us like family. The apartments are very nice and they have a great pool and exercise room. Anytime there has been a problem with the apartment, maintenance in there within a day to fix it. They are welcoming to our pets and always have treats on hand for our dog when they see her. Plus, you can’t beat the location. It’s quick to get downtown and to old city, but still not ‘in the city.’
I feel safe there, which is really important to me since my boyfriend travels a lot for work and I spend a lot of time home by myself. I have never felt uncomfortable walking by myself or with my dog at night. I haven’t had a problem with parking, but then again I don’t mind walking a few extra steps if the ‘prime’ parking spots are taken. Not everyone can park right by the door.
We do occasionally hear our neighbors, but there has never been any major issues with noise. For the most part our neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves. There are a few oddballs, as can be expected in any apartment complex.
At The Bluffs you pay for the peace of mind in knowing that you are safe and secure, maintenance will be there to promptly fix any issues, and you have friendly faces to help you with whatever you need. I can’t recommend it enough!!!

I have lived here on two separate occasions, once as a senior in college (I only moved for grad school) and then again when I moved back to work at UTK. This apartment is great! It takes me under 15 minutes to get from my apartment to UTK. It’s always clean and the people are really friendly, neighbors and management. While the owners of the complex have changed, Kelly and Ed were here when I lived here 5 years ago and are still here. I found that consistency comforting. I’ve only ever dealt with 2 noisy neighbors and it was dealt with both times. The community officers are great and helpful when you need them. I’ve never felt unsafe walking my dog late at night or coming home alone. It’s a great family complex and not a lot of noisy undergrads. There’s not always parking directly in front of my apartment, but I’ve never had trouble with the extra 15 steps it’s taken me to get to another spot. The only downside for me is that the apartment is a little bit more expensive than I’d like to pay, but I pay for peace of mind.

Like it here a lot. The staff is nice and they recently upgraded the pool area. Would recommend it.

The original review that I posted was 5 month ago, but nothing has changed. The noise in the evening and at times at night still is ongoing. There had been several meeting with management but no real action Was taken. Once you sign that lease management will not help you. Not an apartment complex that I would recommend for professionals or working folks. You will not be able to sleep every night.
