We’ve eaten here twice, it’s pretty typical for a Longhorn, but the wait here is generally a bit shorter than the one in Turkey Creek. The service was a little slow this time but the orders were right and she was friendly.

Food was cold and horribly bland. Service was good. Steak was cold and mushrooms and chicken were all bland and dry. Had to recook steak and still cold

I have never had anything less than a 5 at their Sevierville location so when I finally chose to come and check it out I had I hopes. My experience at this particular LongHorn was somewhere in the middle. The pre-meal bread is normally good. You can’t go wrong with any of the steaks; they are always great. It’s the rest of the food experience that was not what I have had before. I had the Flo’s Sirloin and Lobster Tail. It’s not a bad choice for 27.49. But FYI the asparagus add-on for 1.49 is not worth it. Pick the mashed potatoes or something else… On another side note… you may not want to order the mushrooms as a side if you do not like the darker(more bitter) tasting mushrooms. Just a heads up. I liked them but my wife was not a fan. The restaurant itself is new so it is in great shape and clean. If you’re towards the back then you may not see the scores on the TV(but you can see the games).

I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices for lunch and the excellent food quality. They have some tier priced lunch combos that are a really good value. My husband and I both ordered the $ 8 combo and got our choice of soup or salad with a pick from a list of 4 other items. We both got the same thing: a bowl of Shrimp and Lobster Chowder and a 1⁄3 lb steakhouse burger. With a choice of American, Swiss or cheddar, we both picked cheddar. The soup was exceptional with corn and roasted red pepper accenting the seafood nicely. The burger was juicy and the toppings were fresh. The meal came with warm complementary bread and a side of weirdly yummy potato chips with cheese sauce and bacon bits. The server was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. This is a good choice for a mid priced lunch.

The food tastes cheap. I don’t know another way to describe it. Bleh. I had a salad with steak. The husband had a burger that he described as cheap tasting as well. Go to Wendy’s.

Mrs. and I visited this Longhorn today and we’re well pleased. The host was not the sharpest knife in the block, but our server was excellent and the food was very good. Both of us enjoyed Flo’s Filets that were cooked just like we asked. The meat was tender and tasty.

Not bad, not great. It’s pretty much like other Darden restaurants(Olive Garden, Red Lobster), except they offer different menu items. Restaurant itself is pretty cool, they’ve got the whole«wild west» feel going on. Servers were friendly as well. Not too crowded around lunchtime, so the wait times were short. The food’s probably just what you’d expect. I liked the complimentary bread, although the chili cheese fries we ordered were a bit too salty for my liking. We ordered a medium rare ribeye that turned out to be more medium than rare, but the flavor was good and it wasn’t too rubbery. Parmesan crusted chicken wasn’t very good, though. The bottom of it was burnt, and the cheese came off all at once.(To be fair, that happens to everything with a cheese crust). I imagine it tastes much the same at other locations in Knoxville and elsewhere, which is why I probably won’t be returning. That’s not to say that the food is bad; it’s just that I’ve had better food for less — this place definitely isn’t cheap. Not much else to say about Longhorn. If you like it, great. If not, there are tons of other places you could go.

The food is always pretty good, but the service is very slow. Went on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend and ended up having a $ 90.00 tab. Way to expensive for the slow service.

Foods so –so at this locale. Waitress was okay. We ordered off the lunch menu on a Saturday so it wasn’t at all real busy. However, we waited a little over 30 minutes for a salad and steak sandwich n fries. My husband was not happy with his sandwich. I like french dressing and they didn’t have it or catlina. We’ll most likely nit be going back at this location. We usually go to Parkside @ Turkey Creek Much better there.

My parents are on the older side so whenever I visit and we go out for dinner, we eat between 4:30−5. What’s surprising(ok not for Knoxville but for me) is that the Knoxville restaurants are already packed with families and older adults. This Longhorn also gets mall traffic b/c they recently opened next to Dillard’s at West Town Mall. My parents are big Longhorn fans so they come here a lot. 11OZ. RIBEYE — $ 19.79 As with any ribeye, it’s fatty but it’s also super juicy compared to the other steaks. I’m a ribeye girl, and I loved the flavor of their ribeye — so tasty you don’t need sauce. I actually ordered their Tableside Steak Sauce and sadly barely touched it. For my side I got the Loaded Baked Potato — potato was drowning in sour cream and not many onions/bacon. Otherwise the baked potato was very good. The salad was disappointing though — they use iceberg lettuce and the salad was drowning in dressing. Make sure to order your dressing on the side. TABLESIDESTEAKSAUCE — $ 1.99 Got introduced to this magic sauce at a Unilocal Elite event in Atlanta. They make it at your table and you can watch it sizzle in the process — you also have the option to add sriracha sauce to make it even more kicky. However their sauce wasn’t temperature hot so maybe the metal disc thing wasn’t working … BLACKENEDSHRIMP&CRABCAJUNRICE — $ 18.49 This dish is super salty — the only upside is they use jumbo size shrimp. My mom enjoyed the dish though. I wouldn’t get it. 6OZ. FLO’S FILETANDLOBSTERTAIL — $ 27.49 Nice price for both steak and lobster — good stuff. Overall food was pretty good and everyone was happy. My steak was 4 stars and everything else was probably 3 — but our server was great and very friendly. It’s one of the better restaurants in West Knoxville. The complimentary bread is good too. Rounding up to 4 too b/c my parents love it.

First experience at the new Longhorn in Knoxville. Let’s get the good stuff out of the way. Matt and Ben at the bar were fantastic. Very attentive and helpful. My burger was cooked exactly as ordered and the bun was fresh. Now, some areas of opportunity: That perfectly cooked burger had no flavor. There is no wi-fi available. Oh they have one, but it’s not for the paying customer. Which is kind of silly, seeing as every drink coaster invites you to login and join their club. Here’s a business hint; if you want to increase your media footprint, make it easily accessible. Prices are on the high side compared to the restaurants they are competing against.
