Have eaten at this location multiple times and get fairly consistent service. It always seems to be best when I eat at the bar section. Happy hour specials are really well priced. Loved the Kung pao chicken I ordered and tried a new drink that was called the strawberry cucumber limeade. It was absolutely fabulous! Our waitress… unfortunately cannot remember her name. she was amazing and very knowledgeable.

Let me be clear, this is a review for my most recent experience. I have had a long love hate relationship with this place. At one point, many years ago, this was easily my favorite chain restaurant in town. I have been here 3 or 4 times over the past few years and have had a terrible experience. I mean in the top 5 worst restaurant visits ever terrible. Tonight was much better. I got there about 6:30, sat at the bar for a drink and to decide on to go or to eat there. The bartender was super friendly and gave me the Happy Hour menu along with the dinner menu. The prices for some thing were really reasonable others were maybe a dollar off. I opted for the Happy Hour menu. I needed to try something new anyway. I had red sangria, ahi tartare and pork street tacos. The sangria was just ok, but that is my fault, I know better. The ahi tartare was excellent at $ 7 with spicy mayo and avocado. The street tacos at $ 5 were also excellent even though you should probably eat these in the privacy of your own home. They were a mess. I felt like someone should take me in the back and hose me off at the dishwasher. I actually looked around at one point to see if anyone was watching me. It was embarrassing but worth it. I guess I am back to the love part of the relationship, but we will see if it lasts.

Overall, my opinion is mixed. We went there for Sunday dinner. The Buddha’s feast was good, with lots of crispy vegetables. The shaken beef was very salty. Not recommended at all. The lobster rice was ok, but only token vegetables. The service was good and responsive, though I wish they’d ask if we want to pack our own leftovers. We wouldn’t have put the sauce in from the beef, which was over salted and made a mess in the bag with the leftovers. The biggest problem, however, was that it was too loud to have a conversation. We will be looking other places for Chinese.

The food was bad and the napkins were dirty, the place needs to have some serious regulations and changes.

This was a very disappointing experience. My last memory of PF Changs in Raleigh was great, and we decided to come here for a special lunch. Our waiter was inconvenienced by our being there. The food was poorly cooked and flavorless. No amenities like soy sauce or Chinese mustard were offered. The entire experience created a lasting impression that will impact our selection of PF Chang in the future. As I was leaving I purposefully walked close to the reception counter. Not one comment was made to thank me or inquire about our satisfaction, though two young ladies were standing there with absolutely nothing to do. My guess is PF Chang will not last much longer in Knoxville. And I will not miss it.

The food was satisfactory but grossly overpriced. For what we ordered we found it best to visit somewhere like the Stir Fry Café. The service want bad. Just needs to be less genetic and more flavorful.

PF Chang was a bit underwhelming. Of course the interior is well designed and furnished. The wait staff is well trained and courteous. The menu is beautiful. The food was just good not great or spectacular. I generally prefer locally owned restaurants. This experience teaches me another lesson about chain restaurants.

So I have been contemplating writing anything on Unilocal about this P.F. Changs, it has taken me a month to write my review so here it goes… The worse Chinese food around period. Besides having a rude waiter would cut me off and could not look at me when I asked ask for few more minutes to decide on my order, the food was horrible. We chose to get the Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken, we could not tell the two dishes apart. The meat resembled chicken from down the frozen isle at the grocery store, and the two dishes tasted the same too. The only thing we agreed tasted somewhat decent was the plain chow mein noodles and white rice. SERIOUSLY. Chinese food here is NOT Chinese nor does it taste Chinese, as a matter of fact, corporate should regulate on this establishment and update their chef and cooks. I have been to numerous P.F. Changs(mainly in California) and the Knoxville location disappointed us. Folks, this is not good Chinese food. Save your time and money, Top Ramen would be a better choice for dinner.

Five stars. Had lettuce wraps, won ton soup, Kung pow chicken and New York cheese cake. Dinner for two was excellent and under $ 60

Well I must say, this was definitely a «different» experience. My wife and I went here for lunch. The place was near empty, we arrived shortly before noon. Maybe that should have been a clue, but both were craving lettuce wraps. The service was terrible and the food did not taste like other P F Changs we’ve eaten at. I don’t know if it was just an off day for them but based on this experience we probably won’t go back.

Though I tend to prefer locally owned places, this is a completely legitimate chain. If I want«sit down» Asian food(not just takeout), this is where we go. My boyfriend and I love the Prix Fixe menu here. I’m all about Asian style seafood and they have several excellent options that are always well executed. Since the portions are massive, I feel as though it’s very fairly priced. Also, the atmosphere is so great here. It’s fairly dim, and I love that sort of thing for date nights. Some menu highlights? Chicken lettuce wraps, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and crispy honey shrimp! Also, the Great Wall of Chocolate is a very impressive dessert… just definitely don’t try to eat it all alone!

This is a great example of a chain restaurant that works. Their food is good, the service is good, and they bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with brown rice. Yum! Plenty of peanuts, spicy but flavorful, and enough food to take half home for another meal. Their house coffee is a beautiful dark, robust brew. My husband ordered the Beef a la Sichaun and when it turned out it was not what he expected, the manager happily created a fusion spicy beef dish. It was divine! I can’t wait to try their Moo Goo Gai Pan which is advertised as chicken and prawns.

We were rushed through our meal although we told the waitress we wanted to have a leisurely dinner and wanted to enjoy our cocktails before dinner. We no sooner got our cocktail when the soup arrived. The next course came and we asked her to slow it down. So when we were ready for the entrees they arrived cold. The rice was dry. It was a terrible meal. We had been there one month ago and the food and service was fabulous. I do not plan to go back. I can get better food at the corner Chinese place for a lot less.

I am not normally a huge fan of this establishment. Their food always seems oily and heavy. I tried the pork fried rice with extra pork, and it was great! I ordered online and picked it up. When I ordered, I chose brown rice thinking the dish would be made with brown rice instead of white, but I received white fried rice and pork with a small side of brown rice(strange). Nevertheless, the dish had a great flavor and was on point with the extra serving of pork.

All the years I’ve driven by P F Chang’s in various places and never been there, now I know it was my loss. Mrs. M and I ate here today and it was a great meal, wonderful atmosphere and our server, Sarah, was fantastic. Our food was very good. By far the best approximation of Americanized Chinese food in East Tennessee, which believe me is a wasteland filled with lousy Chinese. This was an enjoyable meal, plenty to eat, well seasoned and prepared. If you are in Knoxville and want Chinese don’t go anywhere else!

So much food, we had to share between four people. As usual, everything was delicious! it’s late and I’m tired, so I won’t post a long review on this one. but if you like P.F. Chang’s, you won’t be disappointed here.

This was my first visit to PF Changs. The Kung pao chicken was very dry, salty, and was over cooked. The Sesame seed chicken was also very dry, and did not have any flavour. The Egg Rolls were pretty good. The portion was slightly smaller than most Chinese restaurant. For what you got the price was a little high. over all I was dissatisfied

The food was good and as expected. The service when entering was not. When I came into the restaurant no one greeted me, even though there were employees at the hostess stand. I sat down and waited for my friend. Around 10 minutes later, another group came in and was promptly told there would be a wait. I wasn’t quite sure why I wasn’t told this upon entering, as I would have gotten my name on the list. The weren’t busy. When I spoke up to the manager and hostess, I was asked for my name and put at the end of the list. That was a little disappointing as I had been there before the few groups that just arrived.

I lived in China before I moved east TN, and I was looking for good Chinese food. From the menu I picked a Changs Kung Pao and asked them if they able to add more vegetable and make it more spicy and they did Which is great! Food was pretty good service was great.

The menu has changed. The way they have made some of the classics such as the Kung pao chicken has changed. It’s lack of sauce left it almost dry. The changes are not for the better. I used to love this place but now it just feels cheap and tastes like it too. Perhaps it’s not this way everywhere but just be prepped to be let down.
