My mom and daughter asked me to meet them here for a snack. I had never eaten here and the previous reviews are all there star so I was apprehensive. However; the service was friendly, the place was clean, the restrooms were cleaner and the food was delicious and hot. Nothing to write home about, but consistent. And sometimes, that takes the cake! Overall experience was four stars for the type of place it is, and if I’m ever craving a fast food PF Changs, I know where to go for fast, friendly and clean service.

Its a chain. Its not super exciting. But its good, its filling, and its fast. Wait staff aren’t setting the world on fire with the personality, but its also not a fine dining establishment. take it for what its worth, if you like pf changs, you will like the low fidelity version in Pei Wei.

Came here after church for father’s day. Mongolian beef is excellent. I’d recommend this play for friends and family.

I like knoxville pei wei when I’m craving lettuce wraps. I love everywhere else’s pei Wei because they have iced vanilla chai tea, and there’s something special about enjoying your meal AND your drink. But this manager completely wrote me off in a condescending manner when I asked about it, saying his market only wants sweet tea. I cannot wrap my brain around a person being in a management position in the service industry and being so poor at offering service. That man makes me not want to go back. I’ll go across the street to zoes to spend my $ 15 on an overpriced meal and drink I like. It’s TEA. It’s not going to break the bank, so I suppose it’s just laziness.

Nice place to eat, came in around 230ish and I missed the main lunch crowd there. It was located in a way to find area and in a nice shopping center. There was a store being remodels just two doors down so that made parking a little weird. I can only imagine rush time. All in all the food was good, staff was friendly, and it was made very quickly.

I have been coming here for a yr now and the food has been good, but this time it was amazing. The assistant kitchen manger yoshi is a God send to the wok cooking style. Thank you for a great staff amazing food.

We love Pei Wei, and this is a great place for a fast casual, dining experience. You can be in and out of the place in about 30 minutes. The food here is wonderful, as well as the service. The food is very fresh and affordable. This isn’t your typical MSG, heavy Chinese food. It is a «fast food» version of P.F. Changs. We visit this location every time we pass through Knoxville.

I use to go often, but no more. The food is good and never had any problem with the service, but if you are a concealed carry permit holder, and exercising your right to carry, eat out and protect you and your family at the same time, this is not the place. They don’t post on the entrance, but you will see a sign on the wall behind the cash register quoting a law that has been changed by the State of Tennessee. It still indicates to me that The manager or owner does not want me to eat there.

This place is pretty good. It’s a fast casual style restaurant like a panera bread or baja fresh. A step up from«Fast food» but not a sit-down restaurant. They make online ordering for pick up easy and I love that feature. It’s owned by PF Chang’s so that gives you an idea of the type of chinese food. It’s not terribly authentic but it’s pretty good. Some people don’t like that style others love it — just depends on how much you care about authenticity or if you are happy with good flavors. I have had a few dishes that were just OK along with some really good ones but no terrible dishes. Service has usually been friendly and fast, no complaints there. My mom liked their sweet chili sauce they serve with egg rolls and the waitress/food runner was nice enough to go back into the kitchen and find out what it was — as well as honest enough to tell us it came from a bottle. We found that kind on and love that we can get it at home as well as there. I also like that you can easily modify things when ordering online, it’s easy to request extra sauce, or leave out a vegetable, extra meat, etc. I generally don’t bother to ask for that when ordering at a typical chinese restaurant as it seems too much hassle for the reward but i found it easy online with Pei Wei and that it does create a better dish/experience. In summary — I wouldn’t go there expecting an authentic chinese dinner or a romantic date night but if you just want some good chinese food and a fast/easy experience it’s a good option.

Honestly— I can’t believe how badly this place screwed up my order Twice. They don’t take the time to make sure you told them the right orders… And when my order came the shrimp was so overcooked it was practically a full circle and dry. The broccoli was yellowish. I ordered the ginger soy dish but nope it tasted horrific. Won’t be going to this one again :(the one in used to frequent in Texas ALWAYS did it right. Turkey Creek Pei Wei SUCKS.

Pei Wei is a great option for Asian food that’s quick and very good! Mongolian Beef is my personal preference. It has great flavor, however, it is often over-sauced. The rice is large in grain and isn’t my preference, however, it is good. This trip I subbed noodles for rice and they were essentially overcooked ramen noodles. I don’t think I would order them again. The service is usually pleasant with the exception of people taking your order who tend to whisper where you can’t hear. The biggest positive is the Gluten Free options which my girlfriend is limited to. Environment wise it is pleasant, though always cold. The music is awfully loud as well. Overall I would recommend this to friends and family and will continue to visit!

Mediocre food — flavors are not complex at all — just hot with fairly bland flavor. Noodles were overcooked and mushy. We will not return.

PF Changs lunch style. Service is fast and the food is always delicious. My husband loves their pad thai, it’s more savory than other variations. For lunch it’s a great portion, I’m always full and usually let my husband finish off my meal.

Pei Wei is a poor mans PF Changs. Same company and similar food. However, faster service as you order when you arrive and then get your own drinks. You have a number to place on your table then they deliver your food. Overall a much quicker method, but less dinning experience and smaller dinning room. The Honey seared chicken is similar to the Crispy chicken at PF Changs. Even when crowded, you can still get in and out to make a movie across the street.

The service was fast. Once we ordered, got our drinks and sat down, our meals were delivered freshly made and hot. Ordered combo specials — honey glazed chicken with brown rice and pei Wei spicy beef. Both were very good. And the price was affordable at less than 7 per meal. My in-laws don’t like a lot of Chinese food but they enjoyed it too. All in all its a good place to try.

Went here this evening rather early, 5ish, hoping to beat the Friday dinner crowd. Almost completely empty at 5, but still had to wait for the attention of one of the host/servers(which I saw 4 or 5) for several minutes before they noticed we were there. Tried to order three items, the Dan Dan Noodles, pork egg rolls, and a tsing tao beer. The hostess asked me to repeat both the pork egg rolls and the tsing tao beer twice. The hostess did not ID(as per the law) for my beer purchase. When the food arrived, which was swift, the hostess managed to botch the order and I got spring rolls instead of the pork egg rolls, which I made very clear three separate times. In the forty minutes I was there eating I watched 4 – 5 host/servers do one thing between all of them(refill the tea). There were several tables that were dirty the entire time I ate and I had to overhear the host/servers gossip for the majority of my meal. The food was decent and fast, but I won’t be back.

Ordered lunch takeout around 1:30, so maybe everything had been sitting around too long. Had the Dan Dan noodles with tofu and an egg roll. Egg roll was pretty good, but very greasy. I also prefer hot mustard and they give you a sweet mustard dipping sauce. The noodles were terrible. Tofu was okay and the flavor of the sauce was okay, but the sauce was so thick and gloopy. The noodles were really overdone. Just a mushy pile. Picked the tofu and cucumbers out and tossed the rest. And while not crazy expensive, these two items were almost $ 10. And I’m still hungry. Also, wish they had an area when you walk in where you can look over the whole menu instead of just those flashing boards. Maybe they do and I missed it.

I walked into this place and it was packed with people. We stood in line for about 10 minutes until they asked if there were two people waiting. We got to go to the front of the line and order since there was a table for two open in the restaurant. We ordered the Pei Wei Spring Rolls, the Thai Blazing Noodles with Chicken, and the Japanese Teriyaki Bowl with Chicken. We were given a number for our food and told to place it at our table when we sat down. The egg rolls were waiting for us as we walked around, meaning they had been sitting back there for a minute and they were not sitting under a hot lamp or anything so by the time they got to us they were cold. The egg rolls weren’t bad but not the best I have ever had. The sauce served with the egg roll was not good at all. The entrees arrived while we were finishing our egg rolls. They both were overpowered with onions both diced and sauteed. They were not cooked long enough because I had onion breath for hours after eating this food. I thought the food was okay but definitely not great. It was similar to a Wok Hay. The Wok Hay of Turkey Creek. It was not worth it and I will not be back. If I were you spend your money somewhere else in Turkey Creek. Cheers and Enjoy!

Sitting at the counter as the closest you’ll ever get to being in Kitchen Stadium. Pei Wei Asian Diner is the down-market cousin of P.F. Chang’s Asian Bistro. If P.F. Chang’s is the Fleming’s of Asian fusion, Pei Wei is a the Applebee’s. Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll immediately notice a large rack of woks, pots, skimmers, and long-handled spoons hanging on a bar over the open kitchen. At lunchtime, ten chefs simultaneously work to prepare dish after dish without pausing in between. There’s a steady stream of smoke, steam, and fire coming from the half-dozen woks in service. If you have the opportunity to sit at one of the four counter seats, watching the line chefs work is a very entertaining way to spend a meal. By the time you leave, you’ll wonder how they have any eyebrows left at all. All of this is to say that there is no question about how fresh the food is. You’re watching spring rolls and honey glazed chicken get deep-fried in woks right before your eyes. From order time to plating, it’s approximately 5 minutes. Service is fast and largely unobtrusive. You order at a counter, take a number to your table, and wait for your food to come to you. Drinks are self-serve from a fountain in the back(excellent orange-infused green tea), and beer and wine are also available. Once your dishes arrive, you’ll see very little of the waitstaff again. If you need more to drink, you simply go get it yourself. One of the best parts of the drink area is the large bin of fortune cookies. Go ahead — take more than one. You know you want to. They’re better than the average fortune cookie. The ambiance is dim and cozy, with nice seating options and plenty of room for larger parties of six or more. Expect to spend about 10 dollars per person for a meal. Takeout is available and they seemed to do a brisk business in to-go containers while we were there. What would it take to get this place up to 5 stars? The food is good, but not great. It’s clearly Westernized Chinese food for an American market. The dishes lack a certain dimension of flavor sophistication. All in all, Pei Wei makes a fun break in the middle of a long day of shopping in Turkey Creek.
