This review is solely based off of my first and only visit for 1 takeout item. Not the best thai food I’ve had and not the worst. Ordered Shrimp Pad Thai — good portion for price(9.99), tasty with peanut flavor but the sauce was like water. There was absolutely no coating to the rice noodles. Maybe if the sauce was cooked down a little more so it became more of a glaze it would have had an exaggerated change. The staff was very friendly friendly. Floors were slick/slimy. Shoes would twist with each step — makes me question the cleaning process. Overall, I will not be returning.

When I lived closer to turkey creek I would go here at least once a week. The service is excellent and friendly. The shrimp sauce is the best I have ever had.

The white rice was under cooked. I complained and they gave me another bowl but without any difference. I lived in Asia for more than 40 years and I know the difference between different rices. But believe me. I was the only Asian during almost 1 hour. I should have known better when they served Thai, Japanese and Chinese food in the same restaurant.

Just nooooo.): Awkwardly quiet restaurant. No background music, TVs on mute. Drunken noodles aren’t drunken noodles, just taste like fish sauce. Very unusual. It was okay but not what I ordered. Kasumi deluxe. The salad that comes with it is a tiny bowl of lettuce drowning in sour-ish ginger dressing. Rice portion is itty bitty. The meat portion is good for the price, if only the sauce tasted like something… anything. /: Just an unpleasant experience.

Ok sushi very small and lacked the taste I’m used to. Wasabi lacked flavor. Service was slow — The staff seemed overwhelmed however not busy.

Awesome Thai food and just off the interstate. I recommend the Drunken Noodle! Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food.

came here for dinner… food is average I think. We ordered salad, sashimi, Thai noodles and sweet and sour Chicken. We liked the beef salad and Thai noodles. sashimi just ok and a little expensive. The sweet and sour chicken was very greasy and really disappointed me .

Lady who took our order seem nice but after receiving our dishes, we were extremely disappointed. My wife ordered Phad Kee Mao and I ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken that was recommended by the server. Both dishes were so salty as if it was doused in soy sauce and fish sauce. My wife didn’t even eat her dish… all they did was apologize. They didn’t offer anything to make it better for our experience.

I ordered Chinese Mongolian with fried rice, Japanese Kasumi Tofu with steamed rice, which was to be served with salad and soup, and 2 spring rolls. I placed the order through GrubHub. The estimated delivery time was 62 to 72 minutes after the order was placed. When the food finally arrived 1 hour and 42 minutes after it was placed, I was surprised to see that it was delivered by Doorstep Delivery, an additional company in the process of which I had been unaware. When I opened the bag, I found that the salad consisted of a very few pieces of Iceburg lettuce swimming in dressing. There was no soup, and both dinners were accompanied by steamed rice. In addition, the shrimp sauce container was upside down and the(unordered) sauce had spilled inside the bag coating all of the containers. I complained to GrubHub who refunded me $ 5 on the order in addition to sending me $ 10 in coupons. According to the GrubHub representative who called me, both Doorstep Delivery and Kasumi insisted that the soup and fried rice were delivered and refused to deliver the missing food. The Japanese Kasumi Tofu was fairly good, but I can’t comment on the Chinese Mongolian, since I ordered it for my son, and he never had a chance to taste it, because he had to leave for work before the order arrived.

So I usually avoid strip mall restaurants – and don’t get me wrong, you’re not paying a lot for the ambience here. But the place is clean and the food and service are absolutely first class! Their Thai dishes are out of this world, but they make some remarkable Japanese dishes as well. All this great food is reasonably priced. For all those reasons, we keep coming back!

Yes. This is the way to do it. Get your Thai, Chinese and sushi all in one place, and they’re all tasty. Wednesday is half priced sushi night, btw.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this strip-mall style restaurant. I ordered what I thought would be a safe dish — Pad Thai– as an entrée and the veggie spring roll for an appetizer. While the outside of the spring roll was nice and crunchy, the inside of the spring roll was disgusting– there is no other word. It was soggy, mushy and flavorless. Truly gross. I have never eaten a veggie spring roll that. The Pad Thai entrée was a disappointment as well. A strange metallic or chemical flavor ran throughout the dish — a sign something was rancid. I stopped eating after a few bites and called it a day. My husband couldn’t finish his meal(Sesame Chicken) either. He said it was overcooked and tasted of fish. He said he could have gotten better food out of a vending machine. Ouch! Our friend continued to eat her salad and enjoyed it. We stayed and talked for a while, but I finished my water and was never once offered a refill. The waitress was nice when she brought the food, but never offering more water when there are few customers is poor service, IMO. I am surprised this place is still around, but it must be because of interstate traffic. Locals know where better Thai food is in Knoxville.

The menu is large and varied, it was harder for us to decide what to try because we wanted to make sure we sampled some variety of the menu. It was ok, good for a stop but not something we crave.

Fantastic. So glad we found it. The food was great and the service was even better. Everything was fresh. I was very happy with the portions. Not like most places where they give all rice and no shrimp. We got lucky because every Wednesday is half price sushi. Definitely worth giving it a try. Jan was our server and she was great. Very friendly and helpful. I will be going back. A gem in a sea of franchise dinning.

Fantastic restaurant just off i-40. I recommend the drunken noodle with Thai chili paste. The price is also quite reasonable.

Not sure if it was apple or Unilocal’s fault, but the directions to this place brought us the opposite direction off of the exit. But we found it in the end and were very pleased. I got the Szechuan chicken which was served with an egg roll and fried rice. It wasn’t amazing by any standards, but much better than your normal fast food. My dad got pad Thai which he said was fantastic. There are 3 parts to the menu, Chinese, Japanese and Thai, so they have lots of quick tasty options. We had our food and were out the door about 10 – 15 minutes after ordering. Both people we dealt with were patient and kid. Solid, fast choice on the road.

This is a typical teppanyaki grill place. It’s not like Benihana where they only make Fried Rice, juggle their spatulas in the air, and make onion volcanos. They grill the meats on the teppanyaki, put some sauce on it, and bring it out on a place with a side of rice. It’s kinda like Tokyo Express in your mall food courts. Fortunately, the quality seems better than the mall food court, Asian places. I actually had my expectations low because I figured it would be the same quality as mall food court. Because I had such low expectations, they surprised me, and I liked it. I ordered the grilled sirloin steak. They cooked the steak medium well and had some sauce on it. I must admit, the sauce was tasty. The meat was cooked well too. It also came with grilled carrots and zucchinis mixed in with the meat. Those were cooked well. The carrots weren’t diamond hard and seemed cooked through. The zucchinis still had a nice crunch to them. According to their menu, with the grilled items, you can choose between white rice or fried rice. The lady didn’t even ask what type of rice I wanted and just got me fried rice. I would’ve chosen white rice. The fried rice tasted okay. It went well with the meat I guess. The meal also came with a salad. It sucked. It was soggy and drenched with dressing. I could’ve done without the salad. The lunch plate was less than $ 10. I think that’s a great value. Kasumi has decent food and cheap prices, what more can you ask for? For fast food, Americanized, Japanese food; it didn’t seem too bad.

This little gem of a restaurant has been around in one form or another for awhile, but recently, it knocked out a wall, took over the space next door and changed up its’ menu to include Japanese, Thai and Chinese food. For the Japanese fare, they have an authentic Japanese sushi chef; for the Chinese food, they have an authentic Chinese chef; for the Thai, well let’s just say it’s pretty darn good no matter who’s cooking. The menu and pricing varies based upon whether it’s lunch or dinner. Either way, the prices are extremely reasonable, the food amounts generous and the taste is outstanding! On our most recent visit(May 2012) I had the General Tsao Chicken and my wife had the Kung pao chicken. We had not had either of these entrees at this restaurant, so we asked if we might have a small ramekin of each of the sauces before ordering. Our waitress was eager to please us and brought the sauces out, both of which were so delightful, they could be consumed as soup. Both entrees arrived and were presented nicely, steaming hot, and colorful. The chicken was succulent and the vegetables au dente. We chose fried rice which was tasty, but mildly disappointing because it was just rice — no peas, corn, peppers or other colorful condiments mixed in with it. The inside atmosphere is inviting with lots of exposed hardwood and comfortable chairs or booths. They currently do not yet have their liquor license, so soft drinks, water and tea are all that can be imbibed. Nice place, nice people, wonderful food, fabulous prices!

This place was better than I expected. It’s very clean and bright and the service was great. I had the sirloin hibachi and for 5.99 $, it was great! It wasn’t awesome but it wasn’t bad. They have a huge menu, consisting of Thai, Chinese, and hibachi. The prices are pretty cheap and the quality of the food is great and you get a large portion. I’ll definitely be back
