We have stayed many nights(about 25) in the past 3 months at this location. We absolutely LOVELOVELOVE this location and even when it would be more convenient to stay in Knoxville or Johnson City, so long as the Kodak location has an available room… THIS is where we stay. No matter the time of arrival, even at 2a, we are greeted with bright smiles by Kelcie or Kristen or Jackie at the front desk. Our rooms have always been exceptionally clean, perfectly stocked and anything we need(extra pillows, another pack of coffee) are brought to us quickly and promptly! Debbie S, Brittany and Debbie N are all AMAZING housekeepers who have awesome attention to detail and are efficient with their time and provide unmatched service each and every day! Linda is the breakfast manager and I cannot recall a more personable hostess to start my day at any hotel anywhere… she provides Ritz level service at this delightful gem of a Fairfield Inn! The parking lot always has room, even when the hotel is sold out, we love the covered entry when the snow, sleet or rain is coming down when we are checking in or out and the luggage carts are well maintained and very easy to use. Billy in the maintenance department is so kind and accommodating. I needed help with a connection in the business center(in the lobby) and he stopped what he was doing to make sure I got what I needed done quickly. Always ready with a smile whenever I see him. Fitness room is available 24 hours a day which is wonderful… I need to have my run done by 5:30a and some hotels don’t open the fitness room until 6a. Pool is too small for laps, but great for a relaxing dip in the evening. There is not a single member of the staff here that does not seem to genuinely love what they are doing no matter the hour they are doing it and I do see many of them here late and back again early but that exceptional level of service is there 24⁄7 and traveling a lot(averaging 125 nights a year in hotels) I can truly say that this hotel is among the best with the staff and quality of service they provide! I love 5 star service! Room Tip: Rooms on the ‘even’ side face the highway but have the great views of the mountains

Clean rooms fresh décor, excellent lighting. 24 hour fitness center. Well kept breakfast area with healthy choices. Comfortable lobby, very friendly staff and covered entry. Fireplace with TV in lounge. Coffee and hot water available 24 hours. Indoor pool open year round. Free Wi-Fi!

Love staying at my ‘home away from home’. The staff is incredible, always going the extra mile. House keeping folks are great, too, always smiling and asking if they can do anything for you. Great location, good price for a good room. Friendly staff. Worth your stay.

Breakfast is good. Rooms seem fairly new. Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Only one pool and it is small. Also they do not keep enough chlorine in it. Returned home and son has swimmers ear now. He does not swim under water. Due to another small child with no adult supervision jumping in this small pool. Location is off the beaten path. That is good and bad. Not as much traffic but farther to travel to get to places. Maybe a little too far away from everything. Bass pro and shops right across the street.

Started off good ! Got here and got checked in went to the pool to relax and then came back to the room and was laying in the bed and our door opens and 2 people walk in and I call the front desk and all he said was oh I must have put the wrong room number in for them and to top it all off the beds in this place are horrible ! Other than that it’s a ok hotel maybe a 2 star at most ! I gave a 1star because of the beds being uncomfortable !

Had to stop for the night while traveling I-40. Chose a Marriott property because we are members of their rewards program. Disappointing. The property appears to be nearly new, so we had high hopes as we took the elevator to our room. The room was adequate, although smaller than a Residence Inn room — market and price segmentation, we suppose, as Fairfield is less expensive. However, the total absence of glasses(nothing but styrofoam coffee cups in the bathroom) is a big negative for us. Similarly, we could have had wonderful fresh air that autumn evening, but the large sliding window could only be opened 2 inches, despite being equipped with a full-window screen. Breakfast was equally disappointing. We arrived just before 9:00 a.m. The breakfast room was full(no seating). There were lines for hot items that had run-out. There seemed to be only one person working breakfast. Perhaps they had a staff no-show that morning, but front desk staff didn’t seem able to jump in and help. Sorry Marriott, but we’ll try the Hampton Inn if we ever need to stop in this area again.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past. It is clean and inexpensive for a Marriott property. On my most recent visit I arrived at the hotel about 2:20 pm. There were rooms available but the desk clerk Samantha refused to let anyone check in before 3pm. She seemed to delight in her front desk authority. What ever happened to Marriott service and hospitality. I am a Gold elite member and have never experienced a hotel employee from Marriott that behaved in this manner. I might add my associates chose the Hampton Inn across the road and we’re allowed to check in at 2:20pm. Guess the Hampton will also get my business on the next trip.

Nice, clean, & cheap. Easily & well located. Right next to Bass Pro Shop & some other shopping/restaurants as well as the Smokies ballfield. Great housekeeping staff. Tiny pool but free Wi-Fi. Nice, free breakfast buffet. Downgraded to 3 stars cuz the beds are horribly uncomfortable.
