Hampton Inn

Best hotel in Kokomo. Nice rooms, very good staff.

Check-​in staff were friendly and accommodating, able to juggle around a mistake made through central reservations (although I had to point out later that the rate given at the hotel was more than what had been quoted; yet, the manager quickly made the adjustment). Appreciated the follow up phone call to see that out room was in order. Housekeeping was polite and helpful. Room would have been very quiet we’re it not for the loud AC fan when kicking in (noticed the same problem in the Lexington KY Hampton Inn). Comfy bed, sufficiently appointed room, and ample breakfast with coffee that was quite good. One major problem – the hotel and it’s sign are impossible to see approaching from the south when trees have foliage. If you miss the sudden, unmarked turnoff and take the next exit, hard-​to-​see signs (nice effort though) direct you through a maze of residences and parking lots. We love Hampton Inn in general because they have per friendly locations and don’t mind your dog coming right through the front door!
