So far so crappy, dirty worn building, overflowing trash bins, funky smell I can’t identify — what kind of shizithole crackhouse did my corporate travel agency book me into?

We stayed here for free because it was a business trip. However, I guess the company doesn’t like me. The towels in the bathroom were folded and looked nicely done, but once unfolding to use they had stains all over them. I sat down on the bed which was made, only to notice 2 stains! Looked like oatmeal or some other kind of food stain. Perhaps everything isn’t cleaned properly because teenagers are doing all the work. But something needs to be straightened out. Everything was just dirty. The tv also goes in and out it’s like they turn the cable off in the middle of the night to prevent people from sleeping with it on. Let alone you have to stand in front of the tv in order to change the channel because remotes sensor doesn’t work from a distance.

If there were an option to leave no stars for this hotel, I would. My husband and I stayed here for two days along with family in other rooms. Our room was booked by his sister, and she arranged to have some drinks left in our room for us when we arrived. We got into town around 1:30 a.m., and the man working the counter became frustrated when he checked on our room, saying that«someone else was already in it.» We found out the next day after putting two and two together that the message was never passed on that the drinks were left in the room for us, and he thought the drinks were in the room from someone already occupying it. After a half hour of them scrambling to find us a room — knocking on doors to see if anyone was in them, I’d be irate if someone knocked on my door so late! — we were finally put in a room. They tried to placate us by giving us a room with a hot tub in it(I mean IN the room), but it seemed more tacky than anything else. The drawbacks to this place are many: The building is old and being renovated, but according to local relatives they’ve been«renovating» for several years, electrical outlets are hard to come by in the room, I had to charge my phone across the room and this is inconvenient when you use your phone as an alarm, the TV wouldn’t shut off when we tried to use the remote to turn it off, we had to get up and unplug it, and there were little gnats or fruit flies flying around in our room. On the morning of our departure, checkout time was at 11 a.m., but we had housekeeping knocking on our door at 10:30 a.m. and again at 10:45 a.m. Not only was this place gross, but it was unprofessionally run. Do not waste your money by staying at this hotel, if nothing else is available in town, you’re probably better of heading to a neighboring town.

This place is a dive. Don’t waste your money on this place, instead, sleep in your car or if you must stay make sure you have your hazmat suit. The pictures are deceiving on the web site. This hotel makes the one that Earl and Randy lived in on My Name Is Earl look like a palace. The room was old and outdated, the floors were sticky, the shower had low water pressure, the air conditioner didn’t blow cold air, the safe was not working, there was only one ice machine in the entire building, the breakfast was shabby, we had to get the key cards reprogrammed three times while staying. I should’ve backed out when we pulled up to an empty delapidated parking lot. On a positive note, the staff and the resident guest/truck driver were friendly people.

Just got into our room after navigating the maze of hallways. Front desk and lobby area presents well. Too bad our room isn’t as nice: –Cigarette burns in the carpet. A faint odor of old cigarettes and cheap cigars in the room.(I’d booked non-smoking). –The wall unit air conditioner was not only very dated, it did not work. The fan and motor were running, but no cold air was blowing. We’d even tried turning it down as low as possible. –Room appeared dirty and dingy in general. Breakfast offerings were also quite limited: yogurt, old breads(toast and english muffins; both were stale), or biscuits and gravy. Felt bad for the one staff member trying to serve breakfast and work at the front desk. She looked overwhelmed. Overall, not pleased. Hotel is not as pictured on the website. Had we not arrived so late to check in, we’d not have stayed. Even with the discounted rate(and the additional discount offered by the front desk staff at check out), just wasn’t worth it. Most likely will not return.
