Honolua is a bay in Maui. They have two stores here in Kiahuna shopping Village and more stores around the Hawaiian islands. This one and Honolua Wahine. They have their own brand name as well as other surf brands. QuickSilver, Da Kine, Hurley, etc… Their prices are the same as most surf shops.

Everybody got what they wanted! Dresses, T-shirts, little cover-all things, nice hawaian print dresses and a hawaian shirt for me, and, all on the last day of the 20% off sale.

Expensive store, but I was able to find two great swimsuits on sale for $ 20 each!

There’s a Honolua store on just about all of the main islands so it isn’t anything new for me. This store is pretty spacious though and neat. There’s a lot of selection for both men and women and they even carry a lot of accessories as well. The employees are friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t carry a lot of shirts that said«Kauai» on it so I was a little disappointed. But another cool surf shop on Kauai. Tip: show your Hawaii ID to get a Kamaaina discount.

We were very disappointed. We live a few miles from the shop at the Poipu Shopping Village. Yesterday, we bought a pair of flip flops for our granddaughter. After wearing them for a few hours, the decal was coming off the sole. Took them back today(with the receipt). The sales clerk said they would not exchange them because they were worn. How would we know the decal was coming off if she had not worn them… She called a manager to come over — I showed the manager on the receipt the defective product would be exchanged. After explaining, again, she exchanged for an identical pair and said they would not do it again. IMHO, defective merchandise needs to be exchanged and«made right» for the customer. I truly hope these flip flops last a long time with the decal intact. Cute merchandise, clear policy for exchange… customer service is not as good as it could be.

«Two Every June» I usually go to Hawaii every year or two. Always in early June, always on Hawaiian Air. I like the Big Island and Kauai the most, although Maui is close behind. I like to drive around, go surfing and snorkeling, and usually take an afternoon boat cruise. I don’t eat much during the day, preferring to eat heartily in the evening instead. Cocktails, a nice dinner. To bed by 8:30 or 9. And every time I visit one of the islands I buy two shirts at Honolua. Never one, never three, always two. Don’t ask me why. Maybe I’m a creature of habit, a lover of even numbers. I don’t know for sure. But two is the magic number. And I always buy the collared variety, buttons to the waist. Predominately solid colors, but occasionally a shirt with two. The pretty gals who work here are always very attentive. Even going as far as to ask while I’m in the fitting room if everything is fine, and if they can fetch me another size or style. That’s good service. The shirts I select are not cheap, and tend to range from 50 – 80 dollars. Yet their quality is good and I’ve been wearing my oldest for years, with nary a blemish or loose thread. I’ll be back next June for sure, for my usual purchase of two. Until then, my half-empty closet awaits…

This is your typical tourist trap surf shop. However its located very conveniently to several major hotels and has everything from Hawaiian swag to rash guards. So if you need something that you forgot for your time to play in the surf, the pricing isn’t any higher than a quicksilver, rip curl, or billabong shop. The set up is mainly casual clothing and they have your standard gear. Lots of boardshorts, t-shirts, button up short sleeve shirts, rash guards, wraps, bikinis, etc. Nothing outstanding or disappointing about this place. Its pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be.

I dig this place. They’ve got cute clothes ranging from casual to dressy to sexy and they’ve got a great assortment of DAKINE items which are sometimes hard to find on isle. They’ve got beachwear, footwear, and accessories such as jewelry and sunglasses. I like that it’s always tidy and neat so items are easy to shop for. Great service all the time.

i especially love the honolua wahine store located in the poipu shopping village. they have a nice selection of cute dresses, tops, slippers and other miscellaneous items. service is always friendly; you’re greeted with a smile and a hello when you walk in the door. if you’ve got too m any items in your hand, they’ll offer to hold it for you – or get you a dressing room to try things on. they have their own brand, which makes some pretty cool clothing items. also, they’re not cheaply put together. i’ve bought honolua brand stuff and they’ve lasted!

Found a cute shake it sista tank. BUT again limited sizing. this place reminds me of Surf Shop Santa Cruz that only has up to size 6. Anyways if you are a broad shouldered gal. might not find anything here. you have been warned… many of their cute tanks don’t stretch… drat.
