I came here to visit with my boyfriend to visit Kutztown University and stayed here for the night. The host/innkeeper Pam was wonderful and was really considerate seeing that I booked a room with two twin beds and offered another room that was open with a queen bed. Down to the key and soap, I could see everything was locally made and gave me the sense that Kutztown is a small and community oriented place. And breakfast the next morning was delicious(I’m sure she is used to many compliments on her French toast)! The only«downsides» I can remember was that the wifi was a little spotty on my second floor room and(something completely out of her control) the motorcycles revving and people coming home from bars. Needless to say, if you are looking for a place to stay in Kutztown, this is where you should go.

We came to Kutztown for a wedding and only booked a one night stay. The staff was very friendly and really made us feel welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and give it that old world charm without losing the modern conveniences. We stayed in the Deisher suite on the top floor, which included two fireplaces(one in the ginormous bathroom with claw foot tub). The room itself was smaller but was more than accommodating. Each room has WiFi, TV, and a white noise generator. There is breakfast every morning, and the food is wonderful. Though we didn’t meet the normal manager«Pam,» because she was on a much deserved(from the sound of it) vacation, her two beautiful daughters took great care of us. I’m not sure why you would ever come to Kutztown, but if you do. you should most definitely stay here.

Spacious and gorgeously decorated suites with all the trimmings you’d want from a quaint B&B in a quaint little town… I stayed here for one night while visiting nearby Kutztown University. This was a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning situation. I’ll admit that someone else had paid for the room, so I can’t really speak about the price/value ratio. But if the price was $ 125.00 a night as the Inn’s website lists, you’re getting a fantastic deal. I can say that the amenities were plentiful, and Pam(she’s the innkeeper) went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of her guests. I stayed in the Frey Suite, and the bathroom had both a shower stall as well as a claw-footed tub. I didn’t use them, but there were bath salts at the ready. In-room mini fridges contain soft drinks and water, and Pam left a cute little bag of homemade biscotti cookies. I gobbled them up – tasty! Morning breakfast was pretty much a continental-type deal. There were various breads, muffins, hardboiled eggs, quiche(I had to nuke my own in the microwave), cereals, oatmeal, and a refrigerator full of milk and juice. Perhaps a bigger spread comes out for weekends and/or the busier seasons, but this served my needs just fine(I’m not that picky anyway). I could easily see this place serving the need for a quiet getaway. If you’re a B&B fan, you’ll love Main Street Inn, Kutztown. Cheers!
