Hello Pizza

I chose this spot to celebrate my birthday. There were 15 of us and ordered 5 varieties of pizza. The only thing that standout to me was the Bulgogi pizza. On the other side, the place was a bit small. Still, i will recommend the Bulgogi pizza.

The staff is beyond friendly — every time we’ve eaten here or just picked up to go they go out of their way to be helpful, friendly, attentive and just plain happy to have your business. Their house pizzas are unique and fun, too — enjoyed the bulgogi pizza.

Cesar salad was great, Hot wings were fabulous, nice and crispy, the margarita pizza was great, make sure you get thin crust! The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Cute place, clean! We will go back!

I’ve been coming here basically since it opened, but this is my first Unilocal review about the place. I love all the Korean-​inspired flavors/​toppings, but my go-​to is definitely the Potato Gold. The sweet potato filling is amazing, plus the rest of the toppings are delicious as well. They also often have deals at lunch, and even if you aren’t aware of them, they will take off the 10−20% for you. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

If you want to experience new flavors —Potatoe gold delivers!
After traveling and eating around the world I’ve never had such an amazing spectrum of flavor in one slice of pizza that also changes from the beginning of the slice to the end. Didn’t expect that!
If you haven’t tried the potatoe gold then stop what your doing and get on it.
Usually eating something piece after piece gets boring, but I kid you not the flavor is like a roller coaster that keeps the pallet entertained.
Super friendly staff as well.

Today we had a party for our son and Danny catered the pizza! It was incredible, by far the best pizza we have had in the whole of the San Gabriel!
Also, Danny and his crew really love kids, we have always found them to be super hospitable and kind!

Service, service, service… HELLO! these guys know how to do it. I like to go out to eat and be catered to and Hello Pizza understands that. Oh, and their pizza is amazing. Get the golden crust with any topping.

Came here with my boyfriend the other day. He told me a good pizza place to try out close by his house. He also told me that they had a bulgogi pizza that was really good. At first I thought that was a weird combo for a pizza but its something different and new, so why not?
As we entered we were welcomely greeted by Danny. He was so friendly he showed us the menu and the good deals they had for the day. Just by looking at it, everything looked so good. So first starters we ordered a regular bulgogi pizza with two drinks. I was craving for ice cream but sadly they didn’t have any for that day. But it was okay because he persuaded me to get the cannoli which I was down to try.
As we got home we devoured almost everything. Even eating a regular for two people is so filling. Every bite was delicious and tasty. The cannoli was so good too, so creamy and I loved the texture and the crunch to it. Danny wasn’t kidding about the chocolate drizzle. AMAZING! :D
I’m definitely coming back! And I’m seriously going to try the whole menu. A special shout out for Danny, Thank you so much! (: (please have the ice cream dessert when I come back)

Five stars for service, quality, and quantity. It was our first time there and we were immediately welcomed by Danny. He gave us a take out menu and showed us the daily specials and even walked us through the menu. We decided on the regular bulgogi pizza (which is good for 2 people even though we couldn’t finish it all) and he suggested their cannoli as a dessert. All together with a pizza, cannoli, and two drinks our total was around 20 $. Not bad at all for a full meal for two.
The food itself tasted amazing. You can taste the quality of all of the ingredients used and it was impossible not to savor each and every bite. Overall this place is definitely worth coming back too.

This is my favorite pizza place in all of LA. My family started coming here a few years back when it first opened and have been coming ever since. We were in the market for a new pizza place that wasn’t dominoes or Pizza Hut and when we came across this place we absolutely had to try it because the staff are so cute and attentive and bow and open the door for you when you are leaving (they also walk you to the door when you do take out).
Their pizza is delicious and hearty! You don’t get flat salty basic pizza like you do with other places. You get instead a unique blend of flavors and toppings that make it truly memorable. Whenever I have guests from out of town I make sure to order from here. I recently brought my boyfriend here who is from Utah and he said this was the best pizza in LA too. Love Hello Pizza!
And, as been said many times before, potato gold!

This place is great!!! Gourmet pizza at a very reasonable price. The service was awesome and the whole family had a great time. Everybody at the table raved about all 3 of the pizzas that we ordered. The Potato Gold is incredible. It doesn’t sound like a pizza but I will tell you right now it’ll be one of your favorite pizzas ever. If you’re a pizza lover and you’re into pizza that is anything but normal you have to make the trip to this little gem.

What you can notice by a bite is their effort and care for this pizza.

Very tasty pizza, you can tell they use better quality ingredients. The sauce is very flavorful, a decadent amount of cheese… If I have one complaint it’s that the crust seemed a touch underdone, but other than that I thought this was a great pizza, and definitely my local favorite.
I got a large, half veggie, half Hawaiian. It was under $ 20. The veggie side came with corn if all things, but turned out to be good.

I love this place. I love the owner, too.

Came back for some hot wings and fries.
The honey butter fries were SO good. Like SO SO SO good. We had it as an appetizer and it was gone in 10 seconds. It tastes very similar to something you’d find inthe chip aisle of a Korean market. Slightly sweet and savory. Yum!
I ordered my usual Potato Gold sans mushroom. But I wanted to try something new. So I got the hot wings (like the buffalo hot wings). It didn’t disappoint. It was a very basic hot wings recipe. How could you go wrong?!

The pizza crust usually isn’t the most popular part of the pizza, but at Hello Pizza the sweet potatoes mousse that they use as the pizza’s border is the highlight of the meal. Be sure to order your pie with the gold trim — you won’t regret it! I’ve had it with the potatoe gold and bulgulgi pie and both were great, although I would reorder the bulbulgi pie again and again.

I was intrigued by the potato gold pizza that several reviewers mentioned and finally ordered it to go when it the pizza of the day (Wednesday, I believe) and got 20% off.
What an interesting concept! Having lived in Japan, I was used to all sorts of interesting pizza toppings (mayo, egg, corn. all on one pizza yep) but this was something new. The «gold» comes from the sweet potato in the crust and the toppings complemented each other without being overwhelming. And not at all greasy!
I ordered online and was immediately called to confirm my order. I got off work a little early and called ahead to request that my pickup time be accelerated by 30 minutes and they obliged with no problem. It was ready for pickup exactly on time and the guy was nice enough to walk it to my car (I had my 3yo in tow and am 6 mos preg).
There is a 15 min (?) limited parking spot in the front. It’s located next to the KFC that closed down and Big Lots.
I’d gladly come back here again. They deliver within 3 miles which is awesome!

It’s the one thing you absolutely need to try on the menu.
Be forewarned that it is super gluttonous and contains the following things: Tomato Sauce, Sweet Potato Mousse, Mushroom, Ground Beef, Corn, Onion, Potato, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, and Sour Cream.
I love traditional American food and I feel like this pizza encapsulates American comfort on a slice. I really enjoyed the crust because it was doughy, a bit greasy, and slightly sweet. It’s not your regular pizza dough crust. They make the pizza really well; all the toppings don’t flop off the dough. All the toppings played their own part and went wonderfully together.
I accidentally called the Potato Gold the Yukon Potato Pizza and got teased by the obnoxious and insanely loud guy working there. Calm down, bro.
**I will definitely be ordering from HP again, especially on my fatty days, which is probably every other day.

So we decided to have a pizza making party for my 8 yr old daughter this May. We booked about one month in advance. The staff were so accommodating and was not demanding on having us put 50% down payment like most locations have been in the past.
Day of the party:
We had about 10 kids participate. The kids had an awesome time making pizza. The staff were attentive to the children and had everything organized timely. The children had a blast!!!
They offered and prepared so much food for the kids. I’ve held many parties in the past in different locations, but I’ll admit, this was the best choice I made this year…
