Nasty horrible place. Horrible service. Asked the worker for sauce, she looked at me with no expression. Do not go here. I wish I could go lower than one star.

I love this place. The Aloha Chicken sandwich is amazing! The workers are friendly, and the place looks clean. It is close by to my house and there is never a long line so it wont take long to get in and out of the store. Don’t forget to ask them for some«Bulldog sauce». P. S. They do charge an additional fee for credit card transactions!(Which is why I knocked off a star)

U get what u pay for comes to mind when u come to this place. Tastes ok and does the job of filling up ur stomach. Usually go here for their daily specials and chicken bowls. The service is good and the workers are nice. I think the non combo items are a bit highly priced for the taste and quality. Meat is sometimes burned but can’t really complain. It’s cheap.

good place for a quick bite. i like getting the chicken teriyaki bowls(with white meat) and vegetables. this place is reasonable and consistent and very convenient since it’s only a few blocks from my house. when i was in high school, i used to come here since seniors were allowed off campus and i would be able to make it home in time. sometimes i switch it up and get beef teriyaki, depending on what i crave. but either way, its delicious and satisfying so definitely try this place out one day!

Food wise the place is great, been a staple since I was a kid. They need to work on their cleanliness. NO Soap in the bathroom? What are the employees washing their hands with? The Bull Dog is a state fair winning creation especially when paired with the terriyaki and thousand island combination sauce. The burger is the best thing here even though it is a great terriyaki bowl place. Great quick bite and definitely worth trying if you haven’t been there before. With the sanitary issues fixed this is a 5 star eatery. You haven’t tried anything like their bull dog it is truly unqiue.

The location in lower La Cresenta/Montrose is the better ones I’ve been to. Great food if you’re not watching your figure/weight

Maybe we got a bad batch but this was awful compared to the location in Burbank. The chicken bowl we got was poorly cut, overcooked and dry, and had fatty bits of cartilage and fat still on it. The beef was even worse — thin, also dry and chewy. Won’t be coming back to this spot again.

Just tried a veggie & rice bowl. Veggies consisted of ribbons of carrots and broccoli and a squirt of teriyaki. No onions, mushrooms or anything else. It’s a good thing I took some extra sauce but even that wasn’t very good. A place named«Yaki’s» with lousy teriyaki. «Yucky’s» would be more appropriate.

Not my favorite Yaki’s location by a long shot, but sometimes we go here due to the longer hours or if we’re up further this way. Staff aren’t the nicest and tables aren’t always wiped down well enough or timely enough. Parking is alright, small-ish lot but we’ve always found a spot.

A++ food!!! Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The bowls are great too! I give it 4 stars because I just wish the employees spoke better English.

I love teriyaki, and that has to be the only reason I’ve given this place so many chances, but not anymore. Aside from their establishment being dirty, the employees are just blatantly rude. There is no consistency with the hours. I once walked over and got to the front door by 8:30pm they were closed, yet a sign said 9pm?! A couple nights ago my boyfriend and I tried getting a late dinner, walking in at 8:55pm(I do realize I was close to closing time, but hey I’m already used to mean faces and bad service from this place, I just want some teriyaki) there were 3 people that just sat down in the patio and 2 guys ordering… I open the door and I hear«We’re Closed» being yelled at me. Basic customer service out of these folks is nonexistent. I would have appreciated at least, «Sorry this is our last customer.» But that’s asking way too much from this place. I’m done with you.

See my pic that I uploaded. Styrofoam container with fries was melted and possibly leaching chemicals into my food.

Welp, after ordering my food(and paying for the $ 0.89 debit fee which I am pretty sure is illegal in CA) to go from the woman with the death stare, I sat down at one of the many sticky, creepily painted tables available in the restaurant at 8:15 pm. It was good to see the employees showing each other videos on their phones(probably training videos) whilst assembling our bowls, knowing that they put a lot of attention and effort into their product. Food was ready quickly which is good, But the lady with the mean eyes forgot to give me my cup for the drink I paid for. So I politely asked for my cup when I grabbed my food and Mrs lady b*tch begrudgingly obliged. It was when we arrived home that we discovered our chicken fire bowl with brown rice we ordered was put together incorrectly! Instead of brown rice it was white, instead of chicken it was steak and chicken, and instead of hot sauce it was potato salad! They clearly need to watch more of those training videos on their smart phones while in the kitchen. Chicken bowls are pretty good here but attitudes suck and the paintings seriously give me the creeps.

If you like sloppy, greasy, loaded burgers that taste delicious, this is probably the place for you! Yaki’s is a long time fave of mine from la crescents to Montrose location. They are sometimes hit n miss, but overall they have great tasting burgers. If you look at their food, it literally looks like a disaster, but when you bite into the burger, it tastes soooo good! I can’t say much about their other items, but their burger and fries taste bomb. I would totally recommend it! So why not 5 stars??? Well… Like I said, once in a blue moon it’s not that great…

I love this location being the former Taco Bell on foothill with plenty of parking. I really think that all their food is great, specially the beef. I’ve been eating at Yakis for over 20 years and never found a piece a gristle or inedible piece of meat when I’ve ordered the beef The chicken is good too, it’s dark meat but well trimmed, no skin or gristle they do a good job prepping up there meet before hand This place has some good burgers and fries too so there’s a combination of healthy food and greasy types of food such as the Yakicito and their Bulldogs. But in all honesty this is a healthy place, especially if you have the sauce to put on the side and add as much as you’d like If you call ahead of time your food will be ready when it when you go to pick it up since all their food is cooked order I give this place for stars because it’s not fine dining, it’s not the nicest atmosphere or the cleanest place and down but it’s clean. I noticed that when the employees go from the register to the food they always wash and dry the right hands with paper towels. This place is very well run and it’s been around for a long time I hope stays for a long time.

This place is aiiight. Their teriyaki bowls are slightly below average but 3 stars because it’s La Crescenta and it’s not gonna get any better than this. *Note: all sizes are the SAME size bowl; it’s just the amount of meat that changes. The«big» is $ 6.15 and the«extra big» is $ 7.15. They also have small and jumbo, which I haven’t gotten before. There is definitely more meat in the«extra big» but the big size is good enough for me. I’ve gotten the following foods here before: 1) Chicken Yaki Bowl(3⁄5 stars): Chicken is soft but can be dry. I always get their teriyaki sauce to pour over the chicken. 2) Chicken & Steak Yaki bowl(3⁄5 stars) l: Kind of a nice option if you’re trying to get more variety of meats. The steak is more flavorful than the chicken but also tougher/more dry. 3) On Fire Yaki Bowl(2⁄5 stars): Not a big fan. It has some weird sauce on the chicken… did not like the combination of flavors they used. 4) Potato salad side(3⁄5 stars): Average. I get this b/c it’s the only side I would get from here… the other sides look super unhealthy and mostly all fried. It is La Crescenta after all. I come here when I want a chicken teriyaki bowl but don’t want to drive farther than 5 minutes.

For the love of all things good, AVOIDTHISPLACE. I ordered the suicide chicken bowl, and it really made me want to gag. Firstly, it looked like baby barf, and it was a cold/warm combo. Basically, it was a chicken teriyaki bowl, doused in sauce and topped with salsa. SOOOOOO nasty. It wasn’t even spicy. So mad that I wasted 6 bucks on this crap. Also, the service is lukewarm, borderline rude. — The cheeseburger and fries here are decent according to my bf. I tried his fries and they were standard. The burger I didn’t try.

We had a fun here and we enjoyed the chicken bowls with sauce and rice and steamed cabbage. The fun of this place is watching everyone who comes in: a variety of police officers, teens, families and everyone who is hungry and on a budget. It was just right on a warm evening to sit and chow down.
