The only thing I ever get here is the chilli cheese fries. The restaurant is ok, I don’t think the workers make food in a sanitary fashion. The guy that took my money with his bare hands used those same hands to throw fries in the deep fryer. That is all I have to say about this place.

What can I say. Fast time fave of mine from way back. I’m truly not a hotdog fan, but when I have that off craving or having a rough week from work, I turn to stress free food. I must say, I think Wienershnitzel changed their chili recipe for the better. We ordered a family deal. Ok well, no family involved, just two. It comes with 6 chili dogs, and 3 fries. The chili dogs stayed hot hot for at least a half hour, no joke. The chili was really good, thick, and fresh tasting. The drive-thru line went fairly fast and the lady was kind. I didn’t ask for yellow peppers, but I question if they serve them. Nothing like yellow peppers with chili dogs!

They are a bit pricey and i think the only thing that tastes good is the bacon chilli cheese fries but it costs about $ 3.50, which is a bit pricey in my opinion.

I’ve always been fascinated by Wienerschnitzel and it’s trademark A-frame building and I decided after 30+ years of curiosity, I’m going to have me a Wienerschnitzel. I mean sure, it has nothing to do with the breaded veal steak of it’s namesake, but what the heck. This location is clean and served a delicious chili dog and corn dog. While everything tasted good going down, my stomach seemed to disagree an hour later, but that was to be expected. I will definitely come back when I’m hankering for a chili dog or corn dog. I’ll just be sure to bring the alka-seltzer. ;)

Wanted to get a sundae. I have a coupon plus it’s cheaper on a Sunday. I was asked to wait(no line). By the time they were ready to take my order, I find out the sundae machine isn’t working! I waited for nothing! You should have taken a few seconds to see what I wanted or you should have had a sign which said the sundae machine wasn’t working! What a waste of my time!

For a fast food chain, this place is pretty damn good. I’m from Boston so when I noticed a fast food hot dog joint, I had to give it a try. I got the chili cheese dog with chili cheese fries and jalapeño poppers. Hot dog itself was average in my opinion. It wasn’t the best hog dog that I ever had but considering it was a fast food chain, I was happy with the quality. What really blew me away though was their chili cheese fries. I usually don’t like my fries soggy but this one was really different. Although the fries were soggy, it complemented the cheese and chili really well. Their jalapeño poppers really impressed me a lot as well. It was just juicy and cheesy enough. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to visit this chain again the next time I’m in California!

Corn dogs! I love Wienerschnitzel’s corn dogs. This place in particular is clean and everyone is always nice. The wait times can be long sometimes and I really wish that they wouldn’t give me my ice cream first and have the food come out 15 min later, it was pretty melted.

This is for the La Cresenta location. Nothing went right here… our order was a pastrami dog, 2 corn dogs, and water. What we found when we got home was a regular hot dog, 2 corn dogs, no water and to add to our frustration, the cashier asked if we wanted mustard and then proceeded to put packs of ketchup(not mustard) in the bag. Look, we won’t live and die off of this really botched order but it might be time for the employees to get a tuneup in how to listen.

The Hispanic lady who was handling my son’s order wiped her wet hands on her trousers, while I was watching, and proceeded to grab the hot dog and the ban with her bare hands. When I confronted her, she lied and denied ever wiping her Hands on her clothes. My son likes this place but I will not go back. This place didn’t look hygienic.

Food is good, but it was made with bare hands. No gloves or anything, and I didn’t see washing of the hands before handling my food. Please wear gloves, thank you.

Best hot dog place ever! I’m disappointed we don’t have one in Colorado Springs, but that makes my visits to my hometown of La Crescenta all the better. Their corn dogs and fries are so amazing I loved this place as far back as I can remember. Their ice cream sundaes and treats are also a big hit. My grandfather loves their chili dogs so much that’s all he gets and he has to get two of them. Anyone who loves hot dogs should go here!

This place has never changed in the 23 years I’ve been alive. It’s the perfect place for a poor student like me whenever those wonderful monthly coupons come around. All the workers are heavily hispanic, which makes me feel less judged every time I come around to this small, old, somewhat dirty place.

oh yeah, i’m a fan. when the 4 chili dogs for $ 5 deal hits, i’m shopping for the week. chili cheese or mustard dog for me, corn dog or bites for agent 99, this o.g. la crescenta shack has never disappointed. of course you have to keep your expectations low. minus star for sketch crew, iffy interior and restroom, slow drive-thru, serving pepsi, and taking away the outdoor seating.

I’ve been going to weiner for over 15 years now & sad to say I think it’s finally time to avoid the LC location at all costs. This is the slowest drive thru I’ve ever been to in my life. And it’s always the same dead silent tall creepy guy that takes my money without saying a word then walks off & comes back 5 mins later. Does anyone even manage or own this place? How do they not know how horrible their employees are & how horrible the place is managed every single day. I go here at all times of the day on any day really & it’s the same crap every time. I can’t even trust the food anymore it seems to me as if the cashier also is handling the food. Just beyond gross!

I mean I would rather eat Tommy’s chili but if it isn’t close by, this is the next best thing. Cheap menu, assortment of things… chili is really runny and a bit messy on the hot dogs!

I don’t live in the area anymore, but whenever I’m home, I make sure to go to Wienerschnitzel for their Chili Cheese Fries. I grew up waiting for those monthly coupons, and would always beg my family to get them before they expired. So basically, I haven’t changed. I still rampage my house for those coupons whenever I go home and if I find the treasure, I drive myself over and get some of those darn amazing chili cheese fries. It’s still pretty good, but I think it’s mostly for the memories of being with my family. PS. I took off a star because we always ask for onions on the side and 99% of the time they forget to give it to us. Not too big a problem, we slice up our own at home.

You know, it fills the craving and as cheap as they are, doesn’t ding the ‘ol budget at all. To top it off, there is always some coupon and if you sign up with their«Wiener Lovers Club» you get a free chili dog. Pretty simple way for free food I must say!
