First Stop Urgent Care Center

This is just bad. Nobody at the desk gives a crap. My appointment was 2 hours ago and I’m still in the waiting room. Terribly managed medical practice.

I called ahead to make sure they accepted my insurance, and they said they did. I took time off work to go there and, once I got there, they said they did not accept my insurance. The staff was also rude and nasty about it.

Once again, horrible service. I arrived at 7:20pm, actually got back to a room around 7:40pm, which is very fast for this place. The young lady that walked me to the room to my book pressure and my temperature, then I did not see or hear another human being until 8:52pm, when I gave up and walked out.
Dr Dave, please come back and be more involved in the day to day operations. I can’t continue to come here which is shame, I have been coming here since the place opened.

I remember when first stop first oppened. I was one of the first customers in LaGrange and Dr Dave’ made it a point that wait times were bad for business… well after all these years it appears that thought process has diminished. The last few times the wait times have been horrible… again today i sit here gking on 40 mins and still in the lobby… no one has updated my insurance card and no one has called me back. It might be time to start looking at a new provider. I hate that cause this place has literally saved my life in the past… but now i sit here… waiting… and waiting… and waiting.
Update: Came into the waiting room at 1341… they scanned my new insurance card (thx to Unilocal)…and @ 1508 i am still sitting here. So much for my BP going down since last visit.

If a real emergency don’t go here, found out a friend had a blood clot from hospital when doctors here said something else differently.

Great urgent treatment center! Drs and staff are fast and friendly. Great hours, open until 9 PM.
