We’ve been regulars here and at other Francesca’s restaurants for years, but tonight marks the very last time we will give business to Bellezza. They did not honor our reservation for one. But worse was their failure to disclose that they had a private party of 40+ people who were all going to have their dinners prepared while we sat and twiddled our thumbs. As the parade of servers started to pour out of the kitchen with entrees twenty minutes after we had ordered, I said to my wife, ‘we’re in for a long wait.” Not one word from our server(Traci) who would not make eye contact or come anywhere near us. And just as we were about to give up and put on our coats, out she comes with our… wait for it… LUKEWARM food. How do you serve Risotto Luke warm? How is that possible? So long Belazzo. Enjoy your busy Saturday nights while you still can. We’ll be elsewhere. Francesca leadership… your La Grange management team is awful.

We were here for New Year’s Eve. Sheila the manager made our time so enjoyable. Our waiter was terrific. We have not been here in many months and everything was as good as every absolutely loved it. It’s really nice when you ask for something not on the menu and they have no problem giving you what you ask for. Thanks for a great time.

This restaurant is great. Fresh ingredients, and great tasting food. Much better than Marconi’s down the street. Love!

One of the coolest nights for patio dining this summer but we got to bring our dog Molly. $ 5 martini night so I had two French martinis. They were delicious and not watered down. My husband got«The Brass»(whiskey drink). Pretty good. Limited menu but the food choices cover the major groups. Great service by Claire. Always wanted to try but tons of other restaurants in LaGrange so we can make the rounds and come back.

We arrived here late afternoon on a Sunday. There was not much activity in the restaurant, but there were maybe 6 occupied tables, one with a large boisterous family. With just two of us, we were an easy table to wait on by comparison. We were, however, seated immediately next to the loud, boisterous family. Unfortunately. Given that, it is understandable that the atmosphere sucked. And given that there were only3 wait staff visible, the service was not great either. Never did anyone refill out water glasses. We were not asked for our order until we had been there for 20 minutes. The food took a very long time to come out(or maybe it just seemed like forever because of the atmosphere and service). But, the food was exquisite. The seasoning was perfect and the depth of flavor was amazing. I had the best fettuccine I have ever had: it was perfectly cooked al dente, had an excellent cream sauce with chicken, and surprisingly crisp to the bite asparagus. It was excellent fare. Unfortunately, the seating location and over burdened wait staff led us to not try desserts. We may try this again at a different hour or different day.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner on a Friday night for around 50 people. As the hosts, we were running late and called to let them know. The hostess I spoke with said she would go back and make sure our guests were being taken care of. When we arrived, the party was definitely in full swing. Our servers, Abel and Adolfo, were very professional and attentive. The food was served family style and came out in a timely manner. The food was delicious! The risotto was a favorite, and that’s not always easy to do with a group! The events manager, Lauren Walsh, was a dream to work with. We were coming in from out of town and needed to do everything over the phone. Every detail was taken care of, even things I hadn’t thought of myself! It’s obvious she enjoys her job, she’s very good at it. A pleasant experience overall and I would definitely recommend for a group.

TERRIBLE! I was super excited to come here since family and friends have raved about Francesca’s — not this location specifically — but Francesca’s in general. Checked in and our table wasn’t ready yet. We were early so it was ok. Got seated and it took our waitress roughly 5 – 7 minutes to come to our table — not busy at all that night. Ordered our drinks/food and got everything in a timely manner. Our server, Yasmine(I think that’s how you spell it) asked us once-maybe twice how the food was and then was gone. She would pass by not asking if we needed anything. We asked the food runner for bread and never received it. I should’ve given the busboys the tip instead of her(I technically shouldn’t have given a tip). The busboys were very attentive and asked if we needed anything every 10 minutes. The food was ok. Very bland but the chicken and pork chops were very tender. Tasted the pasta that my boyfriend had and it wasn’t that good either. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant location to anybody. LaGrange is a great place to eat but not here. If we had better service then it would compensate for the food. But I guess nothing was in our favor tonight.

Appetizers better than Entrees Went here for a girls night over a year ago. The portions were huge so of course we ordered way too much food, we could have just had appetizers and been full. We had the calamari fritti which was good and the carpaccio tre-colore was melt in your mouth delicious, beautiful presentation and lovely tasty toppings, I’m not even a carpaccio person, although maybe I will be now. The pizza quattro stagioni was ok, crust was kind of mushy in the middle, it was much better after it sat a long time and as a left over heated back up in the oven. The chicken desperata was the best entrée we ordered, it was superb. I had the salmon which was ok, a little too heavy for my liking and we had a penne pasta dish can’t remember which one but it was not good at all.

I don’t know why I keep going here. It’s ridiculously over priced with a limited menu. I think you either love or hate this place though. There doesn’t seem to be much in between with people that I speak to. I think the service is a little snotty. Maybe it’s just me though. My biggest pet peeve are the prices. I can cook better than almost anything on that limited menu for a fraction of the cost!

I was very disappointed in food and the service. I was Francesca’s on Saturday evening. First of all I am tired of restaurants that seat you by the kitchen even though they have tables up front available. I guess they think it’s a good place to put a couple of women dining alone. Also felt the service was just mediocre as was the food. I had pollo sashi it was served hot and presentation was nice but not all that special. The staff seemed in a hurry to get us out the door even though restaurant was not crowded. I have eaten at other Francesca restaurants and continue to be under impressed.

I have eaten at many Frencesca restaurants. This one just can’t get it right. I’ve given them at least six opportunities to serve me a good meal in a timely and efficient manner and they have failed every time.

My one and only visit to one of Francesca’s restaurants in Chicago and I question whether or not I’d ever return to any one of them. Took my mother in law here for her BDay, which really didn’t start out right at all. The service is little to be desired and truly anchored this review. First they advertise Valet Parking but the attendant is no where to be found. Asking the high school aged and clueless hostess about the valet and she was as much help asking a brick wall. The runner who delivered our cocktails from the bar could not identify which glasses were which and came up with an excuse that he didn’t know as he was ‘new to the job’(speaks to the lack of training by management). As for our food, the beef carpaccio was marginal and I expected a lot more considering how well my significant other and I enjoy raw beef appetizers(i.e. steak tartare) but the caesar salad delicious. Entrees seemed rather meager in size. For a place that is a Chicago Little Italy mainstay, three bite entrees shouldn’t exist at Francesca’s. Later on two white wine glasses were served to me at room temperature. I complained each time only to have it be replaced by luke warm wine. The waiter’s excuse was merely that they were new bottles and didn’t have time to chill. Though, if the server /bartender knew that the bottles were not chilled whatsoever, why would the bar even serve them by the glass?

Awesome. Food is great. Service was outstanding. Speechless. I live Italian good and I got the spaghetti carbonara. It was great. Although I was expecting an egg on top so I could break the yolk. However my server Olivia explained to me that the egg was already blended in the sauce. I asked for extra sauce and was accommodated. It was DELIVEREDFRESHBYTHEMANAGER. Who could ask for better service. All I can say is I will definitely be back on a Friday evening so I can Ms. OLIVIA. SHEISAWESOME.

Oh… I love Italian food, especially at Francescas’s! The restaurant has booth, table and high top options. It gets very busy on holidays so if you want an intimate dinner with your loved one on Valentine’s Day, you might have to sit too close to another couple! We did, but we still had a wonderful meal, delicious wine and the server was attentive, even though it’s busy. We’ve been there many times and love that the menu has slight changes each time. We are hoping to go next and feat outside on a nice night! We love downtown La Grange!

Well, it is my own fault I was super stuffed. Always a good sign! Had a great asparagus/tomato/onion salad, and could have stopped there. Spinach ravioli was lovely! Sunday night, 630pm, got a table right away. Service was good, but maybe could have been slightly more attentive. Dessert options are a win for whichever you choose. Place was cleared out by the time we left.

$ 10 off a bottle of wine on Mondays! The perfect way to start the evening. For starters, the asparagus, tomato and blue cheese salad was superb. Our group ordered spinach ravioli, eggplant rigatoni and orchetta with sausage pasta dinners that were all fantastic. We also had the waiter recommended chicken parmesan, which was not on the menu but available to order. Great recommendation! The breading on the chicken was very flavorful and had a nice crunch to it. All our dishes were served timely and hot, portions were good . Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Water glasses always stayed full. Bravo Francesca’s! We will be back!

We had the Proscuttio Brushetta for an appetizer and it was light and delicious. The olive oil that they serve with the bread it so good. It’s spiced with a bunch of herbs. I had the Mark West Pinot Noir and it was smooth and light. Pumpkin ravioli was the best I’ve ever had. I actually almost missed it since it was on the specials menu. I’m so glad our server pointed it out! If you like pumpkin, I highly recommend this dish. Outstanding. A group of teenagers were there playing some Halloween songs on their violins, which was really fun to watch. I was afraid they would be loud, but we were right next to them and could still hold a conversation. Service was a little slow but understandable for a Saturday night. The manager was nice enough to stop and ask us how everything was. I think that’s really nice when the managers are visible and actually help out on the dining room floor instead of just stand around and observe everyone. We will definitely be back!
