Ruby Laundry

I have been taking my clothes here for five years, and have never had a bad experience. When I lived in the city I drove out to Ruby’s to have Faith and her staff clean my clothes because the service they provide is second to none. It’s sad when other reviewers blame Ruby’s for their cheap quality clothing having a bad reaction to the cleaning process. I take many designer items here and they are handled with the utmost care. They cleaned my Vera Wang wedding dress, so its safe to say I trust them with my most valuable and sentimental clothing. Faith also does all of my alterations, and the quality of her work far surpasses my experience of anything done at Nortdstroms or Neiman Marucs. I wouldn’t dream of taking my clothes anywhere else, both for cleaning at alterations. Faith is also a magician with tricky stains, she has gotten numerous stains out of silk including: red wine, melted butter, olive oil, hot sauce, amongst many others. If you are looking for a dry cleaners look no further, Faith and the staff at Ruby’s Cleaners are as good as it gets for service, quality, and price.

HORRIBLE! Stay away at all costs!
I had used Ruby a few times for mainly my husband’s work shirts. They were reasonable, quick, and convenient… a combination that was working perfectly for me. Then I made a terrible mistake, I bought the most beautiful dark green Ralph Lauren shirt dress. I’m sure all of the ladies out there can understand how difficult it is to find a shirt dress that fits perfectly, honestly this was the most amazing fitting work dress I have ever bought. I wore it twice, both times being overwhelmed with compliments, then it was time for the cleaners.
There were no stains, deoderant marks, or anything else on the dress it just needed to be cleaned and pressed. I dropped it off at Ruby along with some of my husband’s button downs, I picked it up and it looked fine. When I got home I opened it up and honestly the arm pits and surrounding areas were a disgusting yellow white! They had been BLEACHED! Now, there were no stains, deoderant, nothing in the armpits when I brought it to them.
I brought the dress back to them and they refused to do absolutely anything for me. They said that it was MY fault because «My body reacted to their cleaners, Not their problem!» What? The owner was beyond rude and insisted that my body’s chemicals reacted badly to their cleaners, it had nothing to do with them, it was «my body» and therefore my fault.
So I am left with a ruined $ 150 dress that I only got to wear twice! There is no way that anyone could ever wear it and the fact that they were rude and took no responsibility was just beyond infuriating. Stay away from Ruby Laundry at all costs, there are plenty of lovely dry cleaners in the area that won’t ruin your clothes and then blame your body for it.
