Great old school picture pizza joint. The«special» is my favorite but we also buy a fair amount of calzones and strombolis. Very family friendly and if you can get over the old house turned pizza joint, you will enjoy Steve O’s.

I went back and tried pizza this time. Holy smokes this pizza was a disaster. The«fresh garlic» was actually minced garlic out of a jar. The mushrooms were also canned. The bacon wasn’t crispy at all, it was as if they just baked it raw. The worst part though was the eggplant. Look at the photo I posted. You see those nasty looking burnt bread crumb things? That’s supposed to be eggplant. Please, restaurants, if you can’t afford to stock fresh, quality ingredients, don’t substitute them with garbage, just don’t carry that ingredient at all. If this place had only offered pepperoni pizza, I probably wouldn’t have anything to complain about, but because they wanted to offer a bunch of different pizza toppings, I ended up getting a bad pizza. I would have knocked more stars off if it weren’t for the fact that I enjoyed my meal last time I came here.

Excellent local choice for Italian. The owner will accommodate you in any fashion. Food is excellent. I especially enjoy having a Larosa while waiting for my take out.

First visit tonight. Very casual with wooden benches and tables, almost a «dive» bar/restaurant feel to it. My boys got a small thin cheese pizza. Nice amount of cheese on the slice, and had a sweet sauce. Garlic bread and salad was nice with our entrees. Portions felt slightly small for the price(as compared to other restaurants). We had a coupon so price was fair, but based on atmosphere and portion, would never return to pay full price.

A little off the beaten path. Well worth the extra drive. Had pizza and salad when passing through town. Salad was very fresh. Pizza was good. Staff was very polite.

Wow, the cheesy garlic rolls are amazing, a must try! And trust me when I say if you try nothing else, try the white pizza with chicken, it’s packed full of Alfredo flavor! This is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area! Oh and for those vegetarians out there, the Eggplant Parmesan is the best I have ever had! The atmosphere is very relaxed, and family friendly. The staff is courteous and attentive. But most importantly, the food is so good it’s addicting. The diverse menu makes this restaurant one that everyone in the family can enjoy!

Group of 7 stopped in randomly and had a great meal. Yum. Also met Steve-o. A local hero and great guy. Try the key lime pie.

Cute place loved it! Clean and neat. Our waitress was really nice and service was great. We only had salads and appetizers but it was all really good. Cant wait to go back and try all the different pasta dishes. I’ll let you know how that is next time.

The ambiance is definitely hole-in-the-wall, but the food is quite good«Italian» and wood-fired pizza. The staff and owner are very friendly and nice and the prices are reasonable. If we lived in the area, this would be a definite go-to place!

I rode by this place while on my road bike in Buckner. I had never heard of it so I came back to check it out with my girlfriend. It’s kind of a hole in the wall, but I like that. The food was good, both had pasta dishes, but the dessert was amazing. We had the cannoli and fried zeppoli, and oh my was it good. We’ll definitely be back.

Sadly they no longer offer the buffet which was one of my favorites. Lunchtime food is just average. It is not nearly as good as it was a year ago.

Great NY style pizza I’m a regular take out customer… it’s very rare in Kentucky to find some good New York style pizza… but Steve-o’s does it. Their pizza is very thin and crispy, with a great crust. I always order the pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. They also have sandwiches which are good… but the real winner here is their pizza.

It’s out of the way on 146 in Oldham county, but it’s worth the trip. The pizza is phenomenal. I’ve have had only a couple pizza’s as good as theirs. They have thin or thick, I had both. The thin is NY style fold and eat you choose the toppings and it’s made to order. The thick is no deep dish, it’s more of a hand tossed Dominos or Papa Johns style, but homeade and very good. They served Garlic Parmesean rolls to hold you over while the pizza is cooked, which does take a little while. The service was very good and cost was very low. We fed five adults and two kids on 2 Extra larges with 2 toppings each and the bill was $ 32 before the tip. I will return within the next week, that’s how good it was.
